Description

The present invention relates to a gate for infants and pets attached to a passage such as a corridor, a staircase, and an entrance.

In order to prevent accidents of infants and pets, it is known to provide a gate for an infant having a door that can be opened and closed in a passage such as a corridor and a doorway.
In this type of gate for infants, etc., a locking device is provided on the upper part of the door where the infant cannot reach. However, when the locking device is released, as shown in FIG. In general, it can be opened to both the front and back sides.
When such a gate for an infant is attached to the upper passage with the stairs, there is a risk that the parent or the like may fall down the stairs when the parent or the like climbs the stairs and opens the gate to the near side.
In Patent Document 1, the engagement means is provided on both the front and rear sides of the support frame (non-movable frame), and the engagement is performed on the door side even if the door is lifted up by providing a difference in height between the front and rear engaged portions. Disclosed is a technology that restricts the opening and closing direction of the door so that the portion cannot get over the engaged portion on the higher side.
However, the climbing direction of the stairs varies depending on the building, and there is a difference between the right-opening and the left-opening depending on the user's preference. However, in the door opening direction regulating structure described in Patent Document 1, the door is moved up and down. Therefore, the engaged means is provided on the support frame side, and the restriction on the opening direction of the door cannot be freely changed.
In addition, when attaching a gate for infants to the entrance, there is a need to prevent it from being opened outdoors in order to prevent dangers such as unlocking of the lock operation part. The regulatory direction is different.
Therefore, there is a demand for a gate for infants that can respond to diversified needs by freely selecting and using a state in which the door can be opened both forward and backward and a state in which the door is restricted to open only to either the front or back. Yes.

In view of the above-mentioned background art, the present invention makes it easy to change the opening / closing direction of a door and whether or not to open and close the door according to various needs such as when installed in a corridor, entrance, or passage above a staircase. The purpose is to provide a gate for infants and pets that can prevent accidents such as falls of infants.

The gate for infants and pets according to the invention of claim 1 is a door mounting member that can be opposed to the opposing surface of the passageway, and a door pivotally attached to the door mounting member of one opposing surface so as to be rotatable about a vertical axis. A locking device comprising: a receiving portion provided on the door mounting member on the other facing surface; and an operating portion for operating the engaging member provided on the door to engage with the receiving portion; It has a stopper that can regulate the opening direction to be opened and can be fixed to the door.
Here, the door mounting member is for attaching the door to the passageway, and if it can be placed on the opposite surface of the passageway, it is integrally formed in a frame shape even if separated from each other. Any shape or structure may be used.
The door only needs to be able to block the passage by closing, and may be a fence or a panel.
The lock device only needs to be able to lock and unlock the opening and closing of the door, and may be a manual type or an automatic type.
The stopper is attached to the door so as to restrict the door to open so that the door can be opened only to one of the front and rear sides.

The invention according to claim 2 is suitable for preventing unintentional accidents of infants and pets by being attached to a hill, an upper passage of a staircase, a doorway, etc. A door mounting member that can be installed, a door pivotally mounted on a door mounting member on one opposing surface, and a receiving portion provided on the door mounting member on the other opposing surface, and the receiving portion. A locking device comprising an operating portion for operating an engaging member provided on the door, and a stopper capable of regulating the opening direction from the front and rear double doors to the single door and fixing the door to the door. It is for mounting near the mouth.

The invention according to claim 3 is characterized in that the stopper can be fixed to the door so that the opening direction of the door can be selectively restricted to either the front or the rear.
As a result, when installing a gate for infants or pets on the hill side of a corridor with a step, the upper passage of a staircase, the entrance, etc., only toward the hill side and the upper side of the stairs, Only the stopper mounting side can be selected so that the door opens.

In this case, as in the invention described in claim 4, if the stopper is to be attached to the door also as an attachment member for attaching the operation portion of the lock device, a separate part for attaching the stopper is unnecessary. Therefore, the installation space is also small.

In the fifth aspect of the invention, the door mounting member has a tension member protruding toward the wall surface of the passageway, and the wall surface is attached with a receiving member having a non-slip locking portion to receive the tension member. It is characterized by being non-slidable.
The tension member has the role of adjusting the width dimension when the gap between the narrowed portion of the passage and the gate width do not match and the role of securely fixing the gate between the walls on both sides of the passage, but the abutment between the tension member and the wall If the part slides for some reason, the infant and pet gates will come off and cause a serious accident. Therefore, a receiving member having a non-slip locking part can be attached to receive the tension member.
Here, the wall surface means a wall for installing a gate, and includes a pillar, a frame, and the like that are provided in the passage portion.

The invention according to claim 6 is characterized in that the door mounting member is fixed to the wall surface with a fixing tool as a method of preventing the sliding of the door mounting member.

In the present invention, since the stopper that regulates the opening direction of the front and rear so that the door can be opened one side can be fixed to the door, if the stopper is not attached to the door, it can be opened both front and back. When a stopper is attached to the door so that the opening direction can be selectively restricted to either the front or back, when installing a gate for infants and pets on the hillside with a step, the upper passage of the stairs, the entrance, etc. In addition, the stopper mounting side can be selected so that the door opens only on the hill side and the upper side of the stairs or on the indoor side only.
In particular, if a stopper is attached so that the door opens only toward the hill side and the upper side of the stairs, when the parent climbs the stairs and welcomes the infant, the infant etc. will enter the hallway on the stairs until the door is opened to the back side. You must be there, and you can afford to have more time for your parents.
When the stopper is attached to the door also as an attachment member for attaching the operation unit of the lock device, a separate part for attaching the stopper is not necessary, and a compact door opening direction regulating device is obtained.
The door mounting member has a tension member that protrudes toward the wall surface, and the wall surface is attached with a receiving member having a non-slip locking portion to receive the tension member, or the door mounting member is fixed to the wall surface with a fixing tool. In this case, it is possible to reliably prevent the gate from sliding from the wall surface, so that it is possible to prevent the infant and pet gates from coming off and leading to a major accident.

Embodiments of infant and pet gates according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows an example in which an infant and pet gate 10 (hereinafter simply referred to as an infant gate) is attached to the upper passage 2 of the staircase 1 and shows a state in which the passage wall on the near side is deleted for the sake of clarity.
The infant gate 10 is attached between the passage wall on the near side (not shown) and the passage wall 3 on the back side of the upper stairs passage 2 to prevent the infant from unexpectedly falling off the stairs.

The embodiment of the infant gate 10 shown in FIGS. 1 to 6 includes a door mounting member 20 and a door 30, and the door mounting member 20 is provided on both side walls of the passageway. It is a frame type in which a hinge side mounting member 21 whose edge is pivoted and an opening / closing side mounting member 22 positioned on the edge side where the door 30 opens and closes are connected by a lower frame 23.
As shown in FIG. 3, the door 30 forms a door frame with an upper frame 30a, a lower frame 30b, and left and right vertical frames 30c and 30d, and a plurality of frame bars 30e are provided in the frame to form a fence. It is.
In addition, a door is not limited to this Example, A panel shape may be sufficient.
The hinge side mounting member 21 and the opening / closing side mounting member 22 have adjusters 80 attached to the upper and lower portions, and as shown in FIG. 8, the tension member 80b is projected and retracted by the support rod 80a by adjusting the rotation of the adjuster 80. It is like that.
On the wall surface side, a receiving member 81 is fixed using a fixing member 81b such as a screw. The receiving member 81 is provided with a recess 81a for receiving the distal end portion of the tension member 80b and a rising piece-like locking portion 81c. Yes, even if the tension member 80b slides sideways, it is caught by the locking portion 81c, and the infant gate is not removed.
Thus, as illustrated in FIG. 1, the adjuster is slightly loosened, and even if a large external force is applied to the infant gate, the infant gate does not come off and is safe.
In particular, if the infant gate falls off the downstairs, there is a high risk of a serious accident, and the receiver 81 has an important role.
In addition, from the viewpoint of easy attachment and detachment of the infant gate, an example of the receiving member 81 separate from the tension member 80b is shown in the present embodiment, but the tip of the tension member 80b is directly screwed to the wall. May be fixed.

As shown in FIG. 1, a door 30 is provided between a hinge-side mounting member 21 and an opening-and-closing side mounting member 22 of a door mounting member 20 having a passage 4, but the infant gate 10 is connected to the upper side of the stairs. When attached to the passage 2, the door 30 can be opened on the front side of the upper stairway passage 2 to prevent an accident, but is not opened on the downstairs side by a stopper 31.
In this case, the ascending / descending direction of the stairs varies depending on the building, and there is a difference between right-opening and left-opening depending on the user's preference.
Therefore, in the present invention, the stopper 31 can be attached to either the front or rear side of the door 30 and the opening direction of the door 30 can be selected.

Next, the mounting structure of the stopper 31 will be described below.
The open / close side of the door 30 has an upper locking device 40 and a lower locking device (auxiliary locking device) 50 as shown in FIG.
Enlarged views of the upper locking device 40 are shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, and an example of the internal structure is shown in FIG.
The upper locking device 40 includes a lock pin receiving member 47 that is a receiving portion provided on the opening / closing side attachment member 22 and an operation portion 41 that operates a lock pin 43 that is an engaging member that engages with the receiving portion.
The operation unit 41 is screwed into the mounting hole 46 on the lock housing side so that the frame is sandwiched from both sides by the lock housings 41a and 41b at the corner portions of the upper frame 30a and the vertical frame 30c of the door 30. And attached to the door.
The stopper 31 is attached to the door 30 using this attachment member 45.
That is, the stopper 31 is provided with the insertion holes 31c at the same interval as the attachment holes 46 on the lock housing side, and the attachment members 45 are inserted into the insertion holes 31c and screwed into the attachment holes 46 on the lock housing side.
Thereby, the stopper 31 can be easily retrofitted using the operation part 41 of the upper locking device of the door 30.
Further, since the mounting holes 46 are provided above and below the vertical frame formed in the vertical direction, the stopper 31 can be firmly attached.
In this case, as shown in FIG. 7, if the attachment members of the lock housings 41 a and 41 b of the operation unit 41 are constituted by the cap nut 91 and the screw 92, the stopper 31 can be attached and fixed from the right side or the left side.
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4 (b), the stopper 31 is fixed to the lock housing 41b with a mounting surface 31a, and then provided with a locking portion 31b protruding to the lock pin receiving member 47 side. 1. As shown in FIG. 3 (b), the opening direction is regulated so that the door 30 is opened above the stairs but not downward.
As described above, since the stopper 31 is attached also using the attachment member of the operation portion 41 of the upper locking device 40, the lock pin receiving member 47 can be used as the locked portion of the stopper 31, and the stopper device is compact. Thus, no new installation space is required.
The stopper 31 can be selectively attached to either the front or rear side of the door using the operation unit of the locking device.

As shown in FIG. 5A, the internal structure of the upper lock device 40 is such that the lock pin 43 protrudes and enters a locking hole 48 a provided in the lock pin receiving member 47 attached to the opening / closing side attachment member 22.
The lock pin 43 is elastically urged to the protruding side by a spring 43a, the rear end of the spring 43a is connected to the pedestal 44, and the pedestal 44 is elastically urged to the protruding side by the spring 44a.
Accordingly, by providing the operation claw 42b and the operation button 42 on the operation plate 42a, when the operation button 42 is slid to the hinge side, the pedestal 44 moves backward against the spring 44a, and the lock pin 43 is detached from the locking hole 48a. The door 30 can be opened.
When the door 30 is closed, the lock pin 43 is retracted along the inclined surface 48 outside the lock hole 48a. When the door 30 is positioned, the lock pin 43 protrudes and is automatically locked by the spring 43a.

In the lower lock device 50, the auxiliary lock pin 52 is elastically biased downward by a spring 53 inside the housing 51, and a locking hole 55a is provided on the door mounting member 20 side to lock the auxiliary lock pin 52. It is like that.
When the door 30 is opened, the door is lifted upward so that the lock pin 52 is disengaged from the locking hole 55a.
