Output means for printing out a sample page for post-processing corresponding to the selected printing method;
Display means for displaying a plurality of preview patterns with different page impositions indicating a state after post-processing of the sample page ;
Receiving means for receiving a selection of a preview pattern that matches a result of post-processing of the sample page among the plurality of preview patterns;
A document processing apparatus comprising: control means for controlling imposition of pages constituting the document based on the selected preview pattern. Further comprising designation means for designating a binding method of pages constituting the document;
