前記色ずれ補正量演算手段の演算結果に基づいて、前記複数の画像形成部の各画像形成部で形成された各色画像に対して画素単位の色ずれを補正する第1の補正手段と、
前記各色画像の少なくともエッジ部又は細線パターン部を検出する検出手段と、
前記検出手段で検出されたエッジ部又は細線パターン部における第1の画像データに対して、画素単位未満の色ずれを補正する第2の補正手段と、
前記エッジ部及び前記細線パターン部以外の前記各色画像における第2の画像データに対して、ハーフトーン処理を行うハーフトーン処理手段と、
前記第2の補正手段による補正処理後の前記第1の画像データに対して、階調補正処理を行う階調補正処理手段と
