Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins, panty liners, incontinence pads, etc., for absorbing menstrual blood, vaginal discharge, urine, and the like, and more specifically, absorbent articles having wing portions on both sides of the absorbent main body. And an efficient manufacturing method thereof.
Conventionally, as absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins, panty liners, incontinence pads, etc., a vertically long absorbent main body having a liquid-retaining absorbent layer and a liquid-impermeable leak-proof layer, on both sides of the absorbent main body What has a pair of wing part provided is known.
The wing portion prevents misalignment and twisting of the absorbent article during use, and prevents the underwear such as shorts for fixing the absorbent article from becoming dirty.
In general, the wing portion is provided with an adhesive portion on one side of the non-skin side, and when the absorbent article is fixed to the shorts or the like, the wing portion is bent along the side edge of the crotch portion, and the shorts are interposed through the adhesive portion. It is fixed to the non-skin facing surface such as.
The structure of the wing part in the conventional absorbent article comprises a non-woven sheet or perforated film constituting the skin contact surface of the absorbent main body and a surface opposite to the skin contact surface of the absorbent main body. A liquid-impermeable sheet made of resin film is extended outward in the width direction of the absorbent main body to form a wing part, and an adhesive is applied to the liquid-impermeable sheet side of the wing part. Most of them are provided with an adhesive portion.
Moreover, in patent document 1, in order to improve the touch of a wing part and air permeability, the absorbent article which comprised the wing part only from the nonwoven fabric is proposed.
In an absorbent article having a wing part composed of a conventional liquid-impermeable sheet and a non-woven sheet, when the wing part is wound around and fixed to the shorts, the folded part becomes hard and the base part of the foot is improper. There is a problem that the breathability is inferior because the film is provided with a pleasant feeling.
Moreover, like the absorbent article of patent document 1, when a wing part is comprised with one nonwoven fabric, although the softness and air permeability of a wing part are improved, it is comprised with one soft nonwoven fabric. For this reason, there has been a problem that the rigidity and waist of the nonwoven fabric are not obtained for neatly winding the wing part into the shorts, and it is difficult to smoothly perform the operation of winding the wing part into the shorts and mounting it.
Patent Document 1 discloses that a region excluding the base portion of the wing portion is subjected to a planar heat embossing process to form a nonwoven fabric in that portion, thereby improving the fixing property between the anti-slipping adhesive and the nonwoven fabric. Are listed. This heat embossing improves the fixability of the anti-displacement adhesive, but in order to emboss and emboss the entire thickness direction of the nonwoven fabric constituting the wing part, the wing nonwoven fabric becomes thinner and harder, the wing part feels soft, Operability is impaired.
An object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article that can eliminate the various disadvantages of the above-described prior art and an efficient manufacturing method thereof.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described based on preferred embodiments with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a sanitary napkin 1 that is an embodiment of the absorbent article of the present invention has a vertically long structure including a liquid-retaining
As shown in FIG. 2, the
Each
As shown in FIG. 2, the skin side and the non-skin side are the same side as the skin contact surface side (surface sheet side) of the absorbent main body 4 when the
The unembossed
The unembossed
The fiber web used for manufacturing these nonwoven fabrics can be manufactured by a card machine or an airlaid method in which fibers are stacked in air.
Among these, a spunlace nonwoven fabric and an air-through nonwoven fabric are preferable from the viewpoint of touch, and an air-through nonwoven fabric is more preferable in consideration of the operability and cost of wings due to a slight stretchability.
The constituent fiber of the unembossed
Among these fibers, polyethylene / polypropylene composite fibers and polyethylene / polyester composite fibers are preferable from the viewpoint of touch and nonwoven fabric surface strength. The content ratio of the polyethylene / polypropylene composite fiber and the polyethylene / polyester composite fiber in the unembossed nonwoven fabric is preferably 30 to 100% by weight, particularly 50 to 100% by weight.
The unembossed
By making the basis weight of the unembossed
The thickness etc. of the unembossed
[Thickness]
A measurement sample (small piece of laminated nonwoven fabric 61) is cut out from the wing part. When the sample is cut out, the wing portion is cut at a portion where the adhesive 65 is not applied (for example, line AA in FIG. 1), and passes through the plurality of embossed
The cut sample was loaded with a flat plate so that a load of 2.5 g / cm 2 was obtained. As shown in FIG. 3A, the cut surface is observed with a microscope, and the thickness (L1) of the upper unembossed nonwoven fabric is measured. The thickness of 10 points in total was calculated, and the average value of 10 points was taken as the thickness of the upper unembossed nonwoven fabric. Depending on the type of non-woven fabric, there may be a portion of the surface with fiber fluff, but the measurement is made without including the thickness of the surface of the non-woven fabric.
[Basis weight]
The basis weight was measured by cutting the nonwoven fabric into a size of 10 cm × 10 cm, measuring its weight, and converting it to a weight of about 1 m 2 . Ten samples were measured, and the average value was taken as the basis weight.
When measuring from a product with wings, the laminated nonwoven fabric constituting the wing portion is cut out from the product, and only the upper unembossed nonwoven fabric is peeled off from the laminated nonwoven fabric, and the area and weight of the unembossed nonwoven fabric are measured. From the measured weight and area, it was calculated as a weight of about 1 m 2 . Ten samples were measured, and the average value was taken as the basis weight. When the adhesive and the pressure-sensitive adhesive are adhered to the upper unembossed nonwoven fabric, the pressure-sensitive adhesive is dissolved and removed with an organic solvent such as toluene, and then measured.
〔density〕
The density is the apparent density of the nonwoven fabric. The density was calculated from the basis weight and thickness measured as described above.
For example, if the basis weight is 20 g / m 2 and the thickness is 1 mm,
Density = basis weight / 1 m 2 around nonwoven volume = 20 g / (thickness 0.1cm × 100cm × 100cm) = a 0.02 g / cm 3.
As the embossed
The embossed
The embossed
In order to improve the flexibility of the wing portion, the embossed
The embossed
It is preferable that the embossed
Further, the number of embossments per area of 10 cm 2 is preferably about 5 to 50, and more preferably about 10 to 30. The area of each of the embossed
Further, for the purpose of enhancing the transferability of the anti-slipping adhesive 65, the entire surface corresponding to the anti-slipping adhesive 65 may be embossed.

For example, if the basis weight is 20 g / m 2 and the average thickness of L2 and L3 is 1 mm,
Density = basis weight / 1 m 2 around nonwoven volume = 20 g / (thickness 0.1cm × 100cm × 100cm) = a 0.02 g / cm 3.
From the viewpoint of improving the wrapping property of the
Unembossed nonwoven fabric 62: The elongation at 100 g / 50 mm load in the same direction as the width direction of the absorbent main body (Y direction in FIG. 1) is 10% or more, and particularly preferably 15 to 50%.
Embossed nonwoven fabric 63: Elongation at 100 g / 50 mm load in the same direction as the width direction of the absorbent main body (Y direction in FIG. 1) is 8% or less, particularly preferably 1 to 6%.
<Measurement method of elongation at 100 g / 50 mm load>
The same direction as the width direction of the absorbent main body is the direction in which the wing portion extends.
(1) The nonwoven fabric used for the upper layer and the lower layer is cut and measured so that the length in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the absorbent main body is 50 mm and the length in the same direction as the width direction of the absorbent main body is 100 mm. A sample.
Using a Tensilon tensile tester, the measurement sample of the nonwoven fabric was stopped between 50 mm chucks so that the longitudinal direction was the tensile direction, pulled at a pulling speed of 300 mm / min, and stretched when pulled with a load of 100 g. Find the degree. That is, elongation at 100 g / 50 mm load = (stretched distance at 100 g load / nonwoven length 50 mm before stretching) × 100 (%). For example, if the extended distance is 6 mm when the weight is 100 g, the elongation when the weight is 100 g is 6/50 × 100 = 12%. The average value of N = 5 is obtained. “50 mm” when 100 g / 50 mm is applied is the width of the sample, and when the width of the sample is less than this, it is converted to a value of 50 mm width.
(2) When obtaining from a completed napkin or the like, the upper layer nonwoven fabric and the lower layer nonwoven fabric are peeled off cleanly, and the portion to which the adhesive 65 is attached is evaluated by dissolving and removing the adhesive with an organic solvent such as toluene. Moreover, when the required dimension cannot be taken, the following is performed. For example, when the width is only 25 mm, the weight corresponding to 100 g / 50 mm weight is 20 g / 10 mm, and when the width is 25 mm, the elongation at the time of 50 g / 25 mm weight is obtained. When the length is not 100 mm, for example, when the length is only 50 mm, the measurement is performed with the tensilon chuck narrowed. For example, in the case of a length of 50 mm, it is better to sandwich 10 mm or more in each case so that the chuck does not come off.
If the elongation when pulled at a load of 100 g / 50 mm is 3 mm, the elongation is 3 mm / 30 mm × 100 = 10%.

In the laminated

Since all the nonwoven fabrics constituting the laminated
As the hydrophobic synthetic fiber, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene / polypropylene composite fiber, polyethylene / polyester composite fiber, or the like can be used. Hydrophobic synthetic fibers are made to exhibit the inherent hydrophobicity of the resin by a method for producing a nonwoven fabric that does not have a surfactant on its surface, such as a spunbond method or a melt blow method, or the resin itself is hydrophobic. The purpose of further hydrophobizing the fiber, and a method of applying a hydrophobic treatment agent on the surface to make the fiber surface made of hydrophilic resin hydrophobic, or kneading a hydrophobic treatment agent into the resin and spinning it, etc. It may be made hydrophobic by. Hydrophobic fibers are preferably treated with a hydrophobic fiberizing oil such as silicone, fluorine or paraffin.

Next, an embodiment (also referred to as a first embodiment) of a method for producing an absorbent article of the present invention will be described. The napkin manufactured in the first embodiment has the same structure as that of the napkin 1 described above except that the sheet material constituting the leak-

Thus, according to the manufacturing method of 1st Embodiment, 1 A of napkins which are one Embodiment of this invention can be manufactured efficiently.

The obtained laminated nonwoven fabric having a two-layer structure with a width of 120 mm is cut so as to have a width of 60 mm on the left and right at the center, and the skin side when the unembossed nonwoven fabric is used as a napkin, when the embossed nonwoven fabric is used as a napkin It overlapped on the both sides of the surface sheet so that it might become a non-skin side, and the overlapped part was heat-sealed and joined.
Next, the laminated sheet of the two laminated nonwoven fabrics and the top sheet are overlapped with the absorbent body and the back sheet, and a predetermined portion is joined. Then, as shown in FIG. 4 (d), the whole is cut into a wing shape, before and after the napkin Was heat sealed.
Next, a non-skin hot melt agent for fixing to the shorts was applied to the non-skin surface of the wing to form an adhesive part to obtain a sanitary napkin. Further, the wing portion was folded on the skin surface side of the absorbent main body, covered with release paper, and further wrapped with a packaging material to form individual bodies.
As the absorbent body, the back sheet and the packaging material, the same ones as those of a commercially available sanitary napkin manufactured by Kao Corporation (trade name “with Laurier Sarasara Cushion Wing”) were used.

[Example 2]
A fiber web is obtained with a card machine from 100% PET / PE core-sheath fiber (core: PET, sheath: PE) treated with a hydrophobic silicone oil, and then the fibers are bonded together by air-through hot air treatment. An unembossed air-through nonwoven fabric was obtained. This air-through nonwoven fabric had a thickness of 1.5 mm, a basis weight of 30 g / m 2 , a nonwoven fabric density of 0.02 g / cm 3 , and an elongation at a load of 100 g in the width direction of 22%.
The air-through nonwoven fabric was cut out with a width of 120 mm.
Separately, PP / PE core-sheath fibers were produced by a spunbond method, and then the fibers were thermally bonded to each other by embossing to produce a spunbond nonwoven fabric. The properties of this spunbonded nonwoven fabric (embossed nonwoven fabric) were a thickness of 0.17 mm, a basis weight of 17 g / m 2 , a nonwoven fabric density of 0.1 g / cm 3 , and a 100 g weightwise elongation at 5% in the width direction.
On this spunbonded nonwoven fabric, 3 g / m 2 of a hot-melt adhesive in a spiral shape was applied, and the air-through nonwoven fabric was superimposed on the adhesive application surface and adhered.
The obtained laminated nonwoven fabric having a two-layer structure having a width of 120 mm was cut so as to have a width of 60 mm left and right at the center. A sanitary napkin individual package was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that this 60 mm wide laminated nonwoven fabric was bonded to both sides of the topsheet.
Example 3
A sanitary napkin was manufactured in the same manner as the manufacturing method of the second embodiment described above.
Specifically, an unembossed air-through nonwoven fabric was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1. This air-through nonwoven fabric had a thickness of 1.5 mm, a basis weight of 25 g / m 2 , a nonwoven fabric density of 0.0167 g / cm 3 , and a 100 g load elongation at 25% in the width direction.
The air-through nonwoven fabric was cut out with a width of 180 mm, and a portion with a center width of 90 mm centered on the central line extending in the longitudinal direction was embossed in a dot shape with a hot embossing roll (
On the embossed
As shown in FIG. 6, the obtained laminated nonwoven fabric having a two-layer structure with a width of 90 mm is cut and separated into two laminated nonwoven fabrics with a width of 60 mm so as to form the shape of the wings, respectively. Was laminated on both sides of the topsheet and joined by heat sealing so that the unembossed nonwoven fabric was the uppermost layer on the skin side and the embossed nonwoven fabric was the lowermost layer on the non-skin side.
Subsequently, the composite sheet of two laminated nonwoven fabrics and a surface sheet was piled up with the absorber and the back surface sheet, the predetermined location was joined, and the front and back of the napkin were heat-sealed.
In any of the sanitary napkins of the examples, the wing portion had a soft touch. Moreover, when fixed to the crotch part of a commercially available sanitary short, the wing part could be easily wound around the shorts and fixed, and the bent part produced at that time was also flexible.
