The present invention relates to an apparatus for flowing air in a flow path in which an ion atmosphere is formed in order to remove a substance mainly composed of liquid or solid particles floating in the air and purifying the same.
Substances consisting of liquid and solid particles floating in the air pollute the air and have an undesirable effect on the human body, both physically and mentally. Cigarette smoke is a major removal target in air purification because of its strong odor, strong adhesion, and the magnitude of the effects of passive smoking. Needless to say, various techniques for removing suspended substances have been proposed for the purpose of air purification. For example, the invention of Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-321661 supplies negative ions uniformly indoors. For this purpose, a configuration is disclosed in which the direction in which the tip of the discharge electrode faces is opened at an angle of 15 to 45 degrees. The object of the invention is not limited to cigarette smoke, but is intended to eliminate unevenness of negative ion concentration and is not more than that.
The idea of Utility Model Registration No. 3109054 is that an unpleasant odor caused by cigarette smoke can be removed without using any chemical substances or ozone. For this purpose, an air filter, two kinds of metals and different kinds of materials made of ore and ceramic are arranged in the casing, and a negative ion generator and an ultraviolet radiation device are arranged. However, in the case of this idea, there is no technically new matter, and it seems that it is only a combination of many kinds of substances and devices.
On the other hand, the invention of Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-43629 is intended to provide an air cleaner that is quiet and can efficiently suck cigarette smoke. In the invention of the same number, an air flow from the suction port to the ejection port is generated by the ionic wind generated in the ionization section, and the indoor air is circulated. Then, a suction attracting plate extending in front of the suction port to the ionization part is provided along the side edge of the suction port, and the tobacco smoke drifting in front of the suction port is guided to the suction port. However, this does not improve the air cleaner itself, and only guides the airflow in a part of the four circumferences around the suction port.
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above-mentioned points, and its problem is to float including cigarette smoke and, similarly, fine water droplets and hygroscopic particles, mist, and solid particles, dust. It is to enable the material to be collected extremely efficiently by ions. Another object of the present invention is to ensure that suspended substances including mist such as cigarette smoke and dust are guided to an ion atmosphere and collected.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention is an apparatus for purifying air by flowing air through a flow path in which an ionic atmosphere is formed and removing floating substances composed of liquid or solid particles floating in the air. A main body in which a pair of electrode plates are arranged on the inner surface of a member forming a flat insertion hole to form a socket part having a flat insertion hole, and a plurality of the socket parts are arranged in parallel; In order to form an ion atmosphere with a polarity different from that of the charged polarity and collect suspended substances in the air, the ion generator connected to the pair of electrode plates and the flat insertion hole are inserted. The filter includes a replaceable filter made of paper, and an air suction port for sucking air containing at least floating substances and a cover having an air guiding portion for a flat insertion hole. The inside is a flow path through which air flows, and has numerous projections provided so as to protrude from the inner surface of the filter into the flow path, and the pair of electrode plates are opposed to each other by insertion into the socket portion. The outer surface of the filter can be contacted with the inner surface, and measures are taken so that suspended substances adhere to the surface of the sheet material by flowing air inside the filter in the ion atmosphere formed by starting the ion generator. It is a thing.
The present invention has an object of collecting floating substances mainly containing fine water droplets and hygroscopic particles mist and solid particles of dust by ions. Therefore, it is considered that the air containing the suspended matter flows through a certain flow path filled with ions and undergoes a process of combining with ions having a polarity opposite to that of the suspended matter. I think that the idea of collecting suspended substances using these ions is almost the same as that of conventional air purification using ions.
Such an apparatus of the present invention has a main body, an ion generator, a filter and a cover. The main body has a flat insertion hole, and on the inner surface of the member that forms the flat insertion hole, a pair of electrode plates are arranged at a distance to form a socket portion, and a plurality of the socket portions are arranged in parallel. It is arranged in. In the present invention, in order to form an ionic atmosphere in the flow path through which air flows, a pair of electrode plates are arranged at predetermined intervals on the inner surface of the flat insertion hole of the socket portion. Between the opposing inner surfaces of the pair of electrode plates is a flat insertion hole, and this flat insertion hole is an insertion hole for the filter.
A plurality of the socket parts are arranged in parallel on the main body. Since it is possible to increase / decrease the number of socket portions, the number of socket portions can be easily set according to the amount of air to be processed by the apparatus of the present invention. In other words, it is possible to have an arbitrary processing capability according to the usage from personal use to several people use.
The ion generator is connected to a pair of electrode plates. Thereby, an ion atmosphere having a polarity different from the charged polarity of the suspended matter is formed between the pair of electrode plates to collect suspended matter in the air. At that time, one ion generator may be provided for each pair of electrode plates, or a single ion generator may be used for all pairs of electrode plates. Other than that. Any ion generator can be used. However, it is most desirable to use an ion generator developed by the applicant and having a pumping circuit connected to the primary side of the main transformer because it is small and high performance.
The ion generator uses, for example, a direct current power source as an energy source, and a high voltage generated by energizing the pumping circuit to the secondary coil of the main transformer by connecting a pumping circuit to the primary coil of the main transformer. A pumping circuit for further boosting the voltage, connecting an ion electrode for outputting a high voltage boosted by the multiplier circuit, and connecting a grounding wire to the secondary coil of the main transformer. A voltage stabilization circuit for stabilizing the primary side voltage is provided in the previous stage of the circuit.
The pumping circuit can be configured to have two NPN transistors arranged so that the circuit leading to the emitter is connected at the midpoint.
The voltage stabilization circuit includes a diode connected to a circuit that leads to the emitters of two transistors, a resistor that is connected to a circuit that leads to a base, and the diode and the resistor connected to the secondary side so that the primary of the main transformer The side can be configured to have a transformer connected to the primary side.
A diode can be inserted in the forward direction between the secondary coil of the main transformer and the ground wire.
A pumping circuit, a voltage stabilizing circuit, a main transformer, and a multiplier circuit that communicate with the DC power supply can be attached to one surface of the circuit board, and a space between these circuit elements can be filled with an insulating resin.
It is assumed that the filter is replaceable using paper as a material inserted into the flat insertion hole. The filter has a flow path through which air flows, and has numerous protrusions provided so as to protrude from the inner surface of the filter into the flow path. The outer surface of the filter is provided so as to be in contact with the inner surfaces facing each other. It is desirable that the sheet material disposed inside the pair of electrode plates be able to contact the electrode plate entirely, and the sheet material is considered to function like a dielectric with respect to the electrode plates.
The sheet material needs to be an electrical insulator. In the present invention, a paper material is suitable as a sheet material. Paper is various, but in the case of the present invention, since the sheet material is used as a filter for trapping suspended substances including mainly mist and dust, it is easy to process and close to the electrode plate. It is desirable to be as inexpensive as possible for disposable use. In addition, in order to grasp the repair status of suspended solids, it is also a significant condition that the color is close to white or the color changes significantly due to collection.
Between the sheet materials are air flow paths through which air actually flows, but innumerable protrusions protruding from the surfaces toward the inside of the flow paths are formed on the surfaces of the sheet materials. Whether or not the amount of suspended matter collected has increased remarkably can be confirmed by an increase in color concentration on the surface of the sheet material to which the collected particles are attached. It was confirmed in the development process of the present invention that by providing innumerable protrusions on the surface of the sheet material, a significant increase in the density of the color peculiar to the substance is observed with the increase of suspended matter trapped on the sheet material surface. Has been. The present invention has been made based on the discovery of this phenomenon.
It is not yet clear how these countless protrusions physically act in the suspended matter collection mechanism. It is presumed that the stirring of the air flow may also cause the adhesion to the sheet material surface to increase. However, it is also observed that the airflow fluctuates near the tip of the protrusion, and it seems that this phenomenon contributes to the collection of suspended solids.
How to provide an infinite number of protrusions is basically a matter that can be freely determined. For example, an infinite number of protrusions can be provided by electrostatic flocking means. Among them, when paper is used as the sheet material, a hole with uneven crease is formed on the edge by piercing the surface of the paper, and the irregular crease is used as countless protrusions. Thus, the collecting effect of the sheet material on which the protrusions are formed in this way is good. In addition, when a hole with a crease is formed by piercing the surface of the paper, etc., a cover sheet made of similar paper is overlapped on the outside of the paper, and the hole is closed. It is desirable to adopt a configuration (the invention according to claim 2).
The flow path of the air between the sheet materials made of paper constitutes a filter independent of the electrode plate. After use, it is discarded while collecting suspended substances in the air. This is desirable in practice because it is interchangeable. The suspended substances in the air, including mist and dust, collected by the filter are always taken out of the machine by replacing the filter, so they do not remain in the air cleaner to which the present invention is applied. Odor is less likely to occur.
Furthermore, the apparatus of the present invention includes a cover having an air suction port for sucking air containing at least a suspended substance and an air guiding portion for a flat insertion hole. The cover is necessary as a means for reliably guiding the air containing the suspended matter such as cigarette smoke to the filter which is the air purifying unit, and the air suction port is an opening surrounded by four circumferences. For example, a person who smokes becomes an opening portion for blowing exhalation toward the person. The air guiding portion is a means for guiding the air sucked into the air suction port to a flat insertion hole, and a filter is set in the insertion hole.
However, the cover is composed of an air suction port for guiding air into the flat insertion hole of the socket portion, a hood portion having an air guiding portion, and a main body cover portion covering the main body including the ion generating device. It can be formed so as to be separable from the cover portion (the invention according to claim 3). In other words, the cover may cover the entire apparatus, but it may be composed of a plurality of parts. In the case of a plurality of parts, if the hood part is separated from the main body, the socket can be removed by removing only the hood. The filter can be replaced by exposing the flat insertion hole of the part (the invention according to claim 4).
Furthermore, the apparatus of the present invention has a configuration including an intake fan for sucking and purifying air and then discharging it (the invention according to claim 4). This intake fan is for allowing the air having the optimum speed and capacity for the purification process to be sucked from the air suction port and passed through the filter. The number of the air suction ports and the intake fan is not limited to one, and any number may be provided.
Since the present invention is configured and operates as described above, the suspended matter containing cigarette smoke and mist, which is mainly fine water droplets and hygroscopic particles, and dust, which is solid particles. In an exchangeable filter made of paper that is inserted into a flat insertion hole and used in an ion atmosphere, the filter can be collected extremely efficiently. Moreover, according to this invention, there exists an effect that the floating substance containing mist and dust like tobacco smoke can be reliably guide | induced to an ion atmosphere, and can be collected.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the illustrated embodiments. The

The pair of

The case where the action of the
When air containing suspended solids flows into the
