Abstract
【課題】 マツ枯れ病などの有害寄生虫の防除と、宿主植物の成育を管理して、花粉症などの発生を軽減すること。

Description
本発明は農業、林業に関するものである。
周知の様に、松、楢、ブナ、モミ、ヒノキなどの立ち枯れが著しく、その原因としてゾウムシ、カミキリムシ、キクイムシなどのマツクイムシなど寄生虫、大気汚染、土壌など多くの原因が指摘されている。
また、花粉症の様に植林計画の予測錯誤による被害もあり、その対策が切望されている。

マツクイムシなどの寄生虫対策としては、特許第3560902号「植物の病害防除方法及び装置」の様に、化学薬剤による処理が行なわれているが、安全性、処理工程、価格など問題が多い。
化学薬剤を用いない、新しい植物成育方法の開発。
主体である宿主植物の健全な発育のために、その成育を寄生植物で制御する方法で解消する、寄生天敵の利用。
本発明は、宿主植物に対して従来有害とされた寄生植物を利用して、より以上有害であるマツクイムシなどの寄生虫の防除、花粉症の原因である過剰な発育などを制御する効果がある。
以下、本発明の形態を実施例で説明する。実施例で引用する寄生植物は、マツグミなどヤドリギ科植物は秦野市、相模原市などの神奈川県で採取したもの、宿主植物は都内園芸店で購入、または公園などで実施したものである。
アカマツ(Pinus densiflora Sieb et Zucc)の先端、地上約10mの枝部にカイガラムシの寄生があり、繁殖、拡大の懸念が生じた。この防除のために寄生植物であるヤドリギ科マツグミ(Taxillus kaempferi)をカイガラムシ繁殖部分の周辺に移植して経過を観察したところ、30日後にはカイガラムシは消滅した。
本例は移植方式であるが、寄生植物であるマツグミ、オオバヤドリギ、アカミヤドリギなどの種子を宿主植物に付着させ、自然に発芽生育させても同一の効果がえられる。
一般的学説では、マツグミなどのヤドリギ属(Viscum Linn)は宿主植物に有害なので排除すべきだ、との意見が主流であるが、マツグミなどの寄生植物は、宿主植物との量的関係が問題であり、マツクイムシなどの有害動物に対しては、むしろマツを保護する効果も認められる。「敵の敵は味方」と言う諺」があるが、本発明はその一例である。
なお、マツ枯れ病の原因は多様であり、各植物の病原抵抗性が異なりマツクイムシなどに対し使用するヤドリギの量的指示は難しい。
宿主植物の健全な生育が可能で、寄生害虫の制圧が出来るヤドリギの付着、生育手段は各状況に対応して判断するが、概略の表現では宿主植物の葉面積の100分の1、枝重量では50分の1以下であれば宿主植物に影響は無い様である。病原菌、寄生植物の寄生性分化、品種とレースの関係には多数の研究があるが、本件についても宿主植物と寄生植物の量的関係を上記の様に指定する。なお、スギ(Cruptomeria japonica D Don)は樹皮が厚く、寄生植物は少なくマツグミなどヤドリギ科植物は品種、レースからみて寄生不能と考えられていたが、小規模の生育実験では寄生出来る。この成果は花粉症防除に役立つと推定される。

本出願明細書に記載する葉面積については国土交通省国土技術政策総合研究所の大橋征幹氏、飛鳥建設(株)の神山健二氏等が具体的算定を述べており、枝重量についても林業関係報告にみられるので、宿主植物全体との対比である。またスギ以外のヒノキなどにはヤドリギは寄生可能で、有力な花粉症対策として期待が出来る。
Claims (1)
- 宿主植物の地上部葉面積の100分の1、または枝部分重量の50分の1以下の形態を有するヤドリギなど寄生植物を、宿主植物の患部周辺又は必要箇所に設置して、宿主植物の発育を規制する、寄生植物を利用する宿主植物の管理方法。
