このようなCr量のステンレス棒鋼は安価でしかも優れた耐食性を有している。鉄筋の性能としては、素材自身の耐食性に加えて、コンクリートとの高い付着強度を有することが重要であるが、特開平4−26719号公報には付着強度に関しては検討されていなかった。
