Description

The present invention relates to a disk storage container that avoids light irradiation on a disk and prevents light deterioration under long-term storage.

Conventionally, cylindrical storage containers for storing and storing various optical recording media such as CDs, DVDs, and BD disks have been widely used.
The cylindrical storage container is composed of a storage tray part and an upper cover part on which a disk is placed, and the storage tray part is usually formed of a thermoplastic resin containing a dye-based or pigment-based material. Opaque material is used. On the other hand, the upper lid part is made of a transparent or translucent material for the convenience of the user's visibility, and the storage disk and the jacket (paper describing the characteristics of the disk) stored together with the disk can be viewed. It is made like that.

However, optical recording media such as CD, DVD, and BD have a recording layer containing a transparent substrate and an organic dye. Therefore, when stored under light irradiation, characteristics are deteriorated and the design applied to the disk surface (inkjet) Such as discoloration of an image formed by a printer).
That is, from the viewpoint of user visibility, it is desirable that the upper lid part is transparent, but it is not desirable from the viewpoint of preventing deterioration of characteristics and appearance of the optical recording medium.

In view of the above problems, a proposal has been made for a storage container having a light shielding function (for example, see Patent Document 1 below).
This is to obtain a light shielding effect from the outside by sticking a predetermined light shielding sheet to the disk storage container.
However, since the shape of the storage container is three-dimensional, it is extremely difficult to apply the light-shielding sheet over the entire surface without a gap, and a sufficient light-shielding state has not always been obtained.

The disc storage container of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a disk storage container (disk storage state), and FIG. 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view.
The disk storage container 10 has a shape that covers the upper surface and the side surface of the disk 1 and a disk mounting member 2 that is mounted by inserting each central hole 1h into the cylindrical portion 1a in a state where a plurality of disks 1 are stacked. And an upper lid member 3.

The upper lid member 3 has a light shielding function and is formed of a thermoplastic resin containing an inorganic pigment. The content of the inorganic pigment is preferably 1 to 10% by weight.
It was confirmed that if 1% by weight, sufficient light-shielding effect was not obtained, and if it exceeds 10% by weight, the molding processability deteriorated.

A lock piece 31 protruding from the side wall surface is provided at the lower end of the side wall of the upper lid member 3. Lock receiving portions 32 that protrude from the bottom surface and extend radially inward are provided at equal intervals in the circumferential direction at the peripheral end portion of the disk mounting member 2 so as to correspond to the plurality of lock portion pieces 13. Several places are provided.
The upper lid member 3 is placed on the disk placed on the disk placing member 2, and the upper lid member 3 is rotated with respect to the disk placing member 2 (in the lock rotation direction). By matching the lock receiving portion 32 of the mounting member 2, both are locked. Moreover, if it rotates in the direction opposite to the lock rotation direction, the locking is released.
Although not shown, a stopper portion is formed on the lower surface of each lock receiving portion 32 so that the front end portion in the lock rotation direction of the lock piece 31 abuts on the front end portion in the lock rotation direction. Thereby, after each lock | rock part piece and each lock | rock receiving part latch, an upper cover member is prevented from rotating in a lock | rock rotation direction with respect to a disc mounting member any more.
Inside the base end portion of the lock receiving portion 32, an opening is provided in the disc mounting member 2, and the lock receiving portion 32 is provided at a position different from a disc take-out port described later in the circumferential direction. Each lock receiving portion 32 has a rectangular shape in plan view, and each opening has a rectangular shape that is substantially the same.

FIG. 3A shows a top view of the disk mounting member 2, and FIG. 3B shows a cross-sectional view of the disk mounting member 2.
The disc mounting member 2 is provided with an annular convex portion 5 protruding along the side surface of the disc. This annular convex portion prevents the lower end portion of the upper lid member from coming into contact with the side surface of the disk and guides the rotation of the upper lid member when locked or unlocked.
In the figure, the two disc take-out ports 50 are formed at positions 180 degrees apart from each other with respect to the cylindrical portion 1a. The user can grab the disc placed on the disc placement member 2 with his / her finger by inserting his / her finger from each disc take-out port 50 and take it out.
As shown in FIG. 2, the upper end portion of the annular convex portion 5 is formed with a disc outlet 50 with respect to the inner wall 33 of the side wall portion of the upper lid member 3 in a state where the upper lid member 3 is covered on the disc mounting member 2. Except for the part which is made, it is made to contact over the entire circumference.

The form for causing the annular convex portion 5 to contact the inner wall 33 of the upper lid member 3 is not particularly limited.
FIG. 4A shows a state where the annular protrusion 5 and the upper lid member 3 are not in contact with each other.
FIG. 4B shows a state diagram in which the annular convex portion 5 is brought into contact with the upper lid member 3 by inclining the angle of the annular convex portion 5 toward the outer peripheral side.
FIG. 4C shows a state in which the height of the annular convex portion 5 is changed to contact the upper lid member 3.
It was confirmed that the inclination angle of the annular convex portion 5 can be brought into contact with the inner wall surface of the upper lid member 3 by setting it to 10 ° to 50 ° from the perpendicular direction of the disk mounting surface to the outer peripheral side.
By bringing the upper end of the annular projection 5 and the inner wall surface of the upper lid member 3 into contact with each other as described above, light entering from the gap between the lower end portion of the upper lid member 3 and the disk mounting surface can be blocked. The light shielding property can be improved.

Further, as shown in the top view of FIG. 3A, the lock receiving portion 32 and the disc ejection port 50 of the annular convex portion 5 are provided so as to be displaced from each other in different positions, that is, in the circumferential direction. Preferably it is.
As a result, in a state in which the lock piece 31 and the lock receiving portion 32 are locked, light incident through the gap between the lower surface of the lock piece 31 and the disk mounting surface through the opening further passes through the disk ejection port 50. Therefore, the incident light can be reliably blocked by the annular convex portion 5 without reaching the internal disk, and the internal light shielding property can be further enhanced.

Next, a specific sample was prepared for the disk storage container of the present invention, and an optical recording medium storage experiment was performed using the sample.

As shown in Table 2, all of Samples 1 to 3 using the disk storage container having the upper lid member containing 1% by weight or more of the light-shielding pigment were able to exhibit practically sufficient light-shielding properties. Fading of the printing state of the surface could be effectively suppressed.
On the other hand, in the sample 4 using the disk storage container having the upper lid member formed without containing the light-shielding pigment, the remarkable fading was observed so as to be visually confirmed by irradiation for about 20 hours, and at the user level. There was a problem in practical use.

[Experimental Example 3]
The following four types of disc storage containers are made by changing the position of the disc ejection port 50 of the annular convex portion 5 of the disc placement member 2 (relative position with respect to the lock receiving portion 32) and the inclination angle of the annular convex portion 5. (Samples 5 to 8) were prepared.
In any of Samples 5 to 8, it is assumed that the upper lid member 3 contains a light-shielding inorganic pigment and has a light-shielding property on the material surface.

The inner wall surface of the upper lid member and the guide receiving portion are in contact with each other when the upper lid member is closed and locked in a state where the upper lid member is inclined 30 ° from the vertical direction of the bottom surface. This is the same configuration as the sample 2 described above.
(Sample 8): As shown in FIG. 4A, in a state where the upper lid member 2 is closed and locked, the inner wall surface of the upper lid member 2 and the annular convex portion 5 are not in contact with each other.
As shown in Table 3, in Samples 5 to 7, a practically sufficient light shielding property was exhibited, and the fading of the printed state of the disc label surface could be effectively suppressed.
In particular, it was confirmed that in Sample 7 in which the annular convex portion 5 and the upper lid member were brought into contact with each other and the disk take-out port 50 and the lock receiving portion 32 were provided at different positions, an extremely excellent light shielding effect was obtained. .
On the other hand, in the sample 8 which was not subjected to structural light shielding, there was a noticeable fading that could be visually confirmed fairly early, and there was a problem in practical use at the user level.
