Description

The present invention relates to a peeling apparatus that peels a label from a mount while transporting a continuous label body in which a plurality of labels are temporarily attached to a long mount.

Load a continuous label, which is a roll of a continuous label with a predetermined length of labels on a long mount, and pull the labels from the continuous label mount drawn from the rolled label. A peeling device for peeling is known.
For example, Patent Document 1 includes a transport device that transports a release paper with a label attached thereto, a peeling unit that peels the label from the release paper, and a release roller that applies tension to the release paper. A label peeling device provided with a limiter is disclosed.

The label peeling apparatus of Patent Document 1 is provided with a peeling roller that applies tension to the release paper. However, even when various labels such as various thicknesses and materials are used, the peeling roller is peeled off. The tension applied to the paper is always constant. There are various types of label base materials, such as those that are weak to strong, and those that are weak to strong adhesives, and the ease of peeling by the peeling portion is different. For example, when the label substrate is weak or the adhesive has a strong adhesive force, or when the length of the label in the transport direction is short, it is difficult to peel off the label at the stripping section, and it is applied to the release paper by the peeling roller. If the tension is weak, the release paper may loosen and the label may not be peeled off. Although it is conceivable that the label is peeled off by always applying a strong tension, there is a problem that a load is applied to the drive motor if the release paper is conveyed while the strong tension is continuously applied.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and provides a peeling device that can properly peel off any label using various labels such as label material, length, and adhesive. This is the issue.

The peeling device according to the present invention includes a transport unit that transports a label continuous body in which a plurality of labels are temporarily attached at intervals, a peeling body that peels a label from a mount, and a tension applied to the mount that is peeled by the peeling body. A peeling roller for feeding, wherein the peeling roller is movable to a strong pressure contact position where the tension to the mount is strong and a weak pressure contact position where the tension to the mount is weak.

In the case of labels that are difficult to peel off from the backing sheet by allowing the peeling roller that applies tension to the backing sheet from which the label has been peeled off, to the strong pressure contact position where the tension to the backing paper is strong and the weak pressure contact position where the tension to the backing paper is weak The label can be appropriately peeled by fixing the peeling roller at the strong pressure contact position and increasing the tension on the mount.

The best mode for carrying out the invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a peeling apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a schematic side sectional view of the peeling apparatus.
As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the peeling device 1 includes a housing 2 and a cover 3 that is supported by a rotating shaft 4 of the housing 2 and can be rotated (opened and closed). The cover 3 is provided with an input unit 41 for inputting various settings and print data, a display unit 42 for displaying information input by the input unit 41, and a gripping unit 43 as a handle for carrying the peeling device 1. In addition, the peeling device 1 mainly includes a supply unit 5, a sensor 6, a printing unit 7, a peeling body 8, a peeling sensor 9, and a mount transport unit 10. The supply unit 5 of the peeling device 1 is set with a roll-shaped label 60 in which a continuous label 63 having a plurality of labels 62 temporarily attached to a long mount 61 is wound in a roll shape. The label continuous body 63 is conveyed from the upstream side where the peeling sensor 9 is arranged to the downstream side where the peeling sensor 9 is arranged, and the label 62 peeled by the peeling body 8 is discharged from the label discharge port 11. A thermosensitive coloring layer is provided on the surface of the label 62 so that predetermined information can be printed by the printing unit 7.

The supply unit 5 includes a support shaft 12 that rotatably supports the roll-shaped label 60 and a pair of label width guides (not shown) in a direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the label continuous body 63. The label width guides are a pair of plate-shaped guides that regulate both side surfaces of the roll-shaped label 60 supported by the support shaft 12, and are configured to be movable in the contact / separation direction by a known rack and pinion structure or the like. It can be used for roll labels with a wide width.

The sensor 6 is a light reflection type sensor that is located on the upstream side of the printing unit 7 and has a light emitting unit and a light receiving unit, and detects the position of the label 62 by detecting a detection mark (not shown) printed in advance on the mount 61. To detect. Alternatively, a light transmission type sensor may be used in which the light emitting unit and the light receiving unit are arranged at positions facing each other so as to sandwich the label continuous body 63, and the position of the label 62 is detected by the difference in transmittance between the mount and the label. .

The printing unit 7 is arranged at a position facing the thermal head 13 and the thermal head 13 having the heating resistors arranged in a line in a direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the label continuous body 63, and is connected to a stepping motor (not shown). It has a platen roller 14 (conveying unit). By driving the stepping motor and rotating the platen roller 14 in the forward and reverse directions, the label continuous body 63 can be conveyed upstream or downstream. In addition, while the label continuous body 63 is conveyed by the platen roller 14, the heat generating color of the label 62 is developed by heating the heating resistor of the thermal head 13, and predetermined information is printed.

The peeler 8 is located downstream of the printing unit 7 and has a shape bent in a square shape. The continuous strip 63 is bent at an acute angle along the bent peeler 8, and the label 62 is bent. Thus, the label 62 can be peeled off from the mount 61.

The peeling sensor 9 is located in the vicinity of the label discharge port 11 and has a light emitting part and a light receiving part. The light emitting unit is disposed on a holding body 17 (to be described later) of the mount conveyance unit 10, and a light receiving unit is provided at a position of the cover 3 facing the light emitting unit. It is recognized that the label 62 is present at the label discharge port 11 when the light from the light emitting portion of the peeling sensor 9 is blocked by the label 62.

The board transport unit 10 includes a board drawing roller 15 and a peeling roller 16 that transport the board 61 from which the label 62 has been peeled off by the peeling body 8, and a holding body 17 that rotatably holds the peeling roller 16.
The mount drawing roller 15 is provided on the housing 2 side, is connected to the stepping motor of the platen roller 14 described above, and is driven to rotate toward the mount discharge port 24 that is a gap between the holding body 17 and the housing 2. Transport.
The peeling roller 16 is supported by a pair of holding plates 23 planted on the holding body 17, and is configured to be driven to rotate along with the rotation of the mount drawing roller 15. Moreover, the peeling roller 16 enables favorable label peeling by applying tension to the mount 61 peeled by the peeling body 8.
The holding body 17 is provided so as to be rotatable with respect to the housing 2 around the shaft 22, and by opening the holding body 17 as shown in FIG.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the board transport unit on the XX line shown in FIG. 1, and the configuration of the peeling roller will be described based on FIG. The peeling roller 16 includes a rotatable roller body 26, a center shaft 27 serving as the rotation center A of the roller body 26, and an eccentric shaft 28 having a rotation center B eccentric from the rotation center A.
The roller body 26 is fixed to the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 18, a pair of sliding members 21 that slide and rotate with respect to the central shaft 27, a cylindrical body 18 that is made of plastic resin that engages with the sliding member 21, and the like. The elastic body 19 is made of rubber or the like.
The eccentric shaft 28 is formed integrally with the central shaft 27, is held by the pair of holding plates 23 of the holding body 17, and is configured to be rotatable about the rotation center B. A knob piece 29 is fixedly provided at one end of the eccentric shaft 28, and a protrusion 30 protruding toward the holding plate 23 is provided inside the knob piece 29. Further, the holding plate 23 on the side where the knob piece 29 is provided has two positioning holes 31a and 31b, and peeling is achieved by engaging the projection 30 in either of the positioning holes 31a or 31b. The roller 16 can be positioned and fixed. The positioning hole 31a is provided on the front end side of the holding plate 23, and the positioning hole 31b is provided on the holding body 17 (rear end) side of the holding plate 23, and the position of the peeling roller 16 is positioned and fixed at a strong pressure contact position and a weak pressure contact position described later. It is possible.

FIG. 4 is an explanatory view for explaining the positional relationship between the mount drawing roller and the peeling roller of the mount conveying unit. FIG. 4A is a weak pressure contact position where the peeling roller contacts the mount drawing roller with a relatively weak pressure. FIG. 4B shows a state in which the peeling roller is fixed at a strong pressure contact position where it comes into contact with the mount drawing roller with a relatively strong pressure. Based on FIG. 1, FIG. 3, and FIG. 4, the positioning method of the peeling roller and the position of the peeling roller after positioning will be described.

First, the knob 29 is rotated as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the protrusion 30 is engaged with the positioning hole 31b, and the holding body 17 is housed in the housing as shown in FIG. When the protrusion 30 is engaged with the positioning hole 31b (the peeling roller 16 is in the weak pressure contact position), the rotation center A is farther from the mount drawing roller 15 than the rotation center B as shown in FIG. The peeling roller 16 is pressed against the backing paper drawing roller 15 with a weak pressing force. The position of the center shaft 27 is fixed at the weak pressure contact position, and the roller body 26 is driven to rotate about the rotation center A by the rotation driving of the mount drawing roller 15, and the mount 61 is discharged toward the mount discharge port 24.

In the case of using a continuous label body having a short length (label pitch) in the conveyance direction of the label, it is difficult to peel off the label 62 from the mount 61, so the position of the peeling roller 16 is changed from the above-described weak pressure contact position to the strong pressure contact position. The label 62 is appropriately peeled from the mount 61 by increasing the pressure contact force between the mount drawing roller 15 and the peeling roller 16 to increase the tension on the mount 61.
That is, when the knob 29 is rotated, the protrusion 30 is engaged with the positioning hole 31a, and the holding body 17 is housed in the housing, the rotation center A is drawn more than the rotation center B as shown in FIG. It is located on the side close to the roller 15 (strong pressure contact position), and by pressing the peeling roller 16 against the mount drawing roller 15 with a strong pressing force, the mount 61 is firmly clamped and the mount 61 is directed toward the mount discharge port 24. Is discharged.

As described above, the eccentric shaft 28 can be moved between the strong pressure contact position where the rotation center A of the peeling roller 16 is brought close to the mount drawing roller 15 and the weak pressure contact position where the rotation center A is moved away from the mount drawing roller 15. By doing so, the pressure contact force of the peeling roller 16 with respect to the backing paper drawing roller 15 can be changed, and even a continuous label body that does not easily peel off the label from the backing paper can be reliably peeled off.
