Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detaching a fishhook solving the problem that, conventionally, such a device is mainly suited for detaching a fishhook hooked on the mouth of a fish rather than detaching a swallowed fishhook. <P>SOLUTION: The device for detaching a fishhook is so designed that, when the tip 2 thereof is to be brought into the depth of the mouth of a fish, for making the action easy, the tip 2 is made round, and for trapping a fishline and a fishhook's root, a groove 5 is provided. Further, the center of the body is furnished with unevennesses 4 so as to be hard for the fishline to slip, and the rear end 3 of the body is furnished with roundness and a groove in the same manner as at the tip.
