Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a recording apparatus including a colorimetric unit.
At the production site of printed matter, a proof is printed before entering the main print, and the image data is faithfully displayed with reference to the image displayed on the proofed print sample and the authentication color patch displayed with the image. Conventionally, color calibration for confirming whether a color is reproduced has been performed.
On the other hand, the color of the image on the CRT monitor and the color of the image displayed on the print sample output from the output device such as a printer or an image setter are electronically based on a color management file called a profile. Digital matching for matching with a printer is widely spread and is performed at a print data production site or a printed material production site (Patent Document 1).
Recently, in order to shorten the time required for proof printing, a form of color proofing called simple proofing that outputs proof paper directly from printing data for plate making is widely used. Large ink jet printers are used to output paper. When using a large inkjet printer to output proof paper, measure the color information of the authentication color patch and profile creation color patch using a measuring instrument called a colorimeter. Then, a correction value is obtained by comparing with the color of the print data on the CRT monitor based on the measurement result, and the color correction information is supplied to a printer driver which is a recording control device of the ink jet printer.
Conventionally, however, the backing for this colorimeter has been used because of the influence of ink stains and shape restrictions, and the black backing is less noticeable and the colorimetric results are less affected by the backing shape. Also, this backing was a structure that could not be replaced.
Note that there is an ISO standard for backing, and this ISO standard also defines white backing in addition to black backing. Therefore, the conventional structure has a problem that a backing having a color based on the ISO standard cannot be used.
The present invention has been made under such background art, and provides a recording apparatus that can perform high-precision color measurement and can use a backing having a color based on the ISO standard. It is an object to do.
In order to solve the above problem, the recording apparatus according to the first aspect of the present invention is a recording apparatus including a color measurement unit, wherein a backing that is a component of the color measurement unit is made of a resin, and It is characterized in that it is detachably attached to the attachment position by the magnetic force of the magnet.
According to this aspect, since the backing is made of resin, the color of the backing can be stably produced with the required color, and can easily correspond to the color based on the ISO standard. Highly accurate colorimetry.
In addition, since it can be attached to and detached from the attachment position by the magnetic force of the magnet, the backing can be easily removed from the recording apparatus, and can be easily replaced with another color backing defined by the ISO standard.
The recording apparatus according to a second aspect of the present invention is the recording apparatus according to the first aspect, wherein the backing is magnetically attached to the base plane by a plurality of magnets at the mounting position, and the surface of the backing is the base plane. It is characterized by being corrected to a planar shape following the above.
When the resin material is made into a plate-like material, the thickness and the surface smoothness can be made with high accuracy, but there is a drawback that the entire plate-like surface is easily bent. This drawback becomes more pronounced as the size increases. For this reason, it is difficult for the resin material to satisfy the flatness without warping required for the backing.
However, according to this aspect, the resin backing is magnetically attached to the base plane satisfying the flatness without warping required for the backing by the plurality of magnets, and the surface of the resin backing follows the base plane. Therefore, the drawbacks of the resin material can be eliminated, and the advantages can be exhibited effectively. The base plane can be easily made of a metal material. Metal materials cannot meet the color requirements, but flatness without warping can be easily achieved.
The recording apparatus according to a third aspect of the present invention is the recording apparatus according to the second aspect, wherein a magnet or a magnetic body is disposed on the back surface of the backing, and the magnet or the magnetic body It is characterized by being attached by magnetic force with a gap between them.
According to this aspect, the magnet or the magnetic body disposed on the back surface of the backing is attached by a magnetic force with a gap between the base plane of the magnetized counterpart. Therefore, even if there is a magnet or a magnetic body that is a member for attaching the backing to the base plane, the existence of the magnet or the like does not affect the distance from the base plane to the backing surface because the gap is provided. That is, the distance from the base plane to the backing surface is a structure determined only by the thickness of the resin backing. Therefore, when the user replaces the backing, simply align the new backing with its mounting position, and the magnetic force of the magnet and the gap ensure that the new backing is corrected to a flat shape that follows the base plane. Thus, the magnetic force is fixed and necessary flatness can be ensured.
The recording apparatus according to a fourth aspect of the present invention is the recording apparatus according to the third aspect, wherein the magnet or magnetic body is detachably provided on the backing. Thereby, the attachment and replacement | exchange to the said backing of a magnet or a magnetic body can be performed easily.
A recording apparatus according to a fifth aspect of the present invention is the recording apparatus according to any one of the first to fourth aspects, wherein the magnet or the magnetic body is provided at a position outside the colorimetric part by the colorimetric unit. It is characterized by being.
When the thickness of the backing is reduced, it is transparent even if the surface is covered. Therefore, even if a magnet is disposed on the back side of the backing, the colorimetric result is greatly affected if it is seen through the surface of the backing.
According to this aspect, since the magnet or the magnetic body is provided at a position away from the color measurement part by the color measurement unit, even if the backing is thin and the magnet can be seen through, the color measurement result It does not affect. In particular, when the invention of this aspect is applied to white backing, the effect is remarkable.
The recording apparatus according to a sixth aspect of the present invention is the recording apparatus according to any one of the first to fifth aspects, wherein a colorimetric region is provided in a part of the backing when attached to the recording apparatus. It is characterized by that.
If the structure allows the replacement of the backing, there is a risk that problems such as replacement mistakes and forgetting the installation itself may occur.
According to this aspect, since the recording apparatus includes the colorimeter, it is possible to measure the color of the backing itself with the colorimeter by providing a colorimetric region in a part of the backing. . By directly measuring the color of the backing in this way, the recording apparatus itself can determine whether the backing type is wrong or the backing itself is forgotten to be attached (self-identification), and the necessary measures can be taken. Further, it is possible to easily determine whether the backing color matches the ISO standard (self-determination).
A recording apparatus according to a seventh aspect of the present invention is the recording apparatus according to any one of the first to sixth aspects, wherein a plurality of the backings are connected in a direction crossing a recording material conveyance direction. The backings are connected by the magnetic force of the magnet.
When the length of the backing is increased, the backing itself is likely to be twisted or bent. Therefore, a large number of large magnets are required to attach the backing so as to follow the base plane (made of a metal plate such as iron). As a result, for example, when a large magnet is provided on the backing, the thickness of the backing is increased, leading to a problem that the backing is increased in size.
According to this aspect, since a plurality of short backings configured to have a short length in the longitudinal direction are connected in the longitudinal direction to form a single long backing, one long backing is formed on the base plane ( Compared to the case of mounting so as to follow (made of a metal plate such as iron), twisting and bending of the backing itself are reduced. Accordingly, the backing can be attached to the base plane with the magnetic force of a small magnet. Accordingly, since a small magnet can be used, the thickness of the backing itself can be reduced. In addition, since the mold can be small, the cost of the product can be reduced.
The recording apparatus according to an eighth aspect of the present invention is the recording apparatus according to the seventh aspect, wherein the magnet also functions as the magnet in the first aspect. With this dual-use structure, the number of parts and cost can be further reduced.
A recording device according to a ninth aspect of the present invention is the recording device according to the seventh or eighth aspect, wherein the backing includes a connecting portion for connecting to each other, and the magnet or the magnetic material is arranged in the connecting portion. Adjacent backings that are provided and contact each other at the abutting side that is a part of the connecting part by the magnets facing each other at the connecting part or the magnet and the magnetic body are attracted to each other by magnetic force Furthermore, the magnets facing each other or the magnet and the magnetic body have a clearance.
According to this aspect, the adjacent backings are brought into contact with each other at the abutting side by being attracted to each other by the magnetic force of the magnets arranged in the connecting part, so that a plurality of short backings are attached. Even a structure that is connected to form one long backing can be used with a backing characteristic that is the same as that of a single-sheet structure. That is, it is possible to accurately perform color measurement at the abutting side that passes when the colorimeter performs color measurement.
Further, since the magnets facing each other in the connecting portion or the magnet and the magnetic body have a clearance, the backings come into contact with each other reliably at the abutting side portion.
The recording apparatus according to a tenth aspect of the present invention is the recording apparatus according to the ninth aspect, wherein the magnets or the magnet and the magnetic body are exposed at a portion where the facing portions of the magnet are opposed to each other. It is characterized by being locked by retaining.
According to this aspect, since the magnets or the magnet and the magnetic body are exposed at the connecting portion, the portions facing each other are exposed. Can be made. That is, the backing can be designed to be thin. Furthermore, since the magnets and the like are locked so as not to come off, the magnets and the like will not fall out even when an inadvertent force is applied.
The recording apparatus according to an eleventh aspect of the present invention is the recording apparatus according to the ninth or tenth aspect, wherein an engagement portion is provided at one connection portion of the adjacent backing and an engagement portion is provided at the other connection portion. When the other backing portion is engaged with one of the engaged portions when the backings are connected to each other, the abutting side portion is configured to be able to shift to the contact state by the magnetic force. It is characterized by being.
According to this aspect, the user simply engages the engaging portion of the other backing into the engaged portion of the one backing, and the backing contacts with the abutting side by the magnetic force of the magnet disposed in the connecting portion. Therefore, backing can be connected easily and reliably.
The recording apparatus according to a twelfth aspect of the present invention is the recording apparatus according to any one of the seventh to eleventh aspects, wherein one backing is fixed at one position with respect to the mounting position, and the other backing is attached. It is characterized in that it is mounted so as to be capable of relative displacement in the direction intersecting the conveying direction of the recording material with respect to the position.
When the base plane is made of a metal plate made of a magnetic material such as iron, the expansion rate and contraction rate of the metal and the resin that is the backing material are different. If there is no degree of freedom with respect to the plane, there is a problem that the backing is distorted or a gap is generated between the backings.
However, according to this aspect, one backing is fixed at one position with respect to the mounting position (base plane), and the other backing is mounted so as to be relatively displaceable in the longitudinal direction with respect to the mounting position. The above-mentioned problems that occur when the plane expands or contracts do not occur.
The recording apparatus according to a thirteenth aspect of the present invention is the recording apparatus according to any one of the first to sixth aspects, wherein a plurality of the backings are connected to each other in a direction intersecting the recording material conveyance direction. The connecting portion is formed by a press-fitting structure, and adjacent backings are part of the connecting portion by a pressing force based on press-fitting by press-fitting and connecting at the connecting portion. It contacts at a hitting edge part, It is characterized by the above-mentioned.
According to this aspect, since the connection portion is formed by the press-fitting structure, the user simply press-fits (for example, fits) the connection portion of the other backing into the connection portion of one backing, and a magnet or the like is applied to the connection portion. Without being arranged, the backings can be easily brought into contact with each other at the abutting side, and the number of magnets can be reduced, so that the product cost can be kept low.

As the color information, color information based on the Lab color mode in which color values are defined by white balance, chromaticity, and brightness can be used as an example. Since the RGB color mode is used on the monitor side and the CMYK color mode is used on the
The
The traveling
The carriage reciprocating means 33 is means for reciprocating the

The pressing
The rotating
Further, as shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 14, a
As shown in FIG. 12, the pressing
The biasing force of both the presser
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 13A, when the leading
The rotation shift means 35 is a means for switching between the pressing posture and the retracting posture of the pressing
The

[Description of backing]
Next, referring to FIGS. 5 to 7 and FIGS. 15 to 18, the structure of the backing according to the present invention which is paired with the colorimeter in color measurement will be described. 15 is a perspective view of the main part of the backing according to the embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 16 is a perspective view of the main part of the back surface of the backing, FIG. 17 is a longitudinal sectional view of the state where the backing is attached, and FIG. FIG.
As shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, the backing 80 according to the present embodiment is located at a position facing the pressing member of the color measurement device unit, and has a magnet on the surface of the metallic
The
The
A
Dropping from the opening of the
In addition, although demonstrated based on FIG. 18, the structure which made the
In the present embodiment, the magnet 81 (or the magnetic body 90) is provided at a position away from the
Further, in this embodiment, a

19 and 20, the other
The
Then, by making sure that the backings are brought into contact with each other at the abutting
Further, if there is a magnetic force large enough to attract the
Further, the
In this embodiment, one backing (for example, 80a) is fixed at one position with respect to the mounting position, and the other backing (for example, 80b) intersects the recording material conveyance direction with respect to the mounting position. It is attached to be capable of relative displacement. That is, one
That is, the shape of the hole formed at the mounting position of the
Accordingly, since one
Here, a method in which the user connects backings will be described.
The user engages the connecting
In order for the

Next, the operation of the
According to the present embodiment, since the
Further, a

(1) Mode of operation during color measurement At the time of color measurement, the
In this state, when the color
Next, the
