Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily detachable sunshade covering a windshield of an automobile in which light shielding density is enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: The sunshade has a cutout (an open window) at the center of an upper end to prevent a rearview mirror from being covered when the sunshade is crossed over the rearview mirror. The cutout is covered with a separately manufactured open window cover and the upper end of a sunshade body is put along the end of a window frame. Description

The present invention relates to an awning that is mainly attached to the inner side of a front glass window of a vehicle such as an automobile, and relates to an awning that has a high degree of light shielding and can be easily attached and detached.

Conventionally, a thin sheet of aluminum foil is vertically folded and folded. While spreading it, the suction cups provided at about three places in the upper part are pressed against the glass surface.

When the folded awning is installed while being spread out, the central part of the upper side is recessed into a cove shape, and the fold of the awning sheet does not extend completely, so that the portions do not have good light shielding. If the suction cup and glass surface are dirty with dust, it cannot be installed. As the frequency of removal increases, the removal of the suction cup and separation from the light shielding sheet become normal. In addition, it takes more time to remove the suction cups.
The present invention solves the above-described problems, selects and ensures light shielding, and is easily removed.

As a premise, several things are made according to the size of the window frame.
1 For easy storage and reflection of sunlight, make it a folded piece and use aluminum foil.
2 Use a thin and light plate to prevent the sunscreen from sagging in the middle of the vertical surface.
3 At the center of the upper end of the awning, provide a horizontal width of the rearview mirror and a vertically long cut (open window) that extends from the edge of the window frame to the lower side of the rearview mirror.
4. Create a separate window cover wider than the notch (open window).
5. The corner at the upper right end of the casement window cover is suspended (hooked) to the outside of the upper end corner of the main body part on the right side of the cut portion (opening window).
6 At the upper left end and lower right end of the casement cover, provide hooks (hook-like stops) to securely cover and fasten the notch.
7 A horizontal fold along the vertical fold of the main body is provided in the casement window cover for easy storage and folding into the main body.
8. When the cut part (opening window) passes over the rearview mirror, hook the upper left end of the window opening cover on the right side of the upper left end.
9 Along the upper edge of the awning body along the window frame, support the movable shading plates of the driver's and passenger's seats by tilting them downward.
The present invention is an automotive front window shade that is excellent in light shielding and easy to attach and detach.

    Each time the present invention is used, the degree of shading is felt to be large, and the attachment and removal can be performed quickly and easily.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below.
It is assumed that objects of several sizes are made according to the difference in the size of the window frame.

2 Use a light and thin plate that does not dent in the middle of the vertical surface of the sunshade.

7. A horizontal fold along the vertical fold of the main body is provided at the normal (hanging) position in which the window cover is housed in the case. (Fig. 3) (Fig. 4)
8 Attach the hooked portion of the left upper end of the remaining window cover to the upper end of the left end of the sunshade body with a single point stop and hook on the right side of the cutout portion (opening window) of the sunshade body. (FIG. 4) (FIG. 5) (5)
9 Along the left and right sides of the upper end of the sunshade body along the window frame, support the movable light shielding plates (FIG. 6) (10) of both the driver seat and the passenger seat by tilting downward.
The present invention has the above configuration.
When using (attaching and removing) the present invention,
1 At the beginning of the installation, place the awning in the center of the awning on the front window with the notch in the center facing upward, and with the side surface with the window cover attached as a glass surface.
2 Widen the notch (opening window) according to the width of the rearview mirror.
3 Similarly, at the place beyond the rearview mirror, remove the right lower hook (hanging on the upper right end of the main body) (5) with the right finger of the right window cover.
4 Next, similarly, with the right finger, pull the hooked portion at the upper left end of the open window cover (the end (5) hanging downward) and hang it on the upper left end of the cut portion (open window) (FIG. 2). (Fig. 4)
5 After that, the entire upper end portion of the shade is supported along the window frame by tilting the movable light shielding plates (FIG. 6) (10) on both the driver's seat and the passenger seat side downward.
6 To remove, return the shading plate to its original position, and move the awning body forward from the rearview mirror.
7. Place the hooked part of the casement cover in its original position and fold the entire awning.

Claims (4)

  At the center of the upper part of the folding sunshade body, a vertically long space extending from the upper end of the glass surface to the lower side of the rearview mirror and a horizontal width notch (opening window) exceeding its lateral width are provided. Cover the cutout part with a separate window cover.
