Description

The present invention relates to a corrugated tube cutter, and more particularly to a cutter capable of easily and accurately cutting a valley bottom portion even with a corrugated tube having a double structure.

For example, when laying cables and wires under the walls and floors of buildings or in the ground, flexible corrugated pipes are buried in the walls, under the floor, or underground, and cables and wires are inserted into the corrugated pipes. A method of protecting electric wires is widely adopted.

When laying the corrugated tube described above, an operator may have to cut to an appropriate length according to the situation at the site.

Conventionally, a chevron guide is provided at the tip of the cutter body, and a corrugated guide with a cutting blade protruding in the center is provided so that it can move forward and backward from the cutter body toward the receiver. A tube is inserted between the receiver and the guide. After that, the corrugated guide is advanced and fitted into the corrugated portion of the tube, so that the cutting blade is cut into the peak portion of the corrugated tube, and the cutting blade is rotated around the tube to cut the tube. Corrugated tube cutters have been proposed (Patent Document 1, Patent Document 2, Patent Document 3).

In addition, a recess is formed in the cutter body, and a cutting blade is provided on the inner edge of the recess, and the tube is pushed into the recess so that the cutting edge of the cutting blade is cut into the crest of the corrugated tube. There has been proposed a corrugated tube cutter in which a grip is rotated around the corrugated tube to cut a peak portion of the corrugated tube (Patent Documents 4 and 5).

In the corrugated tube cutter described in Patent Documents 4 and 5, the corrugated tube described in Patent Documents 1 to 3 can be used to perform a cutting operation by holding the grip with one hand and holding the corrugated tube with the other hand. It is easier to handle than a cutter.

特開平11−198094号公報JP-A-11-198094 特開平10−277835号公報Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-277835 実公平06−5049号公報No. 06-5049 特許第3234289号公報Japanese Patent No. 3234289 特許第3571809号公報Japanese Patent No. 3571809

Recently, a corrugated pipe having a double structure in which a flexible corrugated outer pipe is externally fitted on the outside of the flexible inner pipe tends to be adopted as a drain pipe. In the case of the corrugated pipe having such a double structure, when the cutting blade is cut at the peak portion of the corrugation, not only is a gap formed between the inner pipe and the corrugated outer pipe, but the cutting blade is protruded greatly to be cut. It is necessary to cut the inner tube accurately. Therefore, in the case of a double-structure corrugated tube, it is desirable to cut the cutting blade by cutting the cutting edge into the valley bottom.

However, in the corrugated tube cutters described in Patent Documents 4 and 5, if the cutting blade is to be cut into the bottom of the corrugated tube, it is necessary to project the cutting blade into the recess so that the cutting blade is corrugated at the start of cutting. It easily deforms due to resistance from the tube. Moreover, due to the structure of the cutter, the cutting edge of the cutting blade is cut into the corrugated tube while the corrugated tube is being pushed into the recess of the cutter body while the two outer peripheral surfaces of the corrugated tube are in contact with each other. Therefore, there is a possibility that the cutting edge of the cutting blade is cut in a state where the posture of the corrugated tube is not stable.

As a result, the cutting edge of the cutting blade is cut obliquely, for example, it is not accurately cut into the corrugated tube, the line that was cut when the grip goes around the corrugated tube does not return to the position where the cutting started, and the knife It is not only troublesome because it is necessary to cut off with a tool such as the above, but when this double-structure corrugated pipe is used as a drain pipe, it is difficult to connect the cut portion, and there is a concern about problems such as drainage leakage.

This invention makes it a subject to provide the corrugated tube cutter which made it possible to cut | disconnect a valley bottom part correctly even if it is a corrugated tube of a double structure in view of this problem.

Therefore, the corrugated tube cutter according to the present invention is a corrugated tube cutter for cutting a valley bottom portion of a flexible corrugated tube, a cutter body in which a recess capable of pushing the corrugated tube is formed, and a grip provided on the cutter body And at least three inner edges and a rear edge of the recess of the cutter body, and contact the valley slope, valley bottom or mountain top located on the side of the valley bottom to be cut of the corrugated pipe. Between the positioning portion for positioning the corrugated tube in a cutting posture by contact, a cutting position projecting into the recess in the cutter body, and an avoidance position avoiding the corrugated tube from the cutting position in the rotation direction at the time of cutting. In the state where the corrugated tube is pushed into the recess and positioned in the cutting posture by the positioning portion. By rotating about the central axis of the corrugated tube, the cutting edge at the avoidance position is cut into the valley bottom of the corrugated tube, and the grip is further rotated to swing toward the decision position. And a spring member that urges the cutting blade toward the cutting position from the avoidance position.

One of the features of the present invention is that after the corrugated tube is pushed into the recess of the cutter body and positioned in a cutting posture with at least three positioning portions, the cutting edge of the cutting blade is cut into the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube. It is in the point made. As a result, the cutting edge of the cutting blade can be reliably cut into the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube in a stable posture.

Another feature of the present invention resides in that the cutting blade is provided so as to be swingable, and the cutting blade is biased from the avoidance position toward the cutting position by a spring member. As a result, when the grip is started to rotate around the corrugated tube, the cutting blade can be cut into the valley bottom of the corrugated tube while the cutting blade protrudes slightly into the recess and is not easily deformed. It is possible to cut accurately and straightly into a desired position of the bottom of the valley.

As a result, when the grip is further rotated, the cutting blade swings to the cutting position and in this state cuts the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube. Since the cutting can be accurately and straightly made at a desired position, the cutting line returns to the initial cutting position when the cutting is completed, and the cutting can be performed accurately.

The shape and material of the cutter main body are not particularly limited as long as a recess capable of pushing the corrugated tube is formed. For example, the cutter main body can adopt a shape in which a concave portion having an inverted saddle shape, an inverted U shape, or a semicircular arc shape is formed from the bottom of an arbitrary side shape such as a rectangular side shape or a semicircular shape on the side surface. The cutter body can be made of a metal material such as stainless steel, or a hard plastic material or other material.

The grip and the material are not particularly limited as long as the grip is provided integrally with the cutter body and can be gripped by an operator. For example, the grip may be made of a stainless steel plate or the like and manufactured integrally with the cutter body, or the synthetic resin material may be made of a metal material and fixed to the cutter body.

It is important that the positioning portions are provided at at least three locations of the front and rear inner edges and the rear edge of the recess of the cutter body. This is because the posture of the corrugated tube can be stably maintained. Moreover, the positioning part should just be a shape which can contact | abut to any one of the valley slope, the valley bottom part, or the mountain peak part located in the side of the valley bottom part which should be cut | disconnected of a corrugated tube. For example, the positioning portion may have a cross-sectional shape that can make point contact with a valley bottom portion, a valley slope, or a mountain top portion, for example, a rectangular cross-section, or a cross-sectional shape that can make surface contact with a valley bottom portion or a valley slope.

Further, the positioning portion may be brought into contact with any one of the valley slope, the valley bottom portion, or the mountain top portion located on one side of the valley bottom portion to be cut, but the corrugated tube posture is more sure. Therefore, the positioning portions are provided at six locations on both sides of the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube to be cut at the inner and front inner and rear edges of the concave portion of the cutter body, and the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube to be cut is provided. It is preferable to make it contact | abut to the trough slope located in both sides, a trough bottom part, or a summit part.

As long as the cutting blade can cut the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube, the material and the shape of the blade tip portion are not particularly limited. For example, the cutting edge portion of the cutting blade can have an arc shape, a rectangular shape, a triangular shape, or the like. Further, it is important that the cutting blade is provided in the cutter body so as to be able to swing between a cutting position protruding into the recess and an avoidance position avoiding the corrugated tube in the rotation direction at the time of cutting from the cutting position. This is because the cutting edge can be accurately cut into the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube in a state in which the cutting blade protrudes slightly and is not easily deformed.

In addition, the cutting blade may be swingably mounted directly on the cutter body with a mounting pin, etc., but it can swing on the cutter body via a holder that holds the posture so that it is difficult to be deformed during swinging or cutting. Preferably it is attached. That is, it is preferable to reduce or suppress deformation when the cutting edge of the cutting blade is cut into the valley bottom of the corrugated tube by swingably supporting the cutting blade within the slit of the holder.

If a holder can accommodate a cutting blade in a slit, a shape and material will not be specifically limited. For example, the holder can be manufactured using a synthetic resin material or a metal material. In addition, the cutting blade and holder may be provided so as not to be removable from the cutter body. However, if the number of times of cutting of the corrugated tube increases, the cutting blade will not be sharp, so the cutting blade and holder can be replaced with the cutter body. It is good to install.

In addition, a protrusion that fits into the valley of the bottom of the corrugated tube to be cut is formed on the holder so that the cutting edge of the cutting blade is not easily deformed when being cut into the bottom of the corrugated tube. It is preferable to form a slit across the center of the part.

The cutter of the present invention can be applied to the cutting of a single corrugated tube, but is applied to the cutting of a double-structure corrugated tube in which a flexible corrugated outer tube is externally fitted to a flexible inner tube. The trough bottom of the tube can be cut accurately. As a result, when a corrugated pipe having a double structure is used as a drain pipe, the cut portion can be accurately connected, and the risk of drainage leakage and the like can be eliminated.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on specific examples shown in the drawings. 1 to 4 show a preferred embodiment of a corrugated tube cutter according to the present invention. The corrugated tube cutter of this example has a structure in which the cutter main body 10 and the clip 11 are integrally provided, and two stainless steels are punched into the shape of the cutter main body 10 and the clip 11 and the two stainless steels are between them. The spacer 12 and the cutting blade unit are interposed between the bolts and the nuts 13 so as to be fixed to each other.

The cutter body 10 has a shape in which an arcuate recess 10A having a size capable of pushing the corrugated tube 30 to be cut into the bottom of the side semicircular is formed, and the corrugated tube is formed on both front and rear edges and the rear edge of the recess 10A. Side surface arc-shaped positioning portions 10B, 10C, and 10D are bulged and formed at six locations on both sides of the valley bottom portion to be cut, and valley portions 30D and 30E located on both sides of the valley bottom portion to be cut of the corrugated tube 30 are formed. The corrugated tube 30 is positioned in the cutting posture C in contact with the bottom of the valley.

A cutting blade unit is sandwiched between front portions of the cutter body 10. This cutting blade unit includes a synthetic resin holder 14, a cutting blade 15 and a protective cover 16. A slit 14A is formed across the center of the holder 14, and the cutting blade 15 and the protective cover 16 swing. Recesses 14B and 14C are formed, and a cutting blade 15 is swingably mounted between the cutting position A and the avoidance position B by a mounting pin 15A in the slit 14A and the recess 14B. A spring member 15B is attached to urge the cutting blade 15 to swing from the avoidance position B toward the cutting position A.

The cutting blade 15 has a triangular shape with a sharp cutting edge, the concave portion 14B of the holder 14 has an extension line of the cutting edge directed to the center of the corrugated tube 30 at the cutting position A, and an extension line of the cutting edge at the avoidance position B. Is formed in a shape that intersects the outer surface of the corrugated tube 30 at a small angle with respect to its tangential direction.

A protective cover 16 is housed in the recess 14C of the holder 14 and is attached so as to be able to swing around the mounting pin 16A. The protective cover 16 is urged to swing toward the cutting blade 15 by a spring member 16B. When not in use, the cutting blade of the cutting blade 15 is covered so that the operator's fingers are not accidentally damaged.

Further, the holder 14 is formed with a projecting portion 14D that rises in an arc shape, and the slit 14A crosses the center of the projecting portion 14D. The corrugated tube 30 is positioned in the determined posture C together with the fitting portions 10B, 10C, and 10D.

In the corrugated tube cutter of this example, as shown in FIG. 2 before use, the cutting blade 15 is oscillated and urged to the cutting position A by a spring member 15B and protrudes into the recess 10A, and the protective cover 16 is a spring member. The cutting blade of the cutting blade 15 is covered by being oscillated and biased by 16B.

The corrugated tube 30 is configured by fitting a flexible corrugated outer tube 30B to a flexible inner tube 30A. When cutting this double-structured corrugated tube 30 using the corrugated tube cutter of this example, the grip 11 is held with one hand, the corrugated tube 30 is held with the other hand, and the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube 30 to be cut is The corrugated tube 30 is pushed into the recess 10 </ b> A of the cutter body 10 so as to come to the position of the cutting blade 15.

Then, as shown in FIG. 3, while the positioning portions 10B and 10C are in sliding contact with the valley portions 30D and 30E on both sides of the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube 30 to be cut, the corrugated tube 30 faces the recess 10A toward the back. When the recess 10A is completely pushed into the back, the valley portions 30D and 30E on both sides of the valley portion to be cut of the corrugated tube 30 come into contact with the three positioning portions 10B, 10C and 10D, As a result, the corrugated tube 30 is positioned in a stable cutting posture C.

At this time, the cutting blade 15 is pushed by the corrugated tube 30 toward the back of the recess 10A and is swung from the cutting position A toward the avoidance position B, and the protective cover 16 is also pushed by the corrugated tube 30 to form the recess 10A. It is swung to the back of the.

The cutting blade 15 in the above-described avoidance position is in a state where the extension line of the cutting blade intersects the outer surface of the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube 30 at a small angle, and the cutting blade 15 is cut at the cutting position A by the spring member 15B. It is urged to swing toward.

Therefore, when the grip 11 is rotated downward around the central axis of the corrugated tube 30, the cutting edge of the cutting blade 30 is cut into the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube 30 to be cut. The six positioning portions 10B, 10C, and 10D are fitted into the valley portions 30D and 30E on both sides of the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube 30 to be cut, and the protrusion 14D of the holder 14 is the valley bottom of the corrugated tube 30 to be cut. The corrugated tube 30 is fitted into the valley 30C of the portion, the corrugated tube 30 is positioned in a stable posture, and the projection 14D of the holder 14 fitted into the valley 30C of the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube 30 to be cut is the cutting blade 15 Therefore, the cutting blade 15 is not easily deformed even when competing with the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube 30, and the cutting edge of the cutting blade 15 is accurately and straightly cut into the valley bottom portion of the valley portion 30C.

When the clip 11 is further rotated in this state, the cutting blade 30 is swung to the cutting position A by the resistance force of the corrugated tube 30 and the biasing force of the spring member 15A, and the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube 30 is cut. Since the cutting edge of the cutting blade 15 is accurately and straightly cut into the bottom of the valley as shown, when the grip 11 is rotated around the corrugated tube 30, the tip of the cut line is accurately positioned at the start of cutting. Returning to FIG. 2, the valley bottom portion of the corrugated tube 30 is cut straight.

In the above example, the positioning portions 10B, 10C, and 10D are provided on the left and right sides so as to be fitted into the valley portions 30D and 30E on both sides of the valley bottom portion to be cut. Good. Further, the positioning portions 10B, 10C, and 10D may be positioned by being brought into contact with not the valley bottom portion but the slope or the mountain top portion of the valley portion.

Furthermore, although the positioning portions 10B, 10C, and 10D have a rectangular cross-sectional shape that makes point contact with the valley bottom portion, they may have a cross-sectional shape that makes surface contact with the valley bottom portion, valley slope, or mountain top portion. The protective cover 16 is preferably provided for safety, but is not necessarily provided.

Since the cutting edge 15 has its cutting edge cut into the valley bottom with its extended line intersecting the valley bottom of the corrugated tube 30 at a small angle, the deformation of the cutting blade 15 due to the cutting resistance is small. Therefore, the protrusion 14D of the holder 14 that supports the cutting blade 15 is not necessarily provided.
