(ロ)上部冷却機構(8)及び上面加熱部(5)を設けた概略円筒状の上面加圧部(9)を内空間(10)の上部に設け、上下方向に動作可能な可動外筒(17)を上面加圧部(9)の外部に設ける。
(ハ)6面を断熱材等で断熱され、構造材で補強された内壁(16)の外側に脱臭フィルタ(13)及び送風機(14)を備えた外空間(11)を設け更に外側には開閉扉のついた主に金属製の外壁(12)を設ける。
(ニ)内容物より熱特性の優れた材質でできた外容器(1)を下面受け座(3)にもうける。
(ホ)内空間の規定の高さの位置に複数の方向より中心方向に動く折り込み用腕(15)を設ける。
本発明は以上のような構成で、これを使用するときは、減容の対象となる物質である廃棄物(2)が収容された外容器(1)を下面受け座(3)に設置し、開閉扉を閉じることにより、下面加熱部(4)上面加熱部(5)が動作し、更に可動外筒(17)の下降、昇降機構(6)の上昇により廃棄物(2)が下面及び上面から温められながら溶解し、可動外筒(17)及び外容器(1)の底に固まりとなりたまる。この後冷却機構(8)の作動及び昇降機構(6)の下降により冷却され溶解した廃棄物(2)から遠ざかる。この後折り込み用腕(15)が外容器(1)の上部を折り込み蓋を形成し、再度上面加熱部(5)の昇温及び昇降機構(6)による上昇動作に伴い折り込まれた部位が相互に、更に溶解した廃棄物(2)と熱容着される。
この後内空間(10)の内部の空気が脱臭及び冷却のために送風機(14)及び上部冷却機構(8)により撹拌される。
この際外壁(12)の内外に放熱用のフインを設けてもよい、外容器(1)は金属製でもよいし、部分的に金属を用いてもよい。加熱部には熱線ヒーターや赤外線ヒーター、電磁誘導加熱、熱風等を用いてもよい。加圧方向は上面のみからでもよい。上下の加熱部の表面形状は凹凸を設けたものでもよい。
下面加熱部(4)は用いなくても良いし補助的に用いる方法でも良い。
上部冷却機構(8)の代わりに廃棄物の表面に付着しにくい部材を用いて、廃棄物(2)との分離を行ってもよい。
容器の折り込みの際には加熱動作により容器の軟化を補助する方法を用いてもよい。折り込み用腕(15)は下面加熱部(4)と独立した形態でもよいし、折り込み用腕(15)の数を減らし下面受け座(3)に回転機構を設けてもよい。
