前記複数のフリッカ検出枠を、それぞれのフリッカ検出枠から検出されたフリッカ成分と前記フリッカモデルが表すフリッカ成分との差分に応じて分類する分類手段と、
前記記憶手段に記憶された、前記分類手段により前記差分が予め定めた値以上であると分類されたフリッカ検出枠のフリッカ成分を、前記分類手段により前記差分が前記予め定めた値よりも小さいと分類されたフリッカ検出枠のフリッカ成分を用いて生成した新たなフリッカ成分で置き換える制御手段と、
前記制御手段による置き換えが終了した後、前記記憶手段に記憶されたフリッカ成分から生成した補正値を用いて、前記画像信号のフリッカ成分を補正する補正手段とを有し、
前記分類手段は前記差分が前記予め定めた値以上であると分類されたフリッカ検出枠のフリッカ成分に対する判定処理を行い、
