JP-A-6-46114 ([0005]-[0008], FIGS. 1 and 2) JP-A-11-136330 ([0014]-[0017], FIG. 1-6) Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2004-194090 ([0007], FIGS. 1 and 2) JP 2003-87382 A ([0039], FIG. 1-28)

In conventional wall-mounted telephones, it has not been considered that the angle of the main body can be adjusted in order to improve operability. The present invention has been made in view of this point, and in a phone that can be used either on a table or in a wall, the angle of the main body can be adjusted in either state, and this is realized by a compact angle adjustment device. The purpose is to provide what can be done.

(1) In order to achieve the above object, the telephone of the present invention includes a base that can be used in a table-mounted state or a wall-mounted state in which the bottom surface faces a wall surface, a cradle unit that holds a handset, and an operation unit. And a main body connected to the base so as to be tiltable in a vertical plane, and an angle adjusting device for adjusting a relative angle between the base and the main body. A vertical support plate for supporting the housing is provided, and the support plate is formed with a circular groove that protrudes toward the base, and the main body through the slit formed in the housing. A pedestal that enters the portion is provided, and the pedestal includes a plurality of support shafts that are spaced apart from each other and engage the arc groove of the support plate to support the main body portion in a tiltable manner, and the arc groove Engage with any of multiple engaging parts scattered along A latch stop relative movement between the support plate and the pedestal is characterized in that provided Te.

According to this configuration, when the base is placed on the wall, the main body is also hung on the wall, and in this state, the angle of the main body can be adjusted to make it easy to use. The angle adjustment device tilts the main body part by providing a central axis of the circle at one place on the support plate that supports the housing of the main body part, and rotating the support plate around this central axis. A plurality of support shafts are passed through the formed arc groove, and this support shaft is supported by a base on the base side so that the support plate can be moved circularly. Therefore, the support plate has a sector shape including the center of the circle. There is no need. Therefore, it is sufficient for the support plate to have a relatively narrow shape such as a string cut off near the periphery of the circle, and the angle adjusting device can have a compact structure. In addition, since the pedestal enters the main body through a slit formed in the housing of the main body, it is not necessary to provide a large opening in the housing, and the aesthetic appearance of the main body can be maintained.

(2) Further, in the present invention, in the telephone having the above-described configuration, a plurality of the support plates are arranged in parallel with a space between each other, the arc grooves are formed in each of the support plates, and the support shaft is All the arc grooves are arranged in a skewered manner, and the pedestal supports the support shaft at least near both ends thereof.

According to this configuration, since the support shaft is skewered with a plurality of support plates arranged parallel to each other at intervals, the pedestal supports the vicinity of both ends of the support shaft, so that an angle adjusting device with high strength is obtained. be able to.
(3) According to the present invention, in the telephone configured as described above, a notch formed on an inner surface of the arc groove constitutes the engaging portion, and a shaft engaged with the notch constitutes the latch. It is characterized by.

According to this configuration, both the engaging portion and the latch have a simple structure and are easy to manufacture.
(4) Further, in the telephone having the above-described configuration, the latch is always urged by a spring in a direction in which the latch is engaged with the engaging portion, and an operation lever provided on the base is connected to the latch. The latch is disengaged from the engaging portion by the operation of the operation lever.

According to this configuration, the operation of removing the latch from the engaging portion can be easily performed.
(5) The present invention is characterized in that, in the telephone having the above-described configuration, the support plate and the pedestal are metal parts.

According to this configuration, the angle adjusting device can be made robust enough to withstand long-term use.

ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the telephone which can adjust the angle of a main-body part also in a wall-mounted state can be provided as well as the angle of a main-body part being adjustable in a desktop mounting state. The angle adjusting device can have a compact structure using a support plate having an arc groove and a plurality of support shafts engaged with the arc groove. Further, since the pedestal enters the main body through a slit formed in the housing of the main body, the aesthetic appearance of the main body is not greatly impaired.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 is a perspective view of the telephone as viewed from the front side, FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the telephone with the handset removed from FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the telephone as viewed from the rear side, and FIG. FIG. 5 is a side view of a telephone set in a desktop state, and is an angle state different from FIG. 4, FIG. 6 is a side view of the telephone set in a wall hanging state, and FIG. 7 is a side view of the telephone set in a wall hanging state. FIG. 8 is a front view of the main body and the handset, FIG. 9 is a sectional view taken along the line AA of FIG. 8, FIG. 10 is a perspective view of the angle adjusting device, and FIG. FIG. 12 is a cross-sectional view of the angle adjusting device in which the cross-sectional portion is changed from FIG.

The telephone 1 includes a base 10 and a main body 20. The base 10 is circular in a planar shape, and the main body 20 is supported on the base 10 so as to be tiltable in a vertical plane. The base 10 and the main body 20 are connected by an angle adjusting device which will be described later. The base 10 can also be used in a table-mounted state as shown in FIG. 1, and a wall hanging with the bottom face facing the wall as shown in FIG. 6 using a wall hanging hole (not shown) on the bottom. It is also possible to use it in a state.

The front side of the housing 21 of the main body 20 is configured as the operation unit 22 in the right third of the whole, and the cradle unit 23 is configured in the left third. The operation unit 22 includes a key group 24 such as a numeric keypad, a jog key, and various function keys, and a display unit 25 using a liquid crystal panel. The cradle part 23 is provided with a switch lever 26 that opens and closes a telephone line and a raised part 27 that holds the handset 40. The handset 40 is connected to the main body 20 with a curl cord (not shown).

The holding of the handset 40 by the raised portion 27 will be described. When viewed from the front, the raised portion 27 has an oval shape that is long in the vertical direction, and a projection 28 that protrudes in the major axis direction of the oval is formed at the upper end. An oval hole 43 for receiving the raised portion 27 is formed between the transmitting portion 41 and the receiving portion 42 (see FIG. 9) of the handset 40. A recess 44 for receiving the protrusion 28 is formed at the upper end of the hole 43. By fitting the raised portion 27 into the hole 43 and engaging the protrusion 28 with the concave portion 44, the handset 40 is held by the cradle portion 23 with little backlash. The held handset 40 can be detached from the raised portion 27 only by shifting it diagonally upward. Therefore, this holding structure is resistant to vibrations such as earthquakes. Regardless of how the angle of the main body 20 is adjusted by the angle adjusting device, the handset 40 can be held by the combination of the raised portion 27 and the protrusion 28.

The hole 43 is blocked by a transparent synthetic resin panel 45 (see FIG. 9) and is not transparent. The panel 45 constitutes a part of the surface of the back side of the handset 40 (the side without the mouthpiece or earpiece). The top of the raised portion 27 is also composed of a transparent synthetic resin panel 29 (see FIG. 9). The panel 29 is illuminated with an LED 30. The LED 30 is mounted on the surface of an electronic circuit board 31 disposed in the main body 20. A reflector 32 is combined with the LED 30 so that light emitted from the LED 30 is concentrated on the panel 29.

The cradle portion 23 is provided with a switch lever 26 at a location above the raised portion 27. The tip of the switch lever 26 protrudes from a through hole 33 formed in the cradle part 23. When the handset 40 is hung on the raised portion 27, the switch lever 26 is pushed by the receiver 42,
The telephone 1 is in a line open state. When the handset 40 is removed from the raised portion 27, the switch lever 26 protrudes, and the telephone 1 is in a line closing state.

Then, the structure of the angle adjustment apparatus 50 which connects the base 10 and the main-body part 20 is demonstrated based on FIGS. 10-12. The angle adjusting device 50 has a portion fixed to the base 10 and a portion fixed to the main body 20. A metal base 51 is the center of the portion fixed to the base 10. The pedestal 51 is formed by bending a sheet metal into a U-shaped cross section, and provided with a pair of vertical portions 51V arranged parallel to each other at intervals on both sides of a central portion 51C screwed to the base 10. It is in shape. The vertical portion 51V enters the inside of the main body 20 through the slit 34 (see FIG. 3) formed in the housing 21.

The pair of vertical portions 51 </ b> V that have entered the main body 20 have a shape that sandwiches a metal tilting base 52 fixed to the inner surface of the main body 20. Similar to the pedestal 51, the tilting table 52 is a sheet metal bent in a U-shaped cross section, and a pair of parallelly arranged on both sides of the central portion 52C screwed to the housing 21 with a space between each other. A vertical support plate 52V is provided. In accordance with the shape of the side surface of the casing 21, the support plate 52V is formed in a crescent shape in which the periphery of the circle is cut off with a string.

The pair of support plates 52 </ b> V are formed with arc grooves 53 that protrude toward the base 10. The pair of vertical portions 51V support the support shafts 54 and 55 that pierce the pair of arc grooves 53 at both ends of the shaft. The support shafts 54 and 55 are horizontal and are arranged in parallel with a space therebetween. When the circular arc groove 53 is slid with respect to the support shafts 54 and 55, the tilting base 52 undergoes the same circular motion as rotating around the center of the circular arc. This circular motion appears as a tilt of the main body 20 in the vertical plane.

The tilting base 52 and the pedestal 51 are relatively movable between an angle at which the support shaft 54 hits one end of the arc groove 53 and an angle at which the support shaft 55 hits the other end of the arc groove 53. The angle adjusting device 50 includes a mechanism for stopping the relative movement at several intermediate positions. The mechanism is as follows.

First, a plurality of engaging portions 56 are scattered along the arc groove 53. The engaging portion 56 is formed by a notch formed on the inner surface above the arc groove 53. And the latch 57 provided in the base 51 is engaged with one of the engaging parts 56, and the relative movement of the support plate 52V and the base 51 is stopped.

The latch 57 includes a shaft 58 that engages with the notch, and links 59 that connect both ends of the shaft 58 to both ends of the support shaft 54. The latch 57 is always biased in the clockwise direction in FIG. 11, that is, in the direction in which the shaft 58 engages with the engaging portion 56 by the tension coil spring 60 that connects the link 59 and the vertical portion 51 </ b> V.

It is the operating lever 61 that removes the latch 57 from the engaging portion 56. The operation lever 61 is attached to the vertical portion 51 </ b> V by a shaft 62 outside the housing 21 of the main body 20. The shaft 58 supports the arm 63 on the outside of the tilting table 52, and a bridge portion 64 connects the arms 63 on both sides. The operation lever 61 passes over the bridge portion 64. A stopper 65 is provided on the base 10 to prevent the operation lever 61 from hitting the casing 21 because the operation lever 61 hits the casing 21 and makes a noise when left free.

An elastic member 66 made of a block of rubber or soft synthetic resin is fixed to the base 10 with a metal fitting 67. The elastic member 66 abuts against the outer surface of the casing 21 and applies an upward force to the main body portion 20 and functions to prevent the backlash by bringing the inner surface below the arc groove 53 into contact with the support shafts 54 and 55.

FIG. 4 shows a state in which the telephone 1 is taken out from the packing box and placed on the table as it is. When the end of the operation lever 61 is pushed down with a finger, a force is applied from the operation lever 61 to the latch 57 through the bridge portion 64 and from the bridge portion 64 through the arm 63, and the latch 57 comes out of the current engagement portion 56. In this state, the inclination of the main body 20 is changed, and the finger is released from the operation lever 61 when the desired angle is approached. If the inclination of the main body portion 20 is slightly changed as it is, the latch 57 is engaged with the nearest engaging portion 56 by the force of the tension coil spring 60. Thereby, the main-body part 20 settles at a substantially desired angle. FIG. 5 illustrates a state in which the angle of the main body 20 is adjusted closer to the horizontal than in FIG.

Even when the telephone 1 is used in a wall-mounted state, the operation lever 61 can change the angle of the main body 20. In FIG. 6, the handset 40 is substantially vertical, but in the state of FIG. 7, the handset 40 is slanted. In consideration of the ease of taking the handset 40 and the ease of viewing the display unit 25, it may be fixed at an appropriate angle.

The present invention can be widely used for telephones of a type that can be used for both desktop and wall mounting.
