球状部と該球状部の下面に突設された軸部とを有すると共に、該軸部をリンクアームの取付部に固定したボールピンと、周壁部の外周の円環状凹部をリンクコンロッドの一端側に形成された取付孔に取り付けると共に、該周壁部の内周の摺動面に前記ボールピンの球状部を球面対偶によって摺動自在に嵌合した断面逆凹状のリテーナとを備え、これらボールピンとリテーナとをゴム製で円筒状のジョイントシールを介してシールするようにしたボールジョイントのシール構造において、
前記ジョイントシールを、前記リテーナの円環状凹部の上側と前記リンクコンロッドの一端側を覆うリテーナ被覆部と、このリテーナ被覆部の下側の中間開口部から下方に一体形成されると共に、下端に前記ボールピンの軸部に嵌合される下端開口部を形成した円筒状のシール本体とで形成し、前記リテーナ被覆部の上側の上端開口部の周囲及び前記中間開口部の周囲に密閉用の凸部をそれぞれ形成したことを特徴とするボールジョイントのシール構造。
