Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that gaps between the upper nose and cheeks in wearing a general mask often let air out through the recessed portion between a nose and cheeks and the mask, which results in a sharp drop in filtering effect or which makes glasses fogged due to exhaled breath when it is cold, that a mask shaped to be completely fitted on the face surface would be too expensive if it is effective, and would be ineffective if it is inexpensive, and that a mask provided with a wire or a metal plate for shaping at the top could not stop the air leakage, because even the bent upper part, to be fitted on the nose shape, would often get stretched by rubber bands on both ends. <P>SOLUTION: The top of this mask 1 is provided with a small pad 3 made of a soft fiber or sponge to be fitted on the face surface, filling in the portion 2 corresponding to hollows between the nose and the cheeks. The pad 3 is equipped with an adhesive material 4 (an adhesive agent, an adhesive tape or the like) for adhering to the mask 1. Description

  The present invention relates to a mask applied to a face for medical use, home use, business use and the like.

  Many conventional general masks leave a gap in the dent between the nose and cheeks. Some of them are molded to fit the face, and some have a shaping wire or metal plate on top of the mask.

  In a general mask, air leaks from a recess between the upper nose and cheeks, and the filter effect is significantly reduced. When it is cold, the exhaled breath comes out from the top and the glasses become cloudy.

  Masks molded to fit the face are expensive if they are highly effective, and low-cost masks are often ineffective. Also, a mask with a shaping wire or metal plate at the top is often stretched to create a gap because both sides are pulled by rubber even when bent into a nose shape.

  A small pad made of a material that fits softly into the face, such as fiber or sponge, is applied to the recess between the nose and cheeks above the mask.

  Adhesive or adhesive tape for bonding to the mask is attached to the pad. Adhesives can be easily attached and removed, and pads are disposable.

Since the pad prevents air leakage, the filter effect of the mask material is fully alive.

Since the exhaled breath cannot escape from the upper part of the mask toward the glasses, the glasses will not fog up.

The pad can be made inexpensive because it is simply a pad with an adhesive.

Masks can only be made of combustible materials, so there is no need to separate them when they are discarded.

The pad is hygienic because it is disposable.

  As shown in FIG. 1, a pad 2 (integral type or separate type) is attached to a mask 1.

  As shown in FIG. 2, the integrated pad is obtained by attaching an adhesive 5 to the integrated pad material 3.

  As shown in FIG. 3, the separate pad is obtained by attaching an adhesive 5 to a separate pad material 4.

  The pad shall be of a material that does not deform or fluff when attached or removed.

  The adhesive applied to the pad should be such that no adhesive remains on the mask when the pad is removed from the mask.

  INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be used for household, medical facilities, industrial antibacterial and dustproof masks.

  When wearing a mask, a gap is created in the dent between the nose and cheeks. Accordingly, a disposable mask pad characterized in that a soft material that fits the face, such as fiber or sponge, can be molded into a gap shape, padded, and attached to the position above the mask.   A disposable mask pad that features disposables, with an adhesive, adhesive tape, etc. attached to the pad for easy attachment and removal.   A disposable mask pad that can be selected as a separate pad for the left and right and an integrated type for the left and right.
