Description

  The present invention relates to a garment button, and more particularly, to a button that includes a male member and a female member, and that can perform not only horizontal slide joint but also vertical joint.

Some ski pants are provided with a plurality of buttons at the opening and closing part, and a push button at the top and a slide button at the bottom. By adopting the one that is easy to attach and detach in the upper stage and the one that allows a certain amount of movement in the lateral direction in the lower stage, both good points are combined.   In the ski pants of the above prior art, naturally, two types of buttons must be prepared.

  An object of the present invention is to provide a button having the same function as the above-described conventional technique using two types of buttons by preparing one type of buttons.

  The button which can be slid and pressed and joined according to the present invention comprises a male and female button, the male button has a male member having an engaging protrusion, and the female button has a female member having an engaging receiving portion.   In the present invention, the engagement receiving portion of the female button is bent in a U-shape when viewed from the side, and the U-shaped engagement receiving portion is provided when viewed from the plane.
