Description

The present invention relates to a support device configured to support a roll material such as a label or a seal affixed on, for example, a recording paper used in a printer, a facsimile, or the like, or a mount wound in a roll shape. .

Conventionally, a support device for this type of roll object inserts a support shaft that can be expanded and contracted at the center of the roll object, and after inserting the support shaft with the roll object in a contracted state, the support shaft is extended. Then, by engaging the both end portions with the both support members, the roll object is rotatably mounted between the support members via the support shaft. In addition, one of the pair of support members is fixed to the base body, and a support shaft is provided integrally with the fixed support member, and after a roll is attached to the support shaft, another support member is provided. There is also known a configuration in which a roll is rotatably mounted between both support members by attaching to the other end of the support shaft and fixing the support shaft to the base body or the like.

Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 63-35750

However, in the former support device, an operation of inserting the support shaft while holding the support shaft in a contracted state and further extending the support shaft after positioning the support shaft and the two support members is performed. Has a problem that the attachment / detachment operation becomes complicated and, in combination with the necessity of using both hands for the attachment / detachment operation, makes the operation more complicated. . Even in the latter support device, since it is necessary to attach and detach one support member, it has the same problem as the former.

The present invention has been made in view of such a conventional problem, and an object of the present invention is to provide a support device for a roll object that can be easily attached and detached by one-hand operation.

According to the roll object support device of any one of claims 1 and 2 of the present invention, the roll object can be removed by a simple operation such as inserting and withdrawing the roll object in the radial direction of the support device. Since attachment and detachment can be performed and the operation can be performed with one hand, the attachment and detachment operation can be simplified.

In particular, as in the invention described in claim 2, the support members can be moved in the direction of approaching and separating from each other so that the distance between them can be adjusted, so that rolls of various lengths can be adjusted. Enables support.

The present invention has realized a support device for a roll product that can simplify the attaching / detaching operation of the roll product.

Hereinafter, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The present embodiment shows an example applied to a printing apparatus such as a label printer. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes the label printer.

The label printer 1 includes a base 2, a print head 3 such as a thermal head provided on one end of the upper surface of the base 2, and a roll support device 4 according to this embodiment provided on the other end. And is composed of.

In this embodiment, the roll R is a roll of a long recording paper W, and the recording paper W is drawn out from the roll R supported by the support device 4 and the printing is performed. It is sent to the head 3.

The support device 4 according to the present embodiment is installed in a roll object storage recess 5 formed in the base body 2 and opened upward, and the recording paper W is pulled out at the bottom of the roll object storage recess 5. A pair of support members 6 which are arranged at intervals in a direction perpendicular to the direction, and between which the roll object is inserted along the radial direction from above, and the roll object A pair of pivots 7 provided along the direction of the axis of R and the direction substantially perpendicular to the insertion direction and the opposing surfaces of the support members 6 are disposed along the vertical direction, and in the length direction. A pair of oscillating members 8 that are swingably mounted on the pivots 7 at substantially intermediate portions, and protruded toward the other oscillating members 8 in the vicinity of the upper ends of these oscillating members 8. The locking pin 9 and each swinging member 8 are connected to the lower end portions thereof. And an urging member 10 (see FIGS. 2 and 3) for urging in the direction in which the head is approached, and the interval between the portions of the support member 6 supported by the pivot 7 is greater than the length of the roll R. The basic configuration is set to be slightly larger.

Next, these details will be described. The upper end portions of the support members 6 are formed as guide surfaces 6a that are inclined so as to be gradually separated from each other as they go upward. A through hole 6b in which the swing member 8 is accommodated is formed so as to penetrate in the thickness direction, and the pivot 7 is spanned between a pair of inner wall surfaces along the vertical direction of the through hole 6b.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a sliding member 11 along the length direction of the roll R is integrally provided at the lower ends of both the supporting members 6. The pair of guide grooves 12 formed on the bottom surface of the roll object storage recess 5 are slidably fitted. These guide grooves 12 are formed in a predetermined length along the length direction of the roll R, and each of the sliding members 11 is fitted into these guide grooves 12, thereby The support member 6 is configured to maintain the parallel state, and the sliding members 11 are slid along the guide grooves 12 so that the two support members 6 can maintain the parallel state. It is the structure which can be relatively moved in the direction which approaches / separates.

As described above, the rocking member 8 is mounted in the through hole 6b formed in each support member 6 via the pivot 7, and in a state where the roll object R is not inserted, the biasing member 10 When the lower end portion is urged and swung about the pivot shaft 7, the lower end portion protrudes inward from the inner surface of the support member 6 as shown in FIG. The distal end of the locking pin 9 is positioned inside the through hole 6b. When the roll R is inserted, the lower end of the swing member 8 is pushed into the through-hole 6b by the both ends of the roll R so that the roll R is provided at the upper end of the swing member 8. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the locking pin 9 is projected from the through hole 6b.

Further, as shown in FIG. 1, each support member 6 is provided with a rack 13 along the bottom surface of the roll object storage recess 5. The racks 13 are always spaced from each other at their tips. A pinion 14 that is engaged with both racks 13 is disposed in the overlapping portion. The pinion 14 is rotatably mounted on the bottom surface of the roll object storage recess 5 via a shaft 15, so that when one support member 6 is slid in an arbitrary direction, the other The supporting member 6 is slid in the direction opposite to the sliding direction of the one supporting member 6 and is slid by a distance equal to the sliding amount of the one supporting member 6.

In this embodiment, one of the support members 6 is provided with a locking mechanism 15 for locking the support member 6 at an arbitrary position along the guide groove 12 described above. As shown in FIG. 1, this locking mechanism 15 is a saw blade formed in parallel with the guide groove 12 at a position facing the side surface of the support member 6 on the inner wall surface of the roll object storage recess 5. And a stopper 17 which is attached to a portion of the support member 6 facing the locking groove 16 and is engaged with and disengaged from the locking groove 16.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 4, a part of the stopper 17 protrudes from the side of the support member 6 and is tapered so as to gradually narrow in the protruding direction. Thus, by being engaged with the locking groove 16 in the taber portion, sliding of the support member 6 is restricted. Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the stopper 17 is integrally attached to a lower end portion of an operation rod 18 that is slidably mounted on the support member 6 in the vertical direction. And the upper end part of this operation rod 18 is formed in the length which always protrudes from the upper end part of the said supporting member 6. FIG.

Therefore, by grasping the upper end portion of the operating rod 18 and pulling it upward, the stopper 17 is pulled out from the locking groove 16, thereby allowing the support member 6 to slide, and the support member 6 is After sliding to a predetermined position, the operating rod 18 is lowered to engage the stopper 17 with one of the locking grooves 16, thereby restraining the sliding of the support member 6. Here, when the sliding of one support member 6 is restricted, the other support member 6 is connected to the one support member 6 by a pair of racks 13 and a pinion 14 meshed with the racks 13. As a result, sliding of the other support member 6 is also restrained.

Next, the operation of this embodiment configured as described above will be described. First, as shown by a chain line in FIG. 4, after the operating rod 18 is pulled up to release the engagement state between the stopper 17 and the locking groove 16, the support member 6 is slid to attach these intervals. Match the length of the roll to be rolled. At this time, due to the action of the pair of racks 13 and the pinions 14, the two support members 6 have the same sliding amount of the support members 6 and the sliding directions are reversed. Accordingly, the distance is adjusted in a state where the center position between the two support members 6 is kept constant. Therefore, the center in the length direction of the roll R mounted between the two support members 6 and the print head are adjusted. The center of 3 is always kept constant.

After the positioning of the support member 6 in this way, the operation rod 18 is operated again and the operation rod 18 is lowered so that the stopper 17 provided at the lower end of the operation rod 18 is moved into the engagement groove 16. By engaging one, the both support members 6 are fixed at the positions described above. In this state, the swinging member 8 attached to each support member 6 has its lower end urged inward by the urging member 10 as shown in FIG. Is protruded between the support members 6, and the distal end portions of the locking pins 9 provided at the upper ends of the swinging members 8 are positioned in the through holes 6 b of the support members 6. Yes.

Thus, when the roll R is inserted between the support members 6 from above as indicated by the chain line in FIG. 2, the rocking member 8 is moved until the lower end of the roll R reaches the portion of the pivot 7. , The posture described above is maintained.

When the roll object R is further lowered, the lower end portion of the roll object R comes into contact with each rocking member 8 and swings so that these rocking members 8 are separated from each other. At the same time, by such a swinging operation, the locking pin 9 provided at the upper end portion of each swinging member 8 is gradually projected between the support members 6 from the through hole 6b and is also lowered. The roll pin R is gradually inserted into the center hole of the product R, and when the roll product R is further lowered, the locking pin 9 is brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the roll product R at its upper end as shown in FIG. Accordingly, the roll object R is supported by being held so as to be suspended by the both locking pins 9.

On the other hand, when removing the roll object R, an operation of lifting the roll object R upward may be performed by a procedure reverse to the mounting procedure described above. When the roll object R is pulled upward in this way, each swing member 8 is swung by the urging member 10 so that the lower end portions thereof approach each other, and the locking pin 9 is moved from the roll object R. When the lower end of the roll R passes through the pivot 7 when moved in the pulling direction, the locking pins 9 are completely pulled out from the roll R as shown in FIG. Therefore, in the state shown in FIG. 2, the part which interferes between the roll thing R and the support apparatus 4 is lose | eliminated, and extraction of the roll thing R is performed smoothly.

Thus, according to the support device 4 of the roll object R according to the present embodiment, the roll object R can be attached and detached by operations such as insertion and extraction of the roll object R, and the operation is also performed by the roll object R. Can be performed by moving up and down with one hand, the operation is extremely simple.

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. In this embodiment, the function of the swing member is changed. That is, each rocking member indicated by reference numeral 20 in FIG. 5 is formed with a long hole 20a along the length direction of the rocking member 20 at a portion where the pivot 7 is fitted. The oscillating member 20 is slidable in the length direction (vertical direction in FIG. 5) by this length. Further, the lower end of each swing member 20 is provided with an engaging projection 21 directed downward, and the lower surface of the through hole 6b of the support member 6 is slid downward by the swing member 20. A locking hole 22 through which the engaging projection 21 is engaged and disengaged is provided.

In the support device 4 according to this embodiment configured as described above, when the roll object R is not mounted, as shown in FIG. 5, each swing member 20 is slid upward. Since the engagement between the engagement protrusion 21 and the locking hole 22 is released, each rocking member 20 is rocked by the urging member 10, and each locking pin 9 is attached to each support member 6. It is held in a state of being accommodated in the through hole 6b.

Thus, when the roll object R is inserted between the support members 6 from above, when the lower end of the roll object R passes the fitting position of the swing members 20 with the pivot shaft 7, The rocking members 20 are brought into contact with each other, and the rocking members 20 are rocked in a direction in which their lower end portions are separated from each other. Further, when the roll object R continues to descend, both the oscillating members 20 are oscillated to a substantially parallel position as shown in FIG. The vicinity is elastically brought into contact with the lower end portion of the roll R by the urging force of the urging member 10. When the roll object R is further lowered, the upper end portions of the inner surface of the roll object R are brought into contact with the respective locking pins 9, thereby lowering both the rocking members 20 and the both rocking members 20. As shown in FIG. 7, the engagement protrusion 21 provided at the lower end of the engagement member is engaged with the engagement hole 22 formed in the support member 6.

Thereby, the swinging of each swinging member 20 by the biasing member 10 is restricted. Then, as the recording paper W is pulled out from the roll material R, the outer diameter of the roll material R is reduced, so that the lower end portion of the roll material R is separated from both the swinging members 20. Although it is displaced, as described above, since the swinging of both the swinging members 20 is restricted, the frictional force between the roll R and both swinging members 20 is gradually reduced. As a result, the pulling force of the recording paper W from the roll R is reduced, and a smooth pulling operation is ensured.

On the other hand, when the roll R is moved upward in order to pull out the roll R, the lower end portion of the inner peripheral surface of the roll R is brought into contact with the locking pin 9. By pulling up, both the swinging members 20 are raised, the engagement between the engaging projections 21 and the locking holes 22 at the lower ends thereof is released, and both the swinging members 20 are attached to the biasing member 10. By being swung by the force, the initial state as shown in FIG. 5 is restored. In this state, since both the locking pins 9 are accommodated in the through holes 6b of the support member 6, there is a portion that interferes between the roll object R and the support device 4 in the direction of extracting the roll object R. Therefore, the roll R is smoothly extracted.

Therefore, also in the present embodiment, the operational effects in the above-described embodiments can be obtained similarly.
