Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin throwing guide for a game apparatus, by which a player is allowed to throw coins continuously and smoothly.
SOLUTION: The coin throwing guide has a bottom guide including an upward inclined surface 16, a downward inclined surface 18, and a top portion positioned at the border of the upward inclined surface 16 and the downward inclined surface 18. The downward inclined surface is formed with a stepped portion 17. A coin restraining plate 24 is formed with a resilient plate 13. Both sides of the bottom guide are provided with side guides to constitute a coin guide groove. When the superposed coins 60 are put in the coin guide groove and pushed to a coin restraining surface 22a, a coin group 60c on the downward inclined surface is slid in a backward inclined attitude, raised at the stepped portion 17, and collides against the resilient plate 13 in a nearly upright state. The coins are swung by the resilient plate. Even if the player applies a force to the coins so as to throw a large quantity of coins, a coin slot is prevented from being clogged.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to a continuous coin insertion guide provided in a coin utilization device, and more particularly to a coin insertion guide having a structure that reduces clogging of coins.

In addition to the contents of the game, the operation feeling that can concentrate on the game is a popular element in game machines that use a large amount of coins continuously, such as pachinko / slot machines. The speed and timing of coins to be inserted are closely related to the player's interest in the game. Therefore, it is desirable to employ a coin insertion guide capable of smoothly inserting coins in these game machines in order to prepare an environment where the player can concentrate on playing. The coin insertion of the pachinko slot machine may be automated, but a manual type in which the player manually inserts a coin using a coin insertion guide is also used. The inventor of the present invention invented a coin insertion guide including an ascending inclined surface and a descending inclined surface as described in Patent Document 1 in order to meet such a demand.

As described in paragraph 007, the coin insertion guide described in the same document has a plurality of coins in an amount ranging from an ascending inclined surface to a descending inclined surface. When placed, there is a gap between the coins in the vicinity of the boundary between the rising and falling inclined surfaces, and the movement to the falling inclined surface can be performed smoothly. The coin placed on the descending inclined surface takes a backward inclined posture with the bottom side facing the coin traveling direction, and slides down the descending inclined surface continuously like a waterfall mainly by its own weight toward the coin slot. The player only has to push in coins from the supply end side in order to replenish coins that are deficient near the descending slope or the boundary between the descending slope and the ascending slope, and push in for continuous coin insertion. There is no need to adjust the speed. Also, since only the coins that have transitioned from the ascending slope to the descending slope fall, the coin insertion speed can be easily adjusted according to the state of play. Therefore, the burden of coin insertion by the player is reduced, and even beginners can enjoy the game.
Japanese Patent No. 3792700

As described above, the coin insertion guide described in Patent Document 1 can smoothly perform the coin insertion operation as compared with the previous coin insertion guide. However, the player moves the coin in the coin traveling direction. It has been confirmed that when the insertion speed is increased by pushing hard, coins may be jammed at the coin insertion slot due to the difference in the number of inserted sheets and the structure of the insertion guide. In particular, some gaming devices have a structure that does not allow more than two coins to enter from the coin slot at the same time, so the coin slot cannot be made larger than necessary, thus completely eliminating clogs. It was not easy to do.

FIG. 8 shows a state in which coins are jammed at the coin insertion slot in the coin insertion guide described in Patent Document 1. In FIG. 8, when coins are inserted, a plurality of coins slide in a downwardly inclined manner on the descending inclined surface 2 of the bottom guide 1 in the arrow X direction, but before the leading coin 5 falls from the coin insertion slot 7. 9 shows that the coins after the subsequent coin 6 are jammed by pressing the coin 5 against the coin stop surface 4 of the coin stop plate 3.

Then, an object of this invention is to provide the coin insertion guide with few coin jams. Furthermore, an object of this invention is to provide the coin insertion guide which can insert a coin continuously and smoothly. Furthermore, an object of this invention is to provide the coin utilization apparatus and game device provided with such a coin insertion guide.

In the first aspect of the present invention, the bottom guide forms an ascending inclined surface that rises in the coin traveling direction from the supply end to the inserting end, a descending inclined surface that descends in the coin advancing direction, and a coin slot. An inlet port surface and a stepped portion connecting the descending inclined surface and the inlet port surface are provided. The coins fall back to the coin slot while sliding on the downward inclined surface while taking the backward inclined posture due to the action of the upward inclined surface and the downward inclined surface, but when the leading coin reaches the step, it rises and is close to an upright posture Since it collides with the coin stop plate in the posture, even if it is pushed into the subsequent coin, it does not come into contact with the coin stop surface in an inclined posture and become clogged.

The stepped portion need not be formed of a horizontal plane and a vertical plane as long as it has a structure in which a coin that has slipped down on a descending inclined surface in a backward inclined posture is raised before colliding with a coin stop plate. The width of the stepped portion in the coin traveling direction is preferably a dimension corresponding to the thickness of three to four coins. The reason is that if the width in the coin traveling direction is smaller than that, the succeeding coins will not rise sufficiently, and the lower part of the leading coin may be pressed against the coin restraining surface and clogged. This is because if the width in the coin advancing direction is larger than that, the coin once raised when it reaches the stepped portion takes a backward tilting posture and may be clogged with the coin slot as in the conventional case.

The height of the stepped portion is preferably a dimension corresponding to the thickness of one or two coins. The bottom guide can be in various forms with an ascending ramp and a descending ramp. For example, even if the straight line connecting the center of the edge on the supply end side of the rising inclined surface and the center of the edge on the throwing end side of the falling inclined surface is inclined so as to descend in the direction of coin movement relative to the horizontal plane You may incline so that it may rise. A coin insertion guide that realizes smoother coin insertion can be configured by providing a step portion in the vicinity of the coin insertion port on the downwardly inclined surface. It is desirable that the top portion existing at the boundary between the rising slope and the descending slope is arranged at a substantially center between the edge on the supply end side of the rising slope and the edge on the input end side of the falling slope. However, as long as the ascending inclined surface, the descending inclined surface, and the top part can exhibit their respective functions, the top part may be arranged on the supply end side or the input end side from the center.

In the second aspect of the present invention, the elastic plate is provided on the coin stop surface of the coin stop plate. The coin that moves to the coin slot while sliding on the descending inclined surface once collides with the coin stop surface and takes an upright posture before dropping from the coin slot. At this time, if a resilient member is provided on the coin-stopping surface so that the coin collides with the resilient member, the coin is lightly bounced back to the resilient member. Therefore, even when the leading coin is inserted so as to be strongly pressed from the succeeding coins, a slight swing phenomenon occurs in the coins near the leading and the clogging at the coin insertion slot is reduced.

According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a coin insertion guide with less coin jamming. Furthermore, according to the present invention, a coin insertion guide capable of continuously and smoothly inserting coins could be provided. Further, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a coin use device and a gaming device provided with such a coin insertion guide.

図2(A)は、図1のA−A断面、図2(B)は図1のB−B断面、図2(C)は図1のC−C断面を示す。 Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a coin insertion guide 10 for a game apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. 2A is a cross section taken along the line AA in FIG. 1, FIG. 2B is a cross section taken along the line BB in FIG. 1, and FIG. 2C is a cross section taken along the line CC in FIG. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the coin insertion guide 10 shown in FIG. 1 at the position of the center line A in the coin traveling direction. FIG. 4 is a plan view of the coin insertion guide 10 on the insertion end 12 side. In the present specification, the player side of the coin insertion guide 10 is referred to as a supply end portion 11, and the coin insertion port side is referred to as an insertion end portion 12.

The hardening insertion guide 10 includes a bottom guide 15 that provides a sliding surface for sliding coins while coins to be inserted into the coin insertion slot 14 move from the supply end 11 side to the insertion end 12 side. Hereinafter, in this specification, the direction from the edge 40 (FIG. 3) on the supply end portion side of the ascending inclined surface to the edge 41 (FIG. 3) on the input end portion side of the descending inclined surface is referred to as a coin traveling direction. The bottom guide 15 has a top portion 20 at substantially the center between the supply end portion 11 side and the input end portion 12 side, and further, a rising inclined surface 16 rising from the supply end portion 11 side toward the top portion 20, and the top portion 20. And a descending inclined surface 18 that descends toward the charging end 12 side. Further, the bottom guide 15 includes a charging port surface 19 and a step portion 17 which is a characteristic structure of the present invention. The bottom surface 29 (FIG. 3) of the coin insertion guide 10 is horizontal when the coin insertion guide 10 is attached to the game machine.

A straight line 42 (FIG. 3) connecting the centers of the edge 40 on the supply end 11 side of the rising inclined surface 16 and the edge 41 on the insertion end 12 side of the falling inclined surface 18 is in the coin traveling direction with respect to the bottom surface 29. Inclined to descend. However, in the coin insertion guide 10 according to the present invention, the straight line 42 may be horizontal with respect to the bottom surface, or may be inclined so as to rise with respect to the coin traveling direction. In the present embodiment, the ascending inclined surface 16, the top portion 20, and the descending inclined surface 18 are formed by one continuous curved surface, and gradually transition from one surface to the other surface so that there is no clear boundary. However, the ascending inclined surface 16, the top portion 20, and the descending inclined surface 18 may be formed as a flat surface or a curved surface close to a flat surface so that the boundary between them is clear. However, a clear boundary is formed at the boundary between the descending inclined surface 18 and the stepped portion 17.

A pair of side guides 26a and 26b are adjacently raised on both sides of the bottom guide 15 in the coin traveling direction. The distance between the side guides 26a and 26b in the vicinity of the top portion 20 is so narrow that the edges on both sides of the coin are in contact with each other at the narrowest point, and the distance between the vicinity of the supply end 11 and the vicinity of the input end 12 is larger. ing. The surface on which the side guides 26a and 26b are opposed changes in a continuous curved surface in the coin traveling direction. When the side guides 26a and 26b are viewed from the top, the shape looks like a figure obtained by adding an eight figure shape and an inverted eight figure shape.

The surfaces on which the coins of the bottom guide 15 and the side guides 26a and 26b are put together form a coin guide surface. The diameter of the circular coin targeted in this embodiment is about 2.5 cm, but the coin insertion guide 10 according to the present invention can also be applied to coins of other outer diameters such as currency. When the side guides 26a, 26b and the bottom guide 15 are viewed in a cross section perpendicular to the coin traveling direction, the surfaces are continuous in an arch shape as shown in FIGS. 2 (A) to 2 (C). The side guides 26a and 26b have the highest ridges 30a and 30b in each cross section.

Guide grooves 32a and 32b are provided on the outer sides of the side guides 26a and 26b in the coin traveling direction. When comparing FIG. 2A to FIG. 2C, the height is the highest because the bottom guide 15 becomes the top 20 in the BB cross section. Moreover, the play which the coin arrange | positioned in parallel with the coin advancing direction in the BB cross section moves to the side guides 26a and 26b direction has decreased. This is because, as described above, the interval between the side guides 26a and 26b on the coin guide surface is narrowest in the vicinity of the top portion 20 and wide on the supply end portion 11 side and the input end portion 12 side.

The bottom guide 15 and the side guides 26a and 26b can be manufactured integrally by die-casting aluminum die casting or synthetic resin. Further, the bottom guide 15 and the side guides 26a and 26b may be assembled after being formed as separate members. A coin stopper 28 protruding above the edge 40 on the supply end 11 side of the rising inclined surface is provided at the end on the supply end 11 side.

A stepped portion 17 is formed at the edge of the descending inclined surface 18 on the input end 12 side. The stepped portion 17 is formed in a stepped shape at a position where the edge 41 of the descending inclined surface 18 on the input end portion 12 side and the input port surface 19 of the bottom guide 15 communicate with each other. The input port surface 19 forms one surface of the coin input port 14. The width W of the stepped portion 17 in the coin traveling direction corresponds to the thickness of three to four coins. Further, the height of the stepped portion 17 from the edge 41 on the input end portion side of the descending inclined surface 18 to the flat surface with which the bottom of the coin contacts corresponds to the thickness of one or two coins. . The width W and height of the stepped portion are selected as values having the smallest coin clogging as a result of experiments. The flat surface of the stepped portion 17 is not necessarily configured by a continuous plane, and may be configured by arranging separated members so as to form a comb shape. Further, the flat surface of the stepped portion 17 may be slightly inclined in the coin traveling direction.

A coin stop plate 24 including coin stop surfaces 22a and 22b and a resilient plate 13 is provided at the end on the insertion end 12 side. The elastic plate 13 is formed at a position where coins collide before the coins that have moved while sliding on the descending inclined surface 18 enter the coin insertion slot 14. As shown in FIG. 3, the elastic plate 13 has a surface on which a coin collides on a vertical surface. The coin stop surface 22a is slightly inclined in the coin traveling direction with respect to the vertical surface, and the coin stop surface 22b is on the vertical surface. The posture of the coin stop surfaces 22a and 22b is an example for a resilient plate having a vertical surface to exert a resilient action on a coin without being obstructed by the coin stop surface 22a. The scope of the invention includes a structure in which the coin stop surfaces 22a and 22b are both vertical.

The lower edge of the surface of the elastic plate 13 on which the coins collide is substantially flush with the coin stop surface 22b. The elastic plate 13 is made of an elastic metal material, and the bent position 21 has a spring structure. When the coin moves on the descending inclined surface 18 with respect to the coin stop plate 24 having such a structure, the coin collides with the elastic plate 13 and is given a repulsive force.

Between the coin stop surface 22b of the coin stop plate 24 and the input port surface 19 of the bottom guide 15, there is provided a coin input port 14 having a width (dimension in the direction of coin movement) that allows one coin to enter at a time. The restraining surface 22b forms the other surface of the coin slot 14. It is convenient that the width of the coin insertion direction 14 in the coin advancing direction is as large as possible within a range in which only one coin enters, because the coins are less likely to be jammed. The coin stopper 28 and the coin stop plate 24 can be made of a metal or synthetic resin plate, but may be formed integrally with the bottom guide 15 and the side guides 26a and 26b.

Next, the behavior of the coin 60 when the coin 60 is inserted into the game apparatus 100 from the coin insertion guide 10 will be described with reference to FIGS. 3, 5, and 6. FIG. 5 is a view showing a state in which the coin is viewed from the player side when the coin 60 is placed on the coin insertion guide 10 of FIG. FIG. 6 is a view showing a state in which the coin insertion guide 10 is attached to the game apparatus 100.

As shown in FIG. 6, the coin insertion guide 10 is attached so that the back surface of the coin stop plate 24 is in contact with the front panel of the game device 100 installed vertically. At this time, the bottom surface 29 of the coin insertion guide 10 is substantially perpendicular to the front panel. As shown in FIG. 5, the player takes out about 30 coins 60 at a time from the coin discharge tray 103 of the game apparatus 100 and holds them in an overlapping manner, and is surrounded by a bottom guide 15 and a pair of side guides 26a and 26b. Place on coin guide surface. At this time, since the player turns his gaze toward the game surface 101 and is absorbed in the game, the gaze is hardly transferred to the coin discharge tray 103 or the coin insertion guide 10. The coin insertion guide 10 is provided at the right end or the left end of the game device 100 in terms of design, but it is convenient for a right-handed player if it is provided at the right end as shown in FIG.

However, the game apparatus 100 also uses left-handed players. When a right-handed player tries to place the coin 60 on the coin insertion guide 10, the coin 60 is held between the index finger and the thumb, so that the thumb claw is naturally directed toward the center of the player's body. . In the case of a left-handed player, it is natural that the thumb claws face the outside of the player's body. To set the coin insertion guide 10 to the game device 100 so that the thumb claw is naturally in the direction of coin movement for both right-handed and left-handed players, the coin is inserted into the center of the game device. Since the guide 10 needs to be provided, a design problem arises. However, in the coin insertion guide 10 according to the present exemplary embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, the interval between the side guides 26 a and 26 b is wider on the supply end 11 side than the vicinity of the top 20. This shape makes it easy to place coins for both right-handed and left-handed players because the orientation of the thumb is not constrained to an unnatural state.

In addition, since the interval between the side guides 26a and 26b on the insertion end 11 side is widened, it is easy to put the index finger near the coin guide surface on the input end 12 side while holding the coin. Even when the middle finger is attached and the coin is held with two fingers, the finger can be easily placed in the vicinity of the coin guide surface on the insertion end 12 side. Since the coin stopper 28 is provided at the end of the supply end 11, it is possible to prevent coins from spilling from the supply end 11 side when the force for holding the coin placed on the rising inclined surface 16 is loosened. it can.

Next, in order to drop the coin 60 from the coin insertion slot 14 into the game apparatus 100, the player moves the coin 60, which is stacked and held, with the thumb little by little in the coin advancing direction indicated by the arrow X, and in the coin advancing direction. Loosen the power of a certain index finger. Since the player does not necessarily stack the coins 60 in an orderly manner, the arrangement of the coins may be disturbed to the left and right while moving on the rising slope 16, but the interval between the side guides 26a, 26b is reduced. The coins are squeezed and aligned in the vicinity of the top portion 20 so that the coins can smoothly slide down the descending inclined surface 18.

When a plurality of coins are stacked and held with the thumb 60 and forefinger coins 60 at both ends, the entire coins are in close contact with each other as in a coin group 60a. However, since the bottom guide 15 includes the rising inclined surface 16, the top portion 20, and the falling inclined surface 18, when a plurality of coins 60 are placed on the bottom guide 15 and the force on the index finger side is loosened, the coins 60 are stored in the coin group. It becomes a state like 60a, 60b, 60c. The coin group 60a on the ascending inclined surface 16 is in close contact with each other due to its own weight and a force acting on the supply end side. Since the bottom guide 15 changes its inclination toward the descending inclined surface 18 with the top 20 as a boundary, the entire coin 60 cannot maintain a close state like the coin group 60a. In the top portion 20, there is a slight gap on the upper side of adjacent coins as in the coin group 60 b.

This gap prevents the phenomenon in which the coin group 60a passing through the top portion 20 is separated one by one, and the coins are brought into close contact with hand oil and the falling inclined surface 18 is not easily dropped. The coin group 60c placed on the descending inclined surface 18 changes its posture so that the bottom side of the coin group 60c is slightly inclined along the descending inclined surface 18 toward the coin traveling direction X side and a gap is opened between the bottom side. As shown in FIG. When the tilt of the backward tilting posture is insufficient, the player can easily put the coin group 60c into the backward tilting posture by holding the slightly upper side of the coin 60 with the index finger.

The coin group 60c slides down in a beautiful continuous shape like a waterfall toward the coin insertion slot 14 with its own weight while gradually increasing the backward tilt posture. As described above, the bottom guide 15 enables continuous coin insertion by the action of the ascending inclined surface 16, the top portion 20, and the descending inclined surface 18, so that the position of the top portion 20 is not necessarily limited as long as such an effect is brought about. It is not necessary to arrange at the approximate center between the supply end 11 side and the input end 12 side, and it may be a position closer to the supply end 11 or a position closer to the input end 12. When the coin 60 is pushed with the thumb in the coin advancing direction X, the sliding speed due to the finger force is added in addition to the sliding speed due to its own weight. If the player puts too much force at this time, the conventional coin insertion guide shown in Patent Document 1 may be filled with coins as shown in FIG.

As for the coin insertion guide 10 concerning embodiment of this invention, the level | step-difference part 17 and the elastic board 13 prevent clogging of a coin. Even if only one of the stepped portion 17 and the elastic plate 13 is provided, there is an effect, but if both are provided, there is a further effect. Of the coin group 60c sliding on the descending inclined surface 18, the coins 60f, 60e, 60d at the top of the coin group 60c fall from the backward inclined posture in the coin group 60c at the position of the stepped portion 17 by the bottom portion falling into the stepped portion 17. The upper part of the coin rises and approaches an upright posture. As a result, the coin 60f collides with the elastic plate 13 of the coin stop plate 24 in a state close to an upright posture.

Therefore, even if it is a case where a coin is made to collide with the coin stop surface 22a without providing the elastic plate 13 on the coin stop plate 24, the clogging of coins is reduced as compared with the conventional coin insertion guide described in Patent Document 1, The coin smoothly falls to the coin slot 14. The coin 60f immediately before dropping to the coin insertion slot 14 slides down the descending inclined surface 18 vigorously. When the elastic plate 13 is provided as in the present embodiment, the coin 60f once collides with the elastic plate 13. Since the elastic plate 13 gives a repulsive force to the coin 60f, and the coin 60f gives a repulsive force to the subsequent coin 60e60d, the coins 60f, 60e, 60d in the vicinity of the coin insertion slot 14 in the coin traveling direction. A slight rocking phenomenon occurs and it becomes more difficult to clog.

When the coin on the front end side falls and the coin groups 60b and 60c become insufficient, the player replenishes the coin by pushing it toward the coin traveling direction X side. The coin group 60a on the rising inclined surface 16 pushes the bottom side of the coin group 60b on the top portion 20, and the coin group 60c on the descending inclined surface 18 is separated after the coins are separated at the top portion 20. While taking a tilted posture, it slides down the descending slope continuously.

Since the coin group 60c slides down mainly by its own weight on the descending inclined surface 18, it can be stably and smoothly dropped from the coin insertion slot 14 regardless of the pushing speed of the thumb, that is, the coin insertion speed. . Even when the player wants to insert more coins in a short time and pushes the coins relatively strongly with the thumb and replenishes the top portion 20, the coin insertion guide 10 according to the present embodiment has the step portion 17 and the elastic plate. Since it has 13 or any one of these structures, the possibility that the coins are jammed is low.

After all of the initially held coins 60 are inserted, about 30 coins are again taken out from the coin discharge tray 103 and inserted from the coin insertion guide 10. When the player pushes the coin 60 in the coin advancing direction X, the position of the finger can be stably held by placing the middle finger or the ring finger along the guide groove 32a or 32b.

FIG. 7 is a view for explaining an example in which a bottom groove 34 formed as a space having a depth of about 1 mm is formed between the edge of the coin 60 and the surface of the bottom guide 15. The bottom guide 15 is formed by a surface having a curvature larger than the curvature of the coin in a cross section cut by a plane perpendicular to the coin traveling direction, and a bottom portion is provided between the bottom side edge of the coin 60 and the surface of the bottom guide 15. A groove 34 is formed. As for the coin 60, the edge parts 61 and 63 are supported by the bottom part guide 15 and the side part guide. As a result, the contact area between the coin 60 and the bottom guide 15 can be reduced, the friction can be reduced, and the coin can be moved smoothly. In the present embodiment, the bottom groove 34 is provided from the position substantially at the center of the rising inclined surface 16 to the insertion end 12 in the coin traveling direction.

In FIG. 1, the coin stop plate 24 is formed on the coin insertion guide 10, but the coin stop plate 24 may use the front panel of the game apparatus 100. In that case, a transparent film or panel may be attached to prevent the front panel of the game apparatus from being damaged by coins. In this case, a front panel, a transparent film, etc. replace the coin stop surface 22 as a panel stop surface. The coin insertion guide 10 according to the present embodiment can be applied not only to game machines that use dedicated coins, but also to coin use devices that handle coins as money, such as ticket vending machines and vending machines. it can.
