Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a timepiece component and a timepiece having the timepiece component.
In recent years, composite plating in which fine particles are mixed in metal plating by mixing insoluble fine particles in a normal electroplating bath or chemical plating bath and co-depositing with the metal is known. In composite plating, by selecting metal plating and fine particles, plating having excellent hardness, wear resistance, lubricity and the like can be coated (for example, see Patent Document 1).
In the composite plating described in Patent Document 1, the electroplating process is performed by adjusting the composite plating solution by mixing brightener, polyacrylic acid, and carbon nanotubes in a watt bath mainly composed of nickel sulfate and nickel chloride. By applying, carbon plating as fine particles can be mixed into nickel plating as metal plating, and a composite plating having a high hardness and a smooth surface can be coated.
By the way, conventionally, a timepiece that moves the hands using energy such as a battery or a spring is known. Such a timepiece uses a frictional sliding portion that slides in contact with other timepiece components, or a timepiece component having a switching portion that switches a contact state with other timepiece components according to the operation of the timepiece. Yes.
Here, the friction sliding part and the switching part are easily worn because they are in point contact with other timepiece parts, so that oil dedicated to the timepiece is injected to provide wear resistance and lubricity. In order to retain the oil dedicated to the watch, for example, by coating the friction sliding part and the switching part with a fluorine-based polymer, etc., the oil retention is improved to prevent the oil from scattering and flowing. Processing is in progress.
However, even when the oil sliding prevention treatment is performed on the friction sliding portion and the switching portion, the oil retention is reduced and the oil splatters and flows in long-term use. Therefore, there is a problem that it is necessary to perform disassembly cleaning and lubrication, and to perform oil diffusion prevention treatment again in order to improve oil retention.
An object of the present invention is to provide a timepiece component that improves the oil retaining property of the friction sliding portion and the switching portion, and can be used for a long period of time without performing oil diffusion prevention treatment again, and the timepiece component. Is to provide a watch.
The present inventor has found that the oil retaining property can be improved by coating a composite plating in which a carbon nanotube is combined with a metal plating on a friction sliding portion or a switching portion of a timepiece part. Plating is the creation of the present invention that allows the watch to be used for a long period of time without deteriorating the oil retaining property and without performing the oil diffusion preventing process again.
Specifically, the timepiece component of the present invention has a friction sliding portion that slides in contact with another timepiece component, or a timepiece having a switching portion that switches a contact state with the other timepiece component in accordance with the operation of the timepiece. In the component, the contact surface of the friction sliding portion or the switching portion is coated with a composite plating in which carbon nanotubes are mixed with metal plating, and oil is injected.
According to such a configuration, the frictional sliding part of the timepiece part or the contact surface of the switching part is coated with the composite plating in which carbon nanotubes are mixed into the metal plating, and the oil is injected. The oil retaining property of the moving part or the switching part can be improved, and the watch can be used for a long time without performing the oil diffusion prevention process again.
In the present invention, the metal plating is preferably nickel plating.
According to such a configuration, since nickel is a metal suitable for electroplating, it is possible to easily coat composite plating on a watch part by electroplating. Moreover, the metal of a timepiece part can be rust-proofed by coat | covering with nickel metal.
In the present invention, the nickel plating is preferably coated by electroplating.
According to such a configuration, the electroplating process coats the friction sliding portion or the fine irregularities on the contact surface of the switching portion, so that the friction coefficient is reduced to reduce wear resistance and lubrication. Can be improved.
In the present invention, the nickel plating preferably has a film thickness of 2 μm or more and 20 μm or less.
That is, when the thickness of the nickel plating is less than 2 μm, carbon nanotubes cannot be sufficiently mixed into the nickel plating, so that the composite plating cannot be applied to the watch part. On the other hand, when the thickness of the nickel plating is larger than 20 μm, the variation in the thickness of the nickel plating becomes large, and the dimensional accuracy required for the timepiece part cannot be maintained. Therefore, the nickel plating preferably has a film thickness of 2 μm or more and 20 μm or less.
In the present invention, the carbon nanotubes preferably have a length of 10 μm or more and 20 μm or less.
A part of the carbon nanotubes in the vicinity of the surface of the metal plating film is embedded in the metal plating film, and the rest is exposed on the surface of the metal plating film to form a carbon nanotube layer. In the composite plating, the carbon nanotube layer is formed to improve the oil retaining property of the friction sliding portion or the switching portion.
For this reason, when the length of the carbon nanotube is shorter than 10 μm, the carbon nanotube layer cannot be sufficiently formed, so that the oil retaining property of the friction sliding portion or the switching portion cannot be sufficiently improved. In addition, when the length of the carbon nanotube is longer than 20 μm, it is possible to improve the oil retaining property of the friction sliding portion or the switching portion, but the oil retaining property corresponding to the length of the carbon nanotube is imparted. Since this is not possible, carbon nanotubes are wasted in nickel plating. Accordingly, it is preferable that the carbon nanotube has a length of 10 μm or more and 20 μm or less.
In the present invention, the composite plating is preferably coated with a dispersant, and the carbon nanotubes are mixed in the metal plating in a non-oriented manner.
Here, the dispersing agent is one that disperses fine particles in a plating bath when insoluble fine particles are mixed into a normal electroplating bath or chemical plating bath to form a composite plating film. Etc. can be adopted.
Therefore, according to such a configuration, by using a dispersant, a non-oriented carbon nanotube layer is formed on the surface of the metal plating film, so that the friction sliding portion, or the contact surface of the switching portion, In any direction, oil does not flow easily, and uniform oil retention can be achieved.
In the present invention, the carbon nanotube preferably has a content of 0.05 wt% or more and 1 wt% or less with respect to the metal plating.
That is, when the content of the carbon nanotube with respect to the metal plating is less than 0.05 wt%, it is possible to improve the oil retaining property of the friction sliding portion or the switching portion, but to retain the oil dedicated to the watch. It is not possible to have sufficient oil retention. Further, when the content of the carbon nanotube with respect to the metal plating is more than 1 wt%, the content of the dispersing agent also increases, resulting in poor plating adhesion, poor plating, and plating cracking. In addition, carbon nanotubes are wasted in nickel plating. Accordingly, it is preferable that the content of the carbon nanotube is 0.05 wt% or more and 1 wt% or less with respect to the metal plating.
In the present invention, it is preferable that the friction sliding portion is a kana and a tenon of a timepiece wheel train part.
According to such a configuration, the clock train wheel parts kana and hozo are parts that rotate and slide with other timepiece parts to move the hands of the timepiece. The present invention is suitable because it is a part that is particularly easily worn among timepiece parts.
In this invention, it is preferable that the said switching part is a mandarin duck and a kanuki which comprise a needle alignment mechanism.
According to such a configuration, the mandarin duck and the cannula that constitute the hand setting mechanism are parts that change the contact state when the timepiece user performs time setting, and are particularly easily worn parts among the timepiece parts. Therefore, the present invention is suitable.
A timepiece according to the present invention includes the timepiece component described above.
According to such a configuration, it is possible to obtain the same operations and effects as those of the timepiece component described above.

FIG. 7 shows the test results when the friction coefficient is plotted on the vertical axis and the number of strokes is plotted on the horizontal axis under the test conditions described above, and lubrication is performed on the contact surface between the sample and anti-wear material. FIG. 5 is a graph F showing the test results when no lubrication was performed on the contact surface with the wear object.
When the contact surface is lubricated, as shown in the graph E, the friction coefficient is stable near 0.1 even when the number of strokes increases.
On the other hand, when the contact surface is not lubricated, as shown in graph F, when the number of strokes is in the vicinity of 0 to 300, the friction coefficient increases rapidly to near 0.6. Thereafter, the number of strokes increases and the friction coefficient gradually increases to near 0.6.
When the number of strokes is around 0 to 200, the friction coefficient suddenly increases to near 0.6 because a large force is temporarily applied due to contact with other watch parts, and the plating on the contact surface is scraped. This is considered to be because it is coarse. From this point on, it is considered that the number of strokes increases, and the shavings generated by scraping the plating on the contact surface adhere to the contact surface, increasing the friction coefficient.
In this embodiment, since the metal plate is polished and the nickel plating is applied by electroplating, the content of the
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 6, when the content of the
In addition, since the friction coefficient on the side surface of the
As described above, from the test results shown in FIG. 7, the friction coefficient is significantly lower when lubrication is performed (graph E) than when lubrication is not performed (graph F). From the above test results, it can be seen that the friction coefficient can be significantly reduced when lubrication is performed and when composite plating is performed with carbon nanotubes mixed. It is known from FIG. 6 that the carbon nanotube content is preferably in the range of 0.05 wt% to 1 wt%. That is, when lubrication is performed and the content of the carbon nanotube with respect to the metal plating is 0.05 wt% or more and 1 wt% or less, a remarkable friction reducing effect is obtained.
