Description

The present invention relates to a method for repairing artificial marble capable of easily repairing scratches generated on the surface of artificial marble, and a resin solution for repairing artificial marble used therefor.

Artificial marble is used as a high-grade material because it has an unsaturated polyester resin or acrylic resin as a base material, is excellent in design, impact resistance, and maintainability, and has excellent workability compared to natural marble. In particular, solid solid materials are often used as luxury interior materials. However, when scratched with a material that is harder than artificial marble, the scratch marks are whitened and easily noticeable, and in particular, the darker color with low L value of the color system color representation typified by black color whitens the scratches. , The presence of the defect becomes noticeable.

In order to repair such defects, there is a repair method in which solid solid materials are polished sequentially with sandpaper, etc., and after removing the defects completely, the sanding part and the surrounding product surface have the same gloss. Patent Document 1). However, in order to efficiently remove the defective portion by sanding, it is necessary to perform sanding step by step in the order of the medium count after the polishing with the coarse count abrasive and the same finish count as the target product surface. In addition, a smooth surface cannot be obtained unless the sanding range is wide according to the depth of the scratch. In addition, a method of filling the defective part with a repair agent made of the same raw material as the putty and product and finishing it almost the same as the product surface by sanding has been introduced, but the sanding count is gradually raised to increase the gloss of the product part The gloss of the repair part must be matched. Even if repairing is performed in this way, it is difficult to match the gloss between the sanding part and the peripheral product surface, and there is a problem that the repairing part is easily noticeable. In such a case, it is necessary to finish the entire surface, requiring a lot of time and special skills.

In addition, for the purpose of repairing defective parts such as pinholes, chips and foreign matters generated on the surface of a molded product, a method of attaching a masking tape with transparency and making the repaired portion as small as possible (Patent Document 1) ) Has been reported. However, even in this method, the gloss of the repaired part must finally be matched with the product part by sanding, which requires a lot of time and special skills.

In addition, a method (Patent Document 2) has been reported in which a transparent film is covered with a photopolymerization resin and repaired without sanding (Patent Document 2), but requires special raw materials and equipment and is as small as a scratch. Not suitable for repair. Even if this repair method is adopted by removing a small repair part greatly, it is only possible to obtain the skin of the repair part by transferring the film surface, and it can not cope with various surface conditions from matte to glossy surface It requires a lot of time and special skills.

In addition, as a simple method in general homes, it is performed to make the wound whitened by applying a color marker, but only by applying a color marker to make the whitened wound inconspicuous, It may not be discolored at the time of cleaning, or cannot be filled with a defective recess, and the scratch may be enlarged.

The object of the present invention is to keep the repair trace to the minimum necessary, to have a smooth appearance, to make the repair part inconspicuous and durable, and to eliminate the need for much labor and time such as sanding, special technology and special equipment. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for repairing artificial marble and a resin solution for repairing artificial marble, which can easily repair a scratch generated on the surface without generating dust.

As a result of intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors used a resin liquid obtained by dissolving a film-forming resin in a solvent in a defective portion such as a sharp scratch or a scratch generated on the surface of an artificial marble. In other words, by forming the resin coating, it was found that the defect portion can be easily repaired without requiring labor and time such as sanding, special techniques and equipment.

Furthermore, after coloring using a similar color ink in the vicinity including the defective part, it was found that the color fading of the defective part can be suppressed by molding a resin coating using a substantially transparent resin liquid. It was.

Also, by removing the resin coating formed on the outer periphery of the defect using a solvent that can be dissolved, sanding or the like is unnecessary, and the resin coating is easily formed only on the defect without requiring labor. It was possible to make a limited repair trace, and obtained knowledge that the surface can be made smooth and natural as the original surface. Based on this knowledge, the present invention has been completed.

That is, the present invention relates to a method for repairing artificial marble in which a defect formed on the surface of an artificial marble is filled with a resin solution obtained by dissolving a film-forming resin in a solvent, and the solvent is volatilized to form a resin coating.

The present invention also relates to a resin solution for repairing artificial marble in which a film-forming resin that is insoluble in water at room temperature is dissolved in a solvent.

The artificial marble repair method of the present invention and the resin solution for repairing artificial marble used in this method have a minimum of repair marks, have a smooth appearance, make the repair part inconspicuous and have durability, sanding, etc. It eliminates the need for labor, time, special technology and special equipment, and can repair the scratches on the surface cleanly and easily without generating dust.

The artificial marble repair method of the present invention is a method in which a defect formed on the surface of an artificial marble is filled with a resin solution obtained by dissolving a film-forming resin in a solvent, and the solvent is volatilized to form a resin coating.

Artificial marble to which the repair method of the present invention is applied is based on polyester resin, acrylic resin, vinyl ester resin, etc., for example, inorganic fillers such as aluminum hydroxide are acrylic resin or unsaturated Filled with polyester resin to give natural stone appearance such as onyx and marble, or mixed with crushed stones such as quartz, mica and marble, and pulverized resin such as ABS resin and epoxy resin. In any form, such as a reproduction of natural stone-like colors and patterns.

As the defect portion generated on the surface of the artificial marble to which the artificial marble repair method of the present invention is applied, there is a particularly sharp deep scratch that has conventionally required a lot of labor, time and special equipment for the repair. it can. This is particularly effective for a defective portion having a narrower width of 0.5 mm or less.

The resin liquid used in the method for repairing artificial marble of the present invention is a liquid obtained by dissolving a film-forming resin in a solvent. The film-forming resin dissolved in the resin liquid is preferably insoluble in water at room temperature, specifically at 25 ° C. It can suppress that the resin coating shape | molded by the defect | deletion part melt | dissolves in water and is removed. Further, it is preferable that the film-forming resin is substantially transparent because the repaired portion can be made inconspicuous in any case where the artificial marble to be applied is colored. Specific examples of the film-forming resin include nitrocellulose, modified alkyd resin, acrylic ester or methacrylic ester copolymer, and polyurethane resin. These can be used alone or in combination of two or more. As content of film forming resin, it can be set as 5-20 mass% etc. with respect to the whole resin liquid, for example.

The solvent that dissolves the film-forming resin is preferably a solvent that can dissolve the film-forming resin and is volatile at room temperature. For example, alcohols such as ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, and butyl alcohol, acetic acid Examples thereof include esters such as ethyl and butyl acetate, and ketones such as acetone. These can be used alone or in combination of two or more. As content of a solvent, it can be 60-85 mass% etc. with respect to the whole resin liquid, for example.

It is preferable that the resin liquid containing these contains a plasticizer. The plasticizer has an action of suppressing the occurrence of cracking and peeling of the coating. The plasticizer can be appropriately selected depending on the film-forming resin used, and examples thereof include phthalic esters such as camphor and dibutyl phthalate, and esters such as an ester copolymer of glycerin and a fatty acid. . As content of a plasticizer, it can be 6-25 mass%, for example.

In addition, the resin liquid may contain a thickening agent such as silica in order to impart a viscosity having a spreadability that facilitates filling of the defect part, and a pigment for imparting color, etc. May be contained.

As the resin liquid as described above, a nail enamel, particularly a substantially transparent nail enamel, can be suitably applied. In addition, a substantially transparent instantaneous adhesive, lacquer, acrylic paint, or the like can be appropriately selected and used.

A method of repairing a defect portion generated on the surface of the artificial marble using such a resin liquid will be described below with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIG. 1, the surface of the defect portion and the surrounding area 2 b are colored with the same color ink as that of the artificial marble 1 before filling the defect portion 2 generated on the surface of the artificial marble 1 with the resin liquid. Is preferred. As the ink used for coloring the defective portion, an oil-based ink is preferable because the resin liquid is colored. As such an ink, the same inks used for felt pens, marking pens, etc. can be mentioned as preferable ones. The ink used for the felt pen or the marking pen is preferable because the pigment dissolved in the organic solvent after application is dried and cured in a few seconds to a few minutes and is excellent in workability.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, such an ink is applied using an applicator 3 to form an ink film 3a. A felt pen or a marking pen can be substituted for the applicator. Using an ink of the same color as that of artificial marble, the ink is applied to the surface of the defect portion and its periphery 2b to color this portion, thereby forming an ink film 3a including the ink film 3b formed on the periphery 2b of the defect portion.

As shown in FIG. 4, the resin liquid is filled on the defective portion formed by forming the ink film 3 a and the surrounding defect 2 b. Examples of the filling method of the resin liquid include a coating method such as blade coating. The application amount of the resin liquid is preferably in a range in which the resin coating formed after volatilization of the solvent extends to the periphery of the defect portion. The resin liquid filled in the defect portion dissolves and integrates the ink at the defect portion and the contact portion with the ink film 3a formed around the defect portion.

Thereafter, the solvent is volatilized from the resin portion filled in the defect portion and the periphery thereof, and a film-forming resin is deposited to form the resin coating 4. The volatilization of the solvent from the resin liquid can be performed by air drying in the air, but can be appropriately performed by heating to, for example, 50 ° C.

As shown in FIG. 5, the resin coating 4b formed on the outer periphery of the defect portion is removed using a solvent that can be dissolved. Solvents that can dissolve the resin coating 4b include solvents contained in the resin solution, esters such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, and polyglycerin fatty acid ester, ethers such as glycol ether, ketones such as acetone, thinner, and the like. These can be used alone or in combination. Using such a solvent, it can be wiped by infiltrating a fibrous material such as waste cloth, nonwoven fabric, and absorbent cotton, or a portion dissolved by a tool such as a spatula can be removed.

As shown in FIG. 6, the repair method of the artificial marble can reduce the repair mark to the minimum necessary and provide a smooth appearance.

The resin solution for repairing artificial marble of the present invention is a resin solution for repairing artificial marble in which a film-forming resin that is insoluble in water at room temperature is dissolved in a solvent. Can do.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to examples.
