ボールねじ軸の軸直角断面形状に対応した孔を有し、ボールねじナットの外部から内部へ異物が浸入するのを防止するための異物除去部材と、
ボールねじ軸の軸直角断面形状に対応した孔を有し、ボールねじナットの内部の潤滑剤を保持するための密封部材とを備え、
前記異物除去部材及び前記密封部材は、互いに重ねられると共に、それぞれの内周がボールねじ軸のボール転走面及び外周面に接触し、さらに、
前記ボールねじナットの軸線方向において、外側に位置する少なくとも1つの異物除去部材と、当該外側に位置する異物除去部材よりも内側に位置する密封部材とを備え、
前記異物除去部材の内周には、前記ボールねじ軸のボール転走面に嵌合する螺旋状の突部が設けられ、
前記異物除去部材の前記ボールねじナットの軸線方向外側を向く端面から前記異物除去部材の途中までに、異物を掻き揚げて前記ボールねじナットの外部に排出する異物除去用開口が設けられることを特徴とするボールねじ用シール。
