Description

The present invention, for example, in the process of assembling a car body of an automobile, as in the case of joining a structural member formed of aluminum or an alloy thereof (hereinafter abbreviated as aluminum) to an automobile frame formed of a steel material, Joints for joining aluminum products (including parts and parts; the same shall apply hereinafter) and products formed of steel materials such as steel plates (including parts and parts; the same shall apply hereinafter) and the use thereof The present invention relates to a joining method.

When joining aluminum products and steel products, if they are directly welded, a brittle intermetallic compound is generated between them, resulting in a large variation in joining strength, which results in poor joint reliability. End up.

Therefore, there has been proposed a joining method in which resistance welding is performed by interposing an intermediate material clad with aluminum alone or aluminum and an iron-based metal as an insert material between the aluminum product and the steel product (for example, Patent Document 1 and Patent Document). 2).
However, it is very difficult to use existing / existing equipment in the construction method in which an insert material is interposed between an aluminum product and a steel product. For example, it is difficult to automate in the process of assembling the body of an automobile. Become. In addition to the process of assembling automobile bodies, etc., it is necessary to make significant changes or adjustments from existing and existing joining conditions, so the management range of joining conditions is often very narrow and stable manufacturing ( Joining) becomes difficult.

In the present invention, when joining aluminum products and steel products, the existing and existing joining processes and equipment can be used as they are without modification, and the aluminum products and steel products can be joined and assembled. It is an object of the present invention to provide a joint for joining an aluminum product and a steel product that can be manufactured (joined) with an existing joining condition control level and a joining method using the joint.

The joining joint of the present invention that achieves the above object is a joint for joining an aluminum product and a steel product, and is surface-treated with excellent adhesion to aluminum and integrated with the aluminum product. The aluminum-side steel plate and the steel-side steel plate that is integrated with the steel product are subjected to a surface treatment excellent in weldability with the steel material, and are characterized by being integrated by welding (claims). 1).
Under the present circumstances, the said aluminum side steel plate and the steel material side steel plate are welded by the seam welding generally applied, for example, when welding steel plates.

In addition, another joint for joint according to the present invention includes an aluminum-side joint that is integrated with an aluminum product by applying a surface treatment with excellent adhesion to aluminum to a part of one steel plate, and a steel product. A surface treatment excellent in weldability is applied to form a steel material side joint that is integrated with the steel product (Claim 2).

The surface property excellent in adhesion to the aluminum is imparted by subjecting the surface of the aluminum-side steel plate or aluminum-side bonded portion to a hot dip galvanizing treatment (Claim 3), and is excellent in weldability with the steel material. The surface characteristics are imparted by subjecting the surface of the steel material-side steel plate or steel material-side joint portion to galvannealing or forming a bare surface (Claim 4).

And the joining method of the aluminum product of this invention and steel material products is the steel material by which the surface treatment which was excellent in the weldability of the aluminum side steel plate in which the surface treatment which was excellent in the adhesiveness with aluminum, and the steel material was performed. By using a joint for welding which is integrated with the side steel plate, the aluminum product is integrated with the aluminum side steel plate, and then the steel product is integrated with the steel side steel plate by spot welding or arc welding. The aluminum product and the steel product are joined together (Claim 5).

Furthermore, the joining method of another aluminum product and steel product according to the present invention includes an aluminum-side joining part in which a surface treatment excellent in adhesion to aluminum is applied to a part of one steel plate, and the steel product. A steel joint having a surface treated with a surface treatment excellent in weldability is used, and an aluminum product is integrated into the aluminum side joint, and then the steel side joint is made of steel. The aluminum product and the steel product are joined to each other by integrating them with the product by spot welding or arc welding (Claim 6).

Examples of means for integrating the aluminum product with the aluminum side steel plate or the aluminum side joint include casting or brazing or MIG brazing joint (Claim 7). When integrating aluminum products by casting, it is preferable to integrate castings by die casting or low-speed high-pressure casting.

In addition, when integrating an aluminum product into the aluminum side steel plate or aluminum side joint by casting, whether or not to preheat the aluminum side steel plate or aluminum side joint according to the ambient ambient temperature at the time of casting. It is preferable to preheat the aluminum-side steel plate or the aluminum-side joint based on the determination result (claim 8).
That is, it is known that when an aluminum side steel plate or an aluminum side joint is cast with an aluminum product, the aluminum side steel plate or the aluminum side joint is slightly warmed to improve the adhesion to the aluminum product. However, especially in the summer, when the ambient ambient temperature is high, confirm that the expected adhesion can be obtained without preheating, and whether to preheat the aluminum side steel sheet or aluminum side joint when casting aluminum products. It has been found that the temperature threshold is close to the outside air temperature.

When welding joints to steel products, laser welding, plasma welding, friction stir welding, etc. are possible in addition to spot welding (resistance spot) or arc welding (MIG welding, TIG welding, arc spot). However, the method by spot welding or arc welding generally employed in the welding process is most preferable.

According to the joint for joining an aluminum product and a steel product according to claim 1 of the present invention, an aluminum-side steel plate integrated with the aluminum product by being subjected to a surface treatment excellent in adhesion to aluminum, and the steel product Because it is constructed by welding the steel side steel plate that is surface treated with excellent weldability and integrated with the steel product by welding, the adhesion strength to the aluminum product as a joint for joining aluminum product and steel product And weldability to steel products can be easily achieved.
Therefore, high reliability can be obtained in the joining between the aluminum product and the steel product.

In addition, this joint for joints is formed separately for an aluminum side steel plate with surface characteristics excellent in adhesion to aluminum and a steel side steel plate with surface characteristics excellent in weldability with steel materials. Since it can be obtained simply by welding, it can be provided at a low cost.

According to the joint for joining an aluminum product and a steel product according to claim 2 of the present invention, a surface treatment excellent in adhesion to aluminum is applied to a part of one steel plate, Since the surface treatment which is excellent in weldability with the steel material and the steel material side joint part integrated with the steel product are formed, the aluminum side joint part to be integrated is formed. Similar to the joint, as a joint for joining an aluminum product and a steel product, it is possible to easily achieve both the adhesion strength to the aluminum product and the weldability to the steel product.
Moreover, since only a surface treatment excellent in adhesion to aluminum and a surface treatment excellent in weldability to steel are applied to a part of one steel plate, it can be provided at a lower cost.

Moreover, like the joint for joining the aluminum product and the steel product according to claim 3, by covering the surface of the aluminum side steel plate or the aluminum side joint part with a zinc alloy in advance using a method such as hot dip galvanization. When aluminum products are cast, that is, when the joint for joining (the aluminum-side steel plate or aluminum-side joint) is cast with an aluminum product (aluminum casting), the zinc coating and the aluminum casting are expected to be metallurgically bonded. Therefore, it is possible to greatly improve the bonding strength with aluminum products, which are cast metal materials, and because zinc has a higher corrosion potential than aluminum, corrosion based on the potential difference between the steel sheet and aluminum products (aluminum castings) can be achieved. Therefore, the corrosion resistance can be greatly improved.
As a result, the present invention can be applied to a joining member in automobile production or the like having extremely strict corrosion resistance requirements, such as joining an aluminum product to a car body or a frame (steel product) of an automobile.

And according to the joining method of the aluminum product and steel material product of Claim 5 of this invention, an aluminum product is integrated with an aluminum side steel plate using the joint for joint of Claim 1, and, so Since the aluminum product and the steel product were joined to each other by later integrating the steel product to the steel side steel plate by spot welding or arc welding, the aluminum product should be integrated with the aluminum side steel plate in advance by, for example, cast-in. For example, it is possible to join and assemble an aluminum product and a steel product by using the existing and existing joining processes and facilities without change. Therefore, it is possible to manufacture (join processing) with existing joining condition management levels using existing and existing joining processes and equipment.

This means that, for example, process equipment for joining components formed of aluminum castings as aluminum products to automobile bodies and frames formed of steel products as steel products, automation by robots etc. has progressed, and assembly process equipment It is particularly effective for process equipment with a large investment amount, and is also effective in that it is not necessary to invest in the installation of a new line, which is the biggest issue in reducing the weight of automobiles using aluminum products. Furthermore, it means that the degree of freedom in designing a lighter vehicle is greatly improved.

Further, according to the method for joining an aluminum product and a steel product according to claim 6 of the present invention, a surface treatment excellent in adhesion to aluminum is applied using the joint for joint according to claim 1. Aluminum products are integrated into the aluminum side joints, and then the steel products are integrated by spot welding or arc welding into the steel side joints that have been surface treated with excellent weldability to steel. Since the steel product is joined to the steel product, the same effect as the joining method of the aluminum product and the steel product according to claim 5 can be achieved.

Furthermore, according to the joining method of the aluminum product and the steel product according to claim 8 of the present invention, when the aluminum product is integrated with the aluminum side steel plate or the aluminum side joint part by casting, the periphery at the time of casting It is determined whether or not to preheat the aluminum side steel plate or aluminum side joint according to the ambient temperature, and the aluminum side steel plate or aluminum side joint is preheated based on the determination result, so preheating is required. If it is determined that the heat treatment is not performed, it is not necessary to perform heat treatment (preheating), so that the cost can be reduced accordingly.

Hereinafter, specific preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments.
In the figure, symbol A indicates an aluminum product, symbol B indicates a steel product, symbols C and D indicate joints according to the first and second inventions for joining the aluminum product A and the steel product B, respectively. Indicates.

First, the joint C according to the first invention will be described with reference to FIG.
The joint C according to the first aspect of the present invention has a surface treatment excellent in weldability between an aluminum side steel plate C1 which is subjected to a surface treatment excellent in adhesion to aluminum and integrated with the aluminum product A, and a steel material. The steel material side steel plate C2 that is integrated with the steel product B is integrated by welding. Symbol E in the figure indicates a welded portion.

Both the aluminum side steel plate C1 and the steel material side steel plate C2 constituting the joint C for joining are made of a commercially available normal steel plate material, and have an appropriate thickness according to the aluminum product A and the steel product B to be joined to each other. The aluminum-side steel plate C1 and the steel-side steel plate C2 are welded E by, for example, seam welding, which is generally applied when welding steel plates.

Further, the surface of the aluminum-side steel plate C1 is subjected to a surface treatment that is excellent in adhesion to aluminum. In other words, the surface of the aluminum side steel plate C1 is subjected to a hot dip galvanizing treatment that has good compatibility with aluminum and steel materials, so that the aluminum side steel plate C1 has surface characteristics excellent in adhesion to aluminum (aluminum product A). The Then, when the aluminum side steel plate C1 is cast on the aluminum product A, the zinc alloy film is partly melted by the aluminum product A, and the aluminum product A and the zinc material are metal-bonded, resulting in the aluminum side steel plate C1. And the cast aluminum product A are firmly joined.

Further, the surface of the steel material side steel plate C2 is subjected to a surface treatment excellent in weldability with a steel material (steel product B). That is, the surface property of the steel material side steel plate C2 excellent in weldability with the steel material (steel product B) is given to the steel material side steel plate C2 by subjecting the surface of the steel material side steel plate C2 to alloying galvanization or using a bare ground.

Thus, when the aluminum product A and the steel product B are joined using the joint C according to the first invention, the surface-treated aluminum having excellent adhesion to aluminum is applied in advance. The side steel plate C1 and the steel material side steel plate C2 which has been subjected to a surface treatment excellent in weldability with the steel material are integrated by welding E by seam welding or the like, and then the aluminum product A is attached to the aluminum side steel plate C1. Integrate.

At this time, as a means for integrating the aluminum product A with the aluminum side steel plate C1, casting, brazing, MIG brazing, or the like can be considered, but the aluminum side steel plate C1 is integrated with the aluminum product A by casting. In this case, it is preferable to integrate the cast balls by die casting or low speed high pressure casting.
That is, the aluminum product A is formed by a die casting method or a low-speed high-pressure casting method (for example, see Japanese Patent Publication No. 6-8819, Japanese Patent No. 3304568, Japanese Patent No. 3480875, etc.). When casting into a predetermined product shape, the aluminum side steel plate C1 of the joint for joint C is set (inserted) in a casting mold (die) so that the aluminum side steel plate C1 of the joint for joint C is cast with the aluminum product A. The whole body is integrated.
At that time, it is determined whether or not to preheat the aluminum side steel plate or the aluminum side joint according to the ambient temperature at the time of casting, and based on the determination result, the aluminum side steel plate or the aluminum side joint is preheated. It is preferable. Then, preheating is not necessary when the ambient temperature in the summer is high.
