However, as shown in FIG. 7C, it is difficult to accurately cut the end protruding portion 45 so that the other end 42b of the cover 42 is aligned with the edge 44 of the sheet bundle 41, and the other end 42b of the cover 42 is There is a problem that the sheet bundle 41 is cut at a position shifted from the fore edge 44.

In addition, when the devices of the above Patent Documents 1 to 3 are used, paper or the like can be cut in a straight line, but the cut portion of the end protruding portion 45 of the cover 42 is accurately placed in the fore edge 44 of the sheet bundle 41. There is a problem that it is difficult to align.

An object of the present invention is to provide a binding cover cutting jig capable of accurately aligning the cut portion of the edge protruding portion of the cut cover sheet with the edge of the sheet bundle and cutting the edge protruding portion. To do.

In order to achieve the above object, the first invention is a bookbinding cover cutting jig used when cutting an end protruding part of a cover sheet to be cut out of a bundle of bound-bound books, A substrate inserted between the back surface of the cover sheet to be cut and the sheet bundle along the edge of the book, and pivotally supported at both ends of the substrate and pivoted about the shaft to sandwich the cover sheet on the top surface of the substrate The board is provided with a fore edge abutting part that comes into contact with the fore edge from the outside, and the holding plate is provided with a cutting guide part for guiding a cutting blade. In the closed state, the fore edge contact portion and the cutting guide portion are located on the same plane.

According to this, the substrate is inserted between the rear surface of the cover sheet to be cut and the sheet bundle along the case edge of the case-bound book, and the edge contact portion is brought into contact with the edge from the outside. Next, the holding plate is rotated and closed to the upper surface of the substrate, and the cover sheet to be cut is sandwiched between the holding plate and the upper surface of the substrate. In this state, by moving the cutting blade in the height direction of the book along the cutting guide portion, the cutting blade moves while being guided by the cutting guide portion, and cuts the protruding portion of the edge of the cover sheet to be cut. To do.

At the time of the above cutting, since the cutting guide portion and the fore edge contact portion are located on the same plane, the position of the cutting edge of the cutting blade guided by the cutting guide portion becomes the same as the position of the fore edge of the sheet bundle. The cutting part of the edge part of the cut cover sheet coincides with the position of the edge of the sheet bundle, so that the edge part can be cut accurately and easily so that the edge part of the cover sheet is aligned with the edge. .

In the second aspect of the present invention, the presser plate is made of metal, and a magnet for attracting the presser plate is provided on the substrate.
According to this, when the presser plate is turned and closed to the upper surface of the substrate and the cover sheet to be cut is sandwiched between the presser plate and the upper surface of the substrate, the magnet adsorbs the presser plate, so that the presser plate is closed. It is fixed by and can prevent inadvertent opening. Thereby, a to-be-cut cover sheet can be clamped reliably.

In the third invention, a cutting guide groove for guiding the cutting edge of the cutting blade is formed in the substrate, and the cutting edge of the cutting blade guided by the cutting guide portion is fitted into the cutting guide groove at the time of cutting.
According to this, at the time of cutting, the cutting blade moves while being guided by the cutting guide portion, the cutting edge of the cutting blade is fitted into the cutting guide groove and guided by the cutting guide groove, and the end protruding portion is covered. Cut from the cut cover. Therefore, the cutting edge of the cutting blade can be prevented from wobbling, and the end protruding portion can be more accurately cut so that the end of the cover sheet to be cut is aligned with the edge of the sheet bundle.

As described above, according to the present invention, when the end portion of the cover sheet to be cut is cut, the cutting guide portion and the fore edge contact portion are located on the same plane. The end protruding portion can be cut accurately and easily so as to align with the fore edge.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, a recess 24 is formed over the entire length of the upper surface 11 a of the substrate 11, and a magnet 25 that attracts the presser plate 13 is provided in the recess 24. As shown in FIG. 3B, in the state where the presser plate 13 is rotated in the closing direction S and the presser plate 13 is closed, the protective plate 21 of the presser plate 13 contacts the upper surface 11a of the substrate 11, and As shown in FIG. 6, the fore edge contact surface 16 and the cutting guide surface 22 are set to be located on the same plane.

As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, a recessed surface 27 that is one step lower than the upper surface 11 a is formed on one side in the width direction of the substrate 11. An L-shaped thin protective plate 28 is applied from the depressed surface 27 to one side surface of the substrate 11. Further, a cutting guide groove 29 surrounded by the step surface 31 that falls from the upper surface 11 a to the recessed surface 27, the side surface of the protective plate 28, and the recessed surface 27 is formed in the substrate 11 in the length direction. The cutting guide groove 29 guides the cutting edge 5a of the cutting blade 5, and is set so that the step surface 31 and the cutting guide surface 22 are positioned on the same plane with the presser plate 13 closed at the time of cutting. The cutting edge 5 a of the cutting blade 5 guided by the cutting guide surface 22 is fitted into the cutting guide groove 29.

Hereinafter, the operation of the above configuration will be described.
As shown in FIGS. 1B and 5, the substrate 11 of the cutting jig 10 is inserted between the back surface of the cover sheet 2 to be cut and the sheet bundle 3 along the edge 4 of the case-bound book 1. The fore edge contact surface 16 is brought into contact with the fore edge 4 from the outside.

Next, the presser plate 13 is rotated in the closing direction S to be closed, and the cover sheet 2 to be cut is sandwiched between the presser plate 13 and the upper surface 11 a of the substrate 11. At this time, as shown in FIG. 5B, since the magnet 25 attracts the presser plate 13, the presser plate 13 is fixed in a closed state and can be prevented from being opened carelessly. Thereby, the to-be-cut cover 2 can be clamped reliably.

The cutting blade 5 is moved in the height direction H of the book 1 along the cutting guide surface 22 as shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. Accordingly, the cutting blade 5 moves while being guided by the cutting guide surface 22, the cutting edge 5 a of the cutting blade 5 is fitted into the cutting guide groove 29 and guided by the cutting guide groove 29, and the end protruding portion 2 a is Cut from the cover sheet 2 to be cut.

At the time of the cutting, as shown in FIG. 6, the cutting guide surface 22 and the fore edge contact surface 16 are located on the same plane, so the position of the cutting edge 5 a of the cutting blade 5 guided by the cutting guide surface 22 is The position is the same as the position of the edge 4 (side edge) of the sheet bundle 3, and the cut portion of the edge protruding portion 2 a coincides with the position of the edge 4 so that the edge of the cover sheet 2 to be cut is aligned with the edge 4. Further, the end protruding portion 2a can be cut accurately and easily.

Furthermore, since the cutting edge 5a of the cutting blade 5 is guided by the cutting guide groove 29 as described above, it is possible to prevent the cutting edge 5a of the cutting blade 5 from wobbling in the blade thickness direction, and the end protruding portion 2a. Can be cut even more accurately.

After cutting off the end protruding portion 2a, as shown by the phantom line in FIG. 5B, the presser plate 13 is rotated in the opening direction O against the attracting force of the magnet 25 and opened. Is removed outwardly from between the back surface of the cut cover 2 and the sheet bundle 3.

In the above embodiment, as shown in FIG. 6, the cutting guide surface 22 is formed on the side surface of the protection plate 21, but the protection plate 21 is not provided and the cutting guide surface 22 is formed on the outer surface of the guide piece 20. May be.

In the above embodiment, the depression surface 27 is formed on the substrate 11 and the protection plate 28 is provided on the depression surface 27 to form the cutting guide groove 29. However, the depression surface 27 and the protection plate 28 are not provided, and the substrate The cutting guide groove 29 may be directly formed on the upper surface 11a of the 11.
