遊技機が設置される遊技島に幕板を開閉自在に取り付けるためのスライド式の蝶番であって、
(a)前記遊技島に固定されるベース部材と、
(b)前後方向にのびる摺動溝をそれぞれ備え、前記ベース部材の幅方向の両側に対向して設けられたガイドと、
(c)前記対向する摺動溝に摺動および回動可能に軸架されたスライド軸、前記対向するガイド同士の間隔よりも幅狭に形成され幕板をネジ留めするための複数個のネジ孔が前記スライド軸の軸方向と直交する方向に並んで設けられた幕板固定片、および前記幕板固定片の基端部から幅方向に延出して前記スライド軸と幕板固定片とを結合する連結部を備え、前記ベース部材に対し前記ガイドに沿って前後に押込みおよび引出しが可能なスライド部材と、からなり、
前記スライド部材は、スライド軸の軸周りに幕板固定片の先端部を回動させることでベース部材に対して垂下および引上げが可能であって、かつ、幕板固定片をベース部材に対して水平位置とした状態では、前記連結部とガイドとのクリアランスがスライド軸と摺動溝とのクリアランスよりも大きく、連結部とガイドとが非接触であることを特徴とする幕板開閉用蝶番。
