Description

  The present invention relates to a device for facilitating replacement of a dirty infant hygiene fitting.

  Infants who are usually unable to excrete themselves are given sanitary fittings to replace when dirty. Such sanitary fittings can be disposable or washable, but in either case, in the UK, such items are colloquially referred to as diapers or singular diapers. In foreign countries other terms are used to describe such items; for example, in the United States, they are referred to as “diapers”. As used herein, the term “nappy” or “nappies” will be used to describe such items, but some other way to describe such items. Note that the terminology may be used instead for a specific use as needed.

  Nowadays, when practical, infants often wear diapers that replace on special mats, and such diapers have a resilient surface that can be cleaned and sterilized. However, infants are moving creatures that try to move around when changing diapers, falling off the infant replacement mat and sometimes soiling hands, clothes and other parts of the body.

  Existing instruments facilitating such operation are shown in published patent specifications GB 2,360,439; US 4,205,669; US 5,161,270; US 6,009,874.

  Patent specification GB2, 360, 439 discloses an instrument for use with another infant replacement surface, with a lower component and one end hinged to the lower component and the other end removed to the lower component. And an arcuate restraining member fixed in a possible manner. Since there is no support for holding the restraining member on a vertical surface, a child who has to change the diaper seems to push or pull the restraining member. Further, there is no disclosure of means for changing the shape of the restraining member so that it can be adapted to children of various sizes.

  Patent specification US Pat. No. 6,205,669 discloses an instrument consisting of an arcuate restraining member made of a string-like material of rectangular cross-section, the material parallel to the arcuate axis having major lateral dimensions. The barrier has an arcuate recess at its lower end and fits the torso of an infant using the instrument. In another embodiment of the present invention, the barrier enters the vertical positioning member and two straddling strings are provided to hold the torso of the infant using the instrument.

  Furthermore, such a device has a weak vertical surface when the vertical positioning member is too short to support the barrier vertically. Moreover, the restraining string is attached to the lower part of the barrier and does not support the barrier on the vertical surface. Furthermore, the restraint string according to the second embodiment of the present invention is free except that the barrier enters the positioning member, and the infant may move the barrier with the mozzo and remove it.   The specification US 6,009,874 discloses a device that does not employ any barriers and simply has a restraint that fits around the chest of an infant using the device. For this reason, such a device is not relevant to the present invention.

  An object of the present invention is to provide an instrument for facilitating replacement of infant diapers.

  The present invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings.

  Referring to FIG. 1, an instrument 100 for facilitating infant diaper replacement includes a lamina 101 made of a semi-rigid material with a generally plastic surface that can be cleaned in a rectangular shape. The lamina 101 is located laterally of the base sheet 102 of plastic material, and its main axis is parallel to the base sheet 102 and is in contact with the base sheet 102 so as to contact the base sheet 102 when the instrument is not used. It is attached to the base sheet 102 in such a way that it can rotate.   Referring to FIG. 2, there is shown a conventional infant replacement mat 201 provided with the infant movement restraining means described with reference to FIG. 1, and corresponding portions have the same reference numerals. The infant replacement mat 201 is provided with a lateral seam 202 and can be folded to wrap the lamina 101 in a collapsed position for storage.

  Referring to FIG. 3, in a third embodiment of the present invention intended to be used with an existing infant mat, the sheet 102 is placed on the side of the infant replacement mat across the width of the existing infant replacement mat.
