Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet lid cover which is inexpensively manufactured in a simpler manner, can be easily mounted on a toilet lid, and is effective in terms of an appearance and sanitation. <P>SOLUTION: The toilet lid cover made of plastic covers at least a part of the upper surface and side face of the toilet lid of a western style toilet. Description

  The present invention relates to a toilet lid cover used by being attached to a toilet lid of a Western-style toilet.

A Western-style toilet is usually composed of a toilet body, a toilet seat placed thereon, and a toilet lid for covering the opening of the toilet seat when not in use.

A cover for covering the toilet lid has been developed so far. For example, a front cover that is detachably wound around the outer periphery of the lid by the folded portion, a back cover that covers the back side of the lid, and a latch attached to the folded portion and the back cover of the front cover A lid cover (Patent Document 1) that has tools and covers them in a detachable manner, or attaches an elastic member or a length-adjustable string to the back of the toilet lid cover.   Each of the conventional toilet lid covers as described above has a complicated configuration composed of a plurality of elements, and it is troublesome to use. Accordingly, there has been a demand for the development of a toilet lid cover that is manufactured more simply and inexpensively and that can be easily mounted on the valve lid and is effective in terms of aesthetics and hygiene.

  That is, the present invention relates to a plastic toilet lid cover that covers at least part of the upper surface and the side surface of the toilet lid of a Western-style toilet.

Since the toilet lid cover of the present invention is made of plastic and is composed of one element, it can be manufactured at a very low cost by mass production, and can be easily attached to the valve lid. And it is excellent in terms of hygiene.

  The plastic toilet lid cover of the present invention covers at least a part of the upper surface and the side surface of the toilet lid of a Western-style toilet. The toilet lid cover does not have to have an area enough to cover all of the upper and side surfaces of the toilet lid, but it is preferable to cover as wide a portion as possible from the viewpoint of aesthetics and hygiene. For example, it is preferable that at least substantially all of the upper surface of the toilet lid is covered. Furthermore, it is preferable to have a folded portion on the back side of the toilet lid in order to be firmly fixed by the toilet lid.

The thickness of the toilet lid cover may be appropriate, but it is preferably relatively thin in consideration of the manufacturing process and when it is attached to the toilet seat, for example, about several millimeters is preferable.

As one aspect of the toilet lid cover of the present invention, there is one having a three-dimensional shape that is substantially the same as at least a part of the upper surface and the side surface of the toilet lid of a Western-style toilet. In the mold having such a three-dimensional shape, the toilet lid cover can be wrapped around and locked to the toilet lid by the folded portion on the back side of the toilet lid.

The toilet lid cover having such a three-dimensional shape can be obtained by any means known to those skilled in the art, for example, by an appropriate means such as injection molding using a mold or the like made to match the shape of the toilet lid to be covered. It can be manufactured by integral molding.

In this case, suitable plastics known to those skilled in the art, such as AS resin, polycarbonate, hard polyethylene, polypropylene, polypropylene with composite material, methacrylic resin, ABS resin, and nylon, are used as the plastic material for the toilet lid cover. Is preferred. As the hardness, for example, about 65 or more is desirable in the A type (A type of spring type hardness test) defined in JIS-K6301.

  As another aspect, the entire toilet lid cover can be composed of a single flat plastic sheet (film). In such a case, it is preferable to use a soft plastic such as soft polyvinyl chloride as the plastic material of the toilet lid cover.

By providing an appropriate adhesive layer or fixing means made of an adhesive or the like at an appropriate position on the back surface of the toilet lid cover of the present invention, the fixation with the toilet lid can be further strengthened.

  Further, for example, a pattern or a picture is applied to at least a portion corresponding to the upper surface side of the toilet lid, whereby the aesthetic appearance can be improved. Such a pattern or pattern can be applied by any method known to those skilled in the art. For example, it may be applied directly to the plastic using a technique such as a printing technique, or may be indirectly applied by attaching an attachment such as a seal with a pattern or a pattern to an appropriate part of the toilet lid cover. The plastic may be transparent or opaque, and may be colored in an appropriate color. If it is transparent, the color of the toilet bowl itself can be utilized to keep the color of the toilet bowl uniform.

According to the present invention, a toilet lid cover effective in terms of beauty and hygiene is provided.

A plastic toilet lid cover that covers at least a part of the upper and side surfaces of the toilet lid of a Western-style toilet.
