Description

The present invention relates to a windshield for preventing a candle fire used when visiting a grave from being extinguished by wind.

Conventionally, various windshields used when visiting graves have been used. However, as shown in the present invention, no windshield having a ventilation portion with a narrowed upper diameter of the main body is found.

Since ancient times, it has been customary to ignite candles and incense sticks when visiting graves.
Since the cemetery is outside, the wind often blows, and the added candle is often extinguished by the wind. Therefore, windshields are often used. There are various shapes, but a simple one in which a transparent body such as glass is formed in a simple cylinder is relatively frequently used.
In this method, a candle is first set up at a predetermined position, the candle is lit by an igniter such as a lighter, and then a windshield is applied.
After the windshield is put on, even if the wind blows, the candle flame will not hit the wind and the fire will not disappear. However, when the wind blows at the time of ignition, there is a problem that the flame of the lit candle disappears immediately because the ignited part is not covered, and the utility of the windshield is lost.
The present invention was invented in order to solve the problems related to the conventional windshield as described above, and can be ignited without any problem even if the wind blows at the time of ignition, and the candle does not extinguish after ignition. An object of the present invention is to provide a new and useful windshield capable of stable combustion.

The present invention has the following configuration as means for solving the problems.
That is, an ignition port made of a cut portion is integrally provided at the lower part of a transparent hollow body having an open upper and lower part, and a small-diameter vent is integrally provided at the upper part of the hollow body.
This invention is the candle windshield for grave visit which consists of the above structure.

According to the present invention, the ignition port is provided at the bottom of the transparent cylinder and the small-diameter ventilation port is provided at the top. A useful article can be obtained that is capable of maintaining the burned combustion. Further, since the upper portion of the cylindrical body has a small diameter, the windproof effect is enhanced and the influence of raindrops can be minimized.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described.
In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a transparent glass substantially cylindrical windshield body. Reference numeral 2 denotes an ignition port, which is a vertically long cut portion provided at the lower part of the windshield main body. Reference numeral 3 denotes a vent, which is located at the uppermost portion of the windshield main body, and is a tapered portion in which the upper portion of the main body is narrowed to have a small diameter, and the diameter increases slightly toward the upper edge. In addition, the thickness of the upper edge of the vent is slightly larger than the thickness of the main body.
The present invention has the above configuration and is used as follows.
First, place a candle on the part of the tombstone where you will place the candle. In general, there is a core made of a sharp rod-shaped body at the center, and an annular body made of a metal plate is located around the core, and a candle is made by inserting a hole at the bottom of the candle into this core. Next, the windshield of the present invention is positioned directly above the candle, gradually lowered and lowered until the upper edge of the ignition port is located slightly above the upper end of the candle, and a lighter or other ignition tool is attached from the ignition port. Insert and ignite the candle.
At this time, the lower end of the windshield is positioned below the upper end of the candle, and the wind from the outside does not directly hit the upper end of the candle, and can be ignited safely and reliably.
After ignition, remove the ignition tool, lower the windshield and fit it into the ring. This ring body diameter is fixed, and can be held in an appropriate fitting state on the inner diameter or outer diameter of the windshield.
After the windshield body is set, the candle flame is located in the windshield body and can continue to burn stably without being affected by the wind. Ascending airflow is generated by burning candles in the windshield body, and outside air is continuously supplied from the ignition port and enters the windshield body, then rises and escapes from the vent hole to supply oxygen, and combustion continues. After use, the windshield can be removed and the candle can be extinguished and removed.

As mentioned above, although this invention was described, this invention has the characteristics in having the ignition port of a windshield lower part, and the ventilation hole of an upper part. The windshield described above does not have an ignition port, and it may be difficult to ignite due to the influence of the wind at the time of ignition. In the present invention, this can be prevented by this ignition port. Further, since the present invention is provided with a small-diameter vent, the blowing of wind from the upper edge of the windshield is minimized, and stable candle burning is possible. In conventional products, there is no upper edge with a narrowed caliber, so on a windy day, it is difficult to obtain stable combustion even if the candle does not extinguish by blowing, but this can be prevented in the present invention. is there.
Further, in this example, the vents have inner and outer diameters that increase upward, thereby further reducing the influence of the wind. That is, when the wind hits the vent, the wind is divided into two at the glass edge, turbulent flow is generated around the edge, and Karman vortices are formed one after another, and this vortex vibrates the internal air. In order to alleviate this factor, a change in aperture is provided, and the airflow in the windshield can be kept stable.
In the example described above, the windshield is formed of glass, but may be formed of a heat-resistant synthetic resin or other transparent material. The shapes of the ignition port and the ventilation port are merely examples, and may be other approximate shapes.
As described above, the present invention can provide a significant article that enables ignition of a candle and stable combustion after ignition.
