多数のグリップ対を放射方向に設けた回転体を複数の工程毎に間欠停止して移動させ、給袋工程にて供給される包装袋を各グリップ対により袋口を上にして吊り下げ状に支持し、充填工程で袋口が開かれた状態の包装袋に被包装物を充填し、後工程で袋口のシールを施すようにされた包装機において、
前記回転体の回転領域外に配置された昇降軸の上端部に当該回転体を中心とする円弧状のガイドレールを水平に取付け、そのガイドレールに装着されたスライダを駆動手段により往復自在に設け、V字形に閉じた状態とほぼ平行に拡開した状態に開閉制御される一対の同調爪を備えた同調爪手段を該スライダに設け、
充填工程の前工程にて前記昇降軸を下降させてV字形に閉じた状態の前記同調爪を袋口に挿入し、その同調爪を拡開させて袋口を緊張させた状態で前記駆動手段の作動により前記スライダを前記回転体の回転作動に同期制御させて充填工程まで移動させ、充填工程にて充填漏斗が袋口に挿入されるとほぼ同時に、前記昇降軸を上昇させて同調爪を袋口から脱出させ、ついで、前記駆動手段の作動により前記スライダを元の前工程の位置まで移動させるように設けたことを特徴とする包装機における包装袋の開口保持装置。
