Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect-capturing tool enabled to be fixed by regulating the whole size so as not to disturb the living by using a compact insect-attracting lamp, and capable of capturing the insect flying around the floor by installing the tool on the floor surface. <P>SOLUTION: The insect-capturing tool provided with a body cover 2 as the cover which covers the whole of an insect-capturing member having an insect-capturing sheet for capturing the flying insects attracted by the attracting lamp 3, on the upper surface of an insect-capturing body 1 having a lighting device obtained by detachably arranging a fluorescent lamp for the insect-capturing tool, obtained by joining two U-shaped arc tubes as the insect-attracting lamp 3 for attracting the flying insects so as to be positioned at the nearly center of the body cover through a supporting member 4 and a socket 5, and a power source device in the inside, is provided with an opening part 7 allowing the flying insect to pass therethrough, and is made of a translucent material allowing the light of the insect-attracting lamp to transmit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

Description

Detailed Description of the Invention

  The present invention relates to an improvement of an insect trap that captures flying insects such as mosquitoes, moths, wingworms, and moths attracted by an insect lamp using an insect catching sheet.

  Conventionally, in this type of insect trap, hanging or wall hanging using a straight tube or ring-shaped insect lamp is used.

  Although the insect trap is installed indoors, it is generally installed at a height higher than the height of a person so as not to hinder residence.

  However, these insect traps catch insects that fly in high places, but cannot catch insects such as butterflies that fly only near the floor.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

  The present invention solves such a problem, and by using a compact-type insect lamp, it is possible to place the whole so as not to hinder living, and by installing it on the floor surface, the vicinity of the floor surface can be obtained. An object of the present invention is to provide an insect trap capable of catching flying insects.

Means for solving the problem

  In order to solve this problem, the present invention supports a fluorescent lamp for insect traps in which two U-shaped arc tubes as two insect lamps 3 for attracting flying insects are joined together so as to be located at the center of the body cover. An insect catching sheet 6 for catching flying insects attracted by this insect attracting lamp 3 is detachably installed on the upper surface of the insect catcher main body 1 containing a lamp and a power supply device detachably arranged via the member 4 and the socket 5. The gist of the present invention is that the body cover 2 made of a translucent material that transmits the light of the insect attracting lamp provided with the opening 7 through which the flying insect can pass is provided as a cover that covers the entire insect capturing member. And an opening through which flying insects can be passed as a cover that covers the entire insect catching member on which the insect catching sheet for catching flying insects attracted by the insect lamp is detachably installed An insect trap provided with a main body cover made of a translucent material that transmits light of the provided insect attracting lamp.   The insect trap according to claim 1, wherein a metal material is used for the main body cover.
