Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a biosensor test strip management system and method. In particular, the present invention relates to a biosensor test piece management system and method for avoiding a user from performing a test measurement using a biosensor test piece whose validity date has passed in the expiration date management of the biosensor test piece.
On the other hand, the quality of the biosensor specimen is one of the important predisposing factors that influence the accuracy of the inspection measurement. In general, after the production of the test piece is completed, the manufacturer gives calibration data to the test piece at the same time based on the chemical and physical properties of the test piece, thereby obtaining a more accurate analysis result. However, the biosensor test piece is affected by the environment, and its chemical and physical characteristics are likely to change over time, resulting in an error in analysis results or a loss of effectiveness.
In addition to paying attention to the storage of the biosensor test piece, a “shelf life” and an “opening shelf life” are set, and both are managed by the user.
The “storage expiration” starts counting from the time of manufacture of the test piece, and the start date of the “opening expiration date” is determined by the user's first opening use. However, due to the carelessness of the user, an already expired test piece is unknowingly applied, causing deviations in the analysis results and influencing the health status of the examinee.
For the convenience of writing, the “valid date” in the text refers to the latest date and time of both the “retention date” and “open date”.
In order to meet the needs for the expiration date management described above, the present inventor repeated research and study based on many years of research and practical experience, and developed the biosensor test piece management system and method of the present invention.
The present invention provides a biosensor test strip management system and method that solves the above-described structural problems.
