Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminator for a shelf of a showcase, wherein an attachment structure is improved so that a fluorescent lamp can be easily fitted to a lower surface side of a merchandise display shelf without using a conventional lamp holder. <P>SOLUTION: The illuminator for shelf of a showcase, which has a linear fluorescent lamp 6 fitted on a lower surface of merchandise display shelves 5 placed on upper and lower shelves in a main body case. The fluorescent lamp is covered with a protection tube 8 made of transparent resin, a socket is connected to metal caps 6a at both ends, and is fixed and supported at a prescribed position. The fluorescent lamp 6 is inserted into the protection tube 8, and then the protection tube is placed between a projection bracket 5b which is also used as a reinforcement material laid on a lower surface of a shelf plate along a longitudinal direction of the merchandise display shelf and a back end edge part 7a of a shelf tag mole 7 fitted to a front edge of the shelf plate, and is fixed. まず、頭記した多段型ショーケースの全体構造を図2に示す。図において、1は前面開放形本体ケースの外箱、2は内箱、3は冷却器、4は庫内ファンであり、庫内には上下段に並べて商品陳列棚5が架設され、各段の商品陳列棚5ごとに棚板の下面側に直管型の蛍光灯6を配備してその下段棚上に陳列した商品(不図示)を照明するようにしている。
次に、商品陳列棚5の棚板下面に架設した前記蛍光灯6の従来における支持構造を図3,図4に示す(例えば、特許文献1参照)。すなわち、図示のように商品陳列棚5は、その前縁に棚タグモール7を装着し、棚板の裏面には商品陳列棚5の長手方向に沿って断面V字形のチャンネル鋼板で作られた補強ブラケット5aが敷設されている。
ここで、前記ブラケット5aの前面側壁面には、その長手方向に沿った複数箇所にC形のランプホルダー9をそのクリップ部9aを介して固定し、蛍光灯6には破損防止用に透明樹脂製の保護管8を被せた上で前記ランプホルダー9に挟み込んで所定位置に固定支持するようにしている。また、蛍光灯6の両端に設けた口金のプラグ端子6aには側方からソケット10を差し込み、ハーネス11を介して電源に接続している。なお、図4で12は商品陳列棚6の前端に敷設したフェンスで、棚板の前端と棚タグモール7との間に差し込んで固定している。また、前記のソケット10は商品陳列棚6に固定せずにハーネス11の先端にぶら下げて配置し、蛍光灯6の交換,ソケット10の差し込み作業が楽に行えるようにしている。

ところで、前記した従来の蛍光灯支持構造は、外見上で次記のような課題を残す。すなわち、庫内の上段側に並ぶ商品陳列棚6に装着した蛍光灯6については、蛍光灯6を支持しているランプホルダー9の先端がショーケースの前方から剥き出しに見え、これが目障りになってショーケースの外観を損なうことが指摘されている。かかる点、両端のソケット10を棚板に固定し、蛍光灯6をソケット10の間に跨がって架設すれば前記のランプホルダー9が不要になるが、ソケット10が固定式であるとショーケースに商品を陳列したままの状態で蛍光灯6の交換,ソケットとの接続作業がやり難くくなるほか、ソケットの構造も複雑化してコスト高となる。
本発明は上記の点に鑑みなされたものであり、その目的は前記課題を解決し、外見上の目障りとなるランプホルダーを使わずに、蛍光灯を商品陳列棚の下面側に簡単装着できるように取付け構造を改良したショーケースの棚照明装置を提供することにある。

すなわち、図示実施例では直管形蛍光灯6をその管径よりも一回り大きな透明樹脂製の保護管8に嵌挿した上で、この保護管8を商品陳列棚5の前端に取付けた棚タグモール7の後端縁部7aとその背後に平行して棚板の下面に敷設した補強材兼用のV字形ブラケット5bとの間に下方から押し込んで挟持固定するようにしている。ここで、保護管8は弾性変形が可能な樹脂製の円管であり、その管径をφとして、棚タグモール7の後端縁部7aとブラケット5bの壁面との間の差し渡し間隔dが保護管8の管径φよりも多少狭く(d<φ)なるように設定しておく。また、図示例のブラケット5bは、図3に示した従来構造の補強ブラケット5aと同様な断面V形のチャンネル鋼板で作られているが、その断面形状は図示形状に限定されるものではなく、例えば前壁面を凹状に湾曲形成して挟み込んだ保護管8の保持性を高めるようにしてもよい。なお、蛍光灯6の両端口金6aには図3に示した従来構造と同様な吊り下げ式のソケット10を差し込んで電源に接続するようにする。
