シャワヘッド本体内の通水路の先端に複数の散水孔を有する散水板が前記シャワヘッド本体に固定状態に取り付けられているシャワヘッドにおいて、
前記散水板の上流側通水空間に、前記複数の散水孔を塞ぐに足りる大きさの遮水板が設けられ、この遮水板は、止水時には前記複数の散水孔を塞ぐべく前記散水板に密着する方向へ付勢されているとともに、通水時には水圧により前記付勢力に抗して前記複数の散水孔を開くべく前記散水板から離反する方向へ移動可能に構成されていることを特徴とするシャワヘッド。
