椅子本体は、土台（３）に４本の脚部（４）が設けられたものである。土台（１）中央には図３に示すように上面から支軸受け穴（１４）が設けられている。土台（３）上面には支軸受け穴（１４）を中心とするようにリング溝（１２）が設けられている。また、土台（３）後部には２つの土台枠穴（１０）が設けられている。
座板（１）は土台（３）と同形状となっており、中心に軸止め穴（５）が設けられている。この軸止め穴（５）には軸（１３）が固定式に設けられている。この際、図３並びに図４に示すように軸（１３）は座板（１）上面が平と なり、座板（１）下方へ突出ようになっている。座板（１）底面には図４に示すように軸（１３）を中心として前記土台（３）のリング溝（１２）と同様のリング溝（１２）設けられている。また、座板（１）後部には、２つの座板枠穴（９）が設けられている。この座板枠穴（９）は、座板（１）を取り付けた状態で前記土台枠穴（１０）と同位置となるようになっている。また、土台（３）と座板（１）のリング溝（１２）間には、リング溝（１２）の大きさに合う形状のベアリング（１１）が設けられており、これにより座板（１）の回転をスムーズにすることができる。図５に示すように、このベアリング（１１）を上下のリング溝（１２）で挟むように軸（１３）を支軸受け穴（１４）に指しこみ土台（３）を装着することで、回転式の椅子となる。
