本発明にかかる吸上げ装置Aは、枠体1の中に、回転駆動する掻き板10と、螺旋板11と、吸上げ口9を備えている。
枠体1は、略三角形の二枚の外板2・2が、三角形の隅角部間に渡した3本の枠材3・3・3によって一体に組み上げられている。
従って、枠体1は略三角形の断面形状を備えることになる。
枠体1の三つの外周側面には、枠材3と枠材3との間に、外板2の平面と平行な丸鋼棒4が、適宜間隔づつ離れて複数本づつ固定されている。
つまり、この隣り合う丸鋼棒4間には、スリット5がそれぞれ形成されることになる。
三つの外周側面のうち、ひとつ(図3で下側面)は、ヒンジ結合されて、開閉可能となっている。

前記した外板2・2の間に渡された回転軸7の外周に、複数枚の掻き板10が適宜間隔づつ離れて固定されている。
この適宜間隔づつというのは、前記した隣合う丸鋼棒4・4間の間隔と同一であって、その固定の位置は、枠体1の丸鋼棒4・4間のスリット5に対応する位置である。
掻き板10は、平板状の部材であって、隣合う掻き板10は、その伸びる方向の角度が90度づつ異なって、回転軸7に固定されている。(図4)
掻き板10のうち、吸上げパイプ8から離隔した位置に取付けられた掻き板10aの回転軸7から先端までの長さは、回転軸7から外板2の隅角部の枠材3までよりも短く、回転軸7から外板2の三辺の中間部までよりも長く形成されている。
このことにより、回転軸7とともに掻き板10aが回転すると、枠材3に接触しないが、その一回転の中の一部で、丸鋼棒4・4間のスリット5から、外板2の外周よりも外、つまりは枠体1の外側に突出することになる。(図3)
掻き板10のうち、吸上げパイプ8近傍側に取付けられた掻き板10b・10cは、前記した掻き板10aよりも短く、回転軸7とともに回転するとき、その先端が吸上げ口9近くを通過するようになっている。

要するに、螺旋板11は、液状物Bを送ることが出来ればよく、螺旋スクリュー翼と同様の作用を果たすものなら、どのような形状や構成のものでよい。
実施例では、螺旋板11は平板状のものを使用したが、スクリューのように板11自体にヒネリを与えたような板材も使用可能である。
