Description

The present invention is arranged in a triangular portion where the escalator and the upper floor opening periphery of the building intersect, or a portion where the escalator intersects with another escalator arranged side by side. The present invention relates to a safety device for ensuring safety of a person.

In an escalator installed across the upper and lower floors of a building, in order to prevent an accident caused by a user being caught, the escalator and this escalator are one of the safety measures in accordance with the Ministry of Construction's No. 25 Sumitomo No. 25. Is called the triangular guard plate in the triangular part where the upper floor opening perimeter of the building where the building is installed intersects, or where the escalator and other escalators installed adjacent to it intersect It is obliged to install safety devices.

This triangular guard plate has a protective plate formed of acrylic resin or the like in a shape corresponding to the triangular portion, on the front end side of this protective plate, that is, on the start end side in the direction in which the escalator step and handrail travel. In addition, a cylindrical member formed by forming an acrylic resin or the like into a cylindrical shape is fixed. In the tubular member, a slit is formed along its length direction, the front end side of the protective plate is inserted into the inside of the tubular member from this slit, and the boundary portion is joined by an adhesive or the like, The protection plate and the cylindrical member are integrated.

The triangular guard plate having such a structure is provided with a suspension attached to the upper part of the protective plate, and is attached to the lower part of the upper floor of the building or the lower part of another escalator by this suspension. Yes. In addition, a reinforcing plate is joined to the upper part of the protective plate to which the lifting device is attached. By increasing the strength of the portion where the lifting device is attached with this reinforcing plate, the protective plate will fall off the lifting device and fall. Is preventing.

By the way, such a triangular guard plate can be easily touched by the user of the escalator, so it is assumed that the escalator user can be mischievous. When the lower end portion of the tube is twisted with a large force, a strong stress acts on the joint portion between the cylindrical member and the upper portion of the protective plate, the protective plate is damaged, and the protective plate and the cylindrical member are separated. It is also conceivable that the member will fall. Therefore, as a measure for preventing such inconvenience, in Patent Document 1, the reinforcing plate joined to the upper portion of the protective plate is extended and a part thereof is inserted into the cylindrical member together with the protective plate, thereby protecting the plate. It has been proposed to make the plate less susceptible to breakage.
JP 2003-20186 A

However, in the structure disclosed in Patent Document 1, although the strength of the joint portion between the tubular member and the upper part of the protective plate can be increased, the strength of the entire protective plate cannot be increased. In some cases, the protective plate may be partially damaged. Here, in order to increase the strength of the entire protective plate, for example, it is conceivable to increase the thickness of the protective plate itself or to change the material of the protective plate from acrylic resin to metal or the like. Then, the weight of the entire device will increase significantly, and it will be necessary to increase the strength of the lifting device so that it can withstand the increase in weight, and there will be a significant increase in cost. .

The present invention was devised in view of the above-described conventional circumstances, and effectively prevents damage to the protective plate by increasing the strength of the entire protective plate without causing an increase in weight or a significant cost increase. An object of the present invention is to provide a safety device for an escalator having a structure that does not easily drop even if the protective plate is damaged.

The safety device according to the present invention is a triangular portion formed by the escalator installed across the upper and lower floors of the building and the upper floor opening peripheral edge of the building, or the escalator and the other laid on the escalator. It is disposed in a triangular portion formed by an escalator, and is configured by integrating a protection plate having a shape corresponding to the triangular portion and a cylindrical member. A slit is formed in the cylindrical member along the longitudinal direction, and one end side of the protective plate is inserted into the slit, and the cylindrical member and the protective plate are integrated. In particular, in the safety device according to the present invention, the protective plate having a shape corresponding to the triangular portion is integrated with the cylindrical member in a state in which a frame-shaped reinforcing member is joined to the peripheral portion thereof, thereby the protective plate. The overall strength is improved.

According to the safety device of the present invention, the protective plate and the cylindrical member are integrated in a state where the frame-shaped reinforcing member is joined to the peripheral portion of the protective plate, resulting in an increase in weight and a significant cost increase. Therefore, the strength of the entire protective plate can be increased to effectively prevent the protective plate from being damaged, and even if the protective plate is damaged, the broken portion can be effectively prevented from falling.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

First, an escalator on which a safety device to which the present invention is applied is installed will be described. As shown in FIG. 1, the escalator is installed in a building having upper and lower floors, and has a structure in which a plurality of steps 1 connected endlessly by a chain or the like circulate and move diagonally across the upper floor and the lower floor. is there.

A pair of balustrades 2 are erected on the left and right sides of the plurality of steps 1 connected endlessly. A handrail 3 that travels in synchronization with the step 1 is disposed above the pair of balustrades 2. Below the step 1, although not shown, there is a housing portion called a truss that supports the weight of the escalator and the load of the user. Inside the housing portion, the step 1 and the handrail 3 are installed. A driving machine for driving, a step rail for guiding the movement of the step 1, a control panel, and the like are provided.

In the escalator configured as described above, a plurality of steps 1 and a pair of handrails 3 connected endlessly receive a driving force from a driving machine and move between an upper floor and a lower floor, Transport users from lower floor to upper floor or from upper floor to lower floor.

This escalator is installed on the floor of the upper floor through the opening provided on the upper floor (lower ceiling) of the building, and one end side of the opening provided on the upper floor in the middle It intersects with the periphery. The portion where the escalator and the opening periphery intersect is called a triangular portion. Moreover, as shown in FIG. 1, when another escalator is installed adjacent to this escalator in the building, these escalators cross each other in the middle. A portion where these adjacent escalators intersect is also called a triangular portion. And the safety device 10 to which this invention is applied is installed in these triangular parts. That is, the safety device 10 to which the present invention is applied is a portion where the escalator and the upper floor opening periphery of the building intersect, or a portion where the escalator and another escalator installed adjacent to the escalator intersect. It is intended to prevent an accident that a user who is installed in a certain triangular part and leans out from the balustrade 2 of the escalator is caught in the triangular part.

A specific example of the safety device 10 to which the present invention is applied is shown in FIG. The safety device 10 shown in FIG. 2 includes a protective plate 11 having a shape corresponding to the triangular portion, a frame-shaped reinforcing member 12 joined to the peripheral portion of the protective plate 11, and one end side of the protective plate 11 (see FIG. Middle left side), that is, a cylindrical member 13 that is fixed to the start end side in the direction in which the escalator step 1 and handrail 3 travel and is integrated with the protective plate 11. This safety device is swingably attached to the lower part of the upper floor of the building where the elevator is installed or the lower part of another adjacent escalator by means of a lifting tool 14 attached to the upper part of the protective plate 11. And arranged in the triangular portion.

The protective plate 11 is formed by, for example, forming a transparent resin material such as an acrylic resin into a trapezoidal plate shape corresponding to the triangular portion. As shown in FIG. 3, a frame-shaped reinforcing member 12 corresponding to the outer shape of the protective plate 11 is joined to the peripheral portion of the protective plate 11.

The reinforcing member 12 is formed in a frame shape corresponding to the outer shape of the protective plate 11 using, for example, a transparent resin material such as acrylic resin as the protective plate 11, and is bonded to the peripheral portion of the protective plate 11 with an adhesive or the like. The The thickness of the reinforcing member 12 is, for example, about the same as that of the protective plate 11, and the width of each piece of the frame is arbitrarily set so that the weight does not increase much. However, in order to enhance the strength improvement effect by the reinforcing member 12, at least one of the pieces of the frame on the side of the tubular member 13 is partially inserted into the tubular member 13 together with the protective plate 11. It is desirable to ensure a width that protrudes outside the cylindrical member 13.

Similar to the protection plate 11 and the reinforcing member 12, the cylindrical member 13 is made of a transparent resin material such as acrylic resin, and is formed in a cylindrical shape having a predetermined length. As shown in FIG. 4, a slit 15 is formed in the tubular member 13 along the longitudinal direction, and one end side of the protective plate 11 to which the reinforcing member 12 is joined is inserted from the slit 15. These are joined and integrated by, for example, injecting adhesive from the periphery of 15.

In the safety device 10 to which the present invention configured as described above is applied, the protection plate 11 having a shape corresponding to the triangular portion is integrated with the tubular member 13 in a state where the frame-shaped reinforcing member 12 is joined to the peripheral portion. Therefore, the strength of the entire protective plate 11 is improved. For example, even when the lower end portion of the tubular member 13 is intentionally twisted with a large force due to mischief of the escalator user, the protective plate 11 is effectively damaged. Can be prevented. Further, since the entire protective plate 11 is connected to the reinforcing member 12, even if the protective plate 11 is damaged, it is possible to effectively prevent the damaged portion from dropping.

Further, since the reinforcing member 12 that increases the strength of the entire protection plate 11 has a frame shape, there is no significant increase in the weight of the entire device or a significant increase in cost. Furthermore, since the reinforcing member 12 is formed of the same transparent resin material as that of the protective plate 11 and the cylindrical member 12, the safety device 10 itself and the overall design including the escalator are not affected. .

The safety device 10 described above is an example of application of the present invention, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention. For example, in the example of the safety device 10 shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the frame-shaped reinforcing member 12 joined to the peripheral portion of the protective plate 11 is a ring shape surrounding the entire periphery of the protective plate 11. And as shown in FIG. 6, it is good also as a shape which abbreviate | omitted the part corresponding to the one end side inserted in the inside of the cylindrical member 12 of the protection board 11, and was open | released by this one end side. In this case, as shown in FIG. 6, there is a step in the portion inserted into the cylindrical member 13 of the protection plate 11 due to the difference in thickness between the portion where the reinforcing member 12 is joined and the portion where it is not joined. Therefore, it is desirable that the slit 13a of the cylindrical member 13 is formed in advance in a shape corresponding to this step so that no gap is formed by this step.

In this example, compared with the case where the ring-shaped reinforcing member 12 surrounding the entire periphery of the protective plate 11 is joined to the protective plate 11, the strength of the protective plate 11 is slightly inferior, but the reinforcing member 12 is added. There is an advantage that the weight increase due to can be further suppressed. Also in this example, since the entire protective plate 11 is connected to the reinforcing member 12, even if the protective plate 11 is damaged, it is possible to effectively prevent the damaged portion from falling.

In the example described above, the reinforcing member 12 is made of the same transparent resin material as that of the protective plate 11 and the cylindrical member 13, but a material having higher strength than the protective plate 11 and the cylindrical member 13, for example, metal or the like. Alternatively, the reinforcing member 12 may be formed. In this case, further improvement in strength of the entire protective plate 11 can be expected.

Further, the color of the reinforcing member 12 may be different from that of the protective plate 11 by a method such as molding the reinforcing member 12 with a colored acrylic resin, or coloring the molded reinforcing member 12. In this case, the visual recognition level of the escalator user can be increased, and the escalator user can be more clearly recognized that the triangular portion where the safety device 10 is installed is approaching. Can be expected.

Further, in the safety device 10 described above, the protective plate 11 is configured by a single member having a shape corresponding to the triangular portion, but the protective plate 11 is divided into two or more parts as necessary. You may make it use what is.
