Abstract

Claims (13)
- 追跡装置を取り付けられ、貨物の識別標識と環境状態とを検知するセンサ手段が関連付けられた貨物コンテナに関するデータを集める方法に於いて、
前記追跡装置において、第1の所定の期間の間、前記センサ手段からの送信を監視するステップ、
前記追跡装置において、前記センサ手段からの送信の受信の時点を記録するステップ、
前記追跡装置において、前記センサ手段からの送信を第2の所定の期間の間監視するステップ、および
前記追跡装置において、前記センサ手段によって送信されたデータを記録するステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第2の所定の期間の後、前記センサ手段からの送信の監視を停止するステップを更に含む請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記追跡装置は、GPS衛星の配列からの航行信号を用いる請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記センサ手段からの送信を検出し損なったことを前記追跡装置において記録するステップを更に含む請求項1記載の方法。
- 記録されたデータを中央局に送信するステップを更に含む請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記記録されたデータが周期的に前記中央局に送信される請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記追跡装置が前記中央局によりポーリングされるときに、前記記録されたデータが前記中央局に送信される請求項5記載の方法。
- 例外的状態が検出されたとき直ちに前記記録されたデータが前記中央局に送信される請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記コンテナが動き始めたときに前記記録されたデータが前記中央局に送信される請求項5記載の方法。
- 更に、複数の追跡装置をによって少なくとも1つの動的な移動ローカル・エリア・ネットワークを形成し、該ローカル・エリア・ネットワークのノードを各々の追跡装置で構成するステップ、前記ローカル・エリア・ネットワーク内の1つの追跡装置をマスタ追跡装置と指定し、他の追跡装置をスレーブ追跡装置とするステップ、および前記ローカル・エリア・ネットワークのすべてのノードからのデータを、マスタ追跡装置だけから中央局へ送信するステップを含む請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記センサ手段が温度センサを含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記センサ手段が衝撃センサを含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記センサ手段は、前記追跡装置を取り付けたコンテナの中の商品に関連する識別番号を送信する請求項1記載の方法。
