Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an in-vehicle monitoring recorder for monitoring and recording the state of a vehicle, and in particular, for in-vehicle use capable of transferring an image recorded on a recording medium of an in-vehicle monitoring recorder to a recording device outside the vehicle. It relates to a surveillance recorder.
In a conventional vehicle-mounted monitoring device, when the driver is not sitting in the driver's seat, the driver detection sensor detects that the driver is not sitting, and the imaging direction of the imaging camera is directed toward the vehicle interior, By connecting the output to the VTR, the recording of the VTR is turned on, the video signal (captured image signal) obtained by imaging the passenger compartment is recorded on the magnetic tape, the vehicle is stolen, and the vehicle is abandoned There is a thing which tries to be useful for investigation of a criminal (for example, patent documents 1).
Conventional in-vehicle monitoring devices use a magnetic tape recording / reproducing device (hereinafter referred to as VTR) as a monitoring recorder, which requires manual work such as replacement of the magnetic tape. There was a risk of work mistakes such as loss of recorded images due to overwriting.
Also, after the vehicle was abandoned, it was impossible to find the criminal if the criminal took away the magnetic tape, even though he wanted to use it to find the criminal.
In addition, when an in-vehicle monitoring recorder that employs a fixed recording medium such as a hard disk is used instead of a monitoring recorder that uses a removable recording medium such as a magnetic tape, the recording capacity of the fixed recording medium is limited. Therefore, a necessary recorded image may be lost due to overwriting.
An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle-mounted monitoring recorder that does not require manual work such as replacement of a recording medium and can record a monitoring image signal for a substantially long time.
An in-vehicle monitoring recorder according to the present invention includes a monitoring image signal input processing means for digitally processing a monitoring image signal from an in-vehicle monitoring camera and outputting a digital image signal, the digital image signal and its image number for a recording medium, and Recording / reproduction control means for controlling recording and reproduction of auxiliary information, image management information storage means for storing image management information of the digital image signal recorded on the recording medium, the recording / reproduction control means via the network, and the outside of the vehicle Communication control means for controlling connection with the video storage device, control image signal input processing means, recording / playback control means, image management information storage means, and control means for controlling operations of the communication control means. And when the communication control means has successfully connected to the video storage device outside the vehicle via a network, The digital image signal and the image number and the additional information outputted from the means, characterized in that it has to forward the video storage device of the vehicle exterior.
The present invention is configured as described above, records a monitoring image signal from an in-vehicle monitoring camera on a recording medium, and transfers the recorded monitoring image signal to a video storage device outside the vehicle via a network. As a result, manual operation such as replacement of the recording medium is not necessary, and monitoring image signals can be recorded for a substantially long time.
In addition, since there is no need to replace the recording medium, there is no risk of the recorded image disappearing due to a work mistake during daily operation, or the recording medium being taken away by the criminal.

FIG. 4 is a system configuration diagram for explaining the operation of the in-vehicle monitoring recorder when handling a plurality of vehicles in a parking lot. In the figure, the
The basic operations of the
In the standby state, the
For example, when the
Next, the recording operation will be described. Based on the control program and the vehicle monitoring conditions set in advance, the
An example of the recorded image management table of the
As described above, since the image data is recorded on the
When the image data recorded on the
When the image data transfer success notification signal is received, it is possible to determine an image number that has no problem even if the transfer to the
When an image data retransmission request signal is received, the image data, image number, and incidental information are retransmitted.
In image recording by the
Next, the transfer operation will be described. In FIG. 4, it is assumed that the vehicle 400a is about to return to the

FIG. 6B shows an example of a recorder management table. Table items include recorder ID, authentication information, recording range, previous transfer image range, vehicle information, and the like. The recorder ID is an identification number for identifying the
FIG. 7 is a flowchart for explaining image data transfer and recording operations between the monitoring recorder and the image storage server. Hereinafter, the transfer operation will be described with reference to FIG.
As shown in FIG. 4, when the vehicle 400a enters the
When the
(S104、S202)。 When communication is started, authentication information such as a certificate is first exchanged (S103, S201), and it is confirmed whether or not the communication partner is correct (S104, S202).
Next, the
Next, an image to be transferred is determined from the management information, and image data transfer is started. Normally, an untransferred image is transferred.
First, the
The
When confirming that there are no untransferred images, the
Further, when the communication is disconnected due to movement of the vehicle or the like, communication end processing such as communication disconnection is performed (S109).
Note that the
Even if the communication is disconnected before the transfer of all untransferred images is completed due to movement of the vehicle or the like, the
As described above, since the image data recorded in the in-vehicle monitoring recorder can be transferred to the image storage server outside the vehicle via the network, the storage capacity of the image data can be substantially increased.
In addition, even when the connection between the in-vehicle monitoring recorder and the network is intermittent, such as when the vehicle is moving, the connection to the network and the transfer of image data can be automatically performed. It can be controlled not only from the vehicle internal information such as brake operation and engine switch on / off, but also from the storage server side via the network.
Therefore, the possibility of not only monitoring in the parking lot but also constant monitoring even when the vehicle is moving was obtained. In this monitoring mode, by setting the monitoring conditions of the monitoring recorder individually, the operation according to the operation status of the vehicle, the monitoring purpose, and the state of the vehicle becomes possible.
The in-vehicle monitoring recorder according to the present invention and the system using the same include passenger business such as taxis, buses and trains, transportation business such as truck and courier services, sales department with vehicles for customers, police police cars, etc. It can also be applied to cases where constant monitoring of the vehicle operation status is required. Hereinafter, the operation will be described with examples of daily vehicle operations.
As a typical example, let us consider an operation in which the vehicle leaves the parking lot in the morning, operates the vehicle during the day, returns to the parking lot in the evening, and parks in the parking lot at night. A case will be described in which recording is performed while the engine key is on, and when the door sensor and vibration sensor are operated even during standby, recording is set to be performed by the pre-alarm recording function.
Before the driver gets into the
The
Next, when the engine of the
When the
For example, if the
Further, by always storing the 10-second image data from the
Next, a case where the vehicle is parked in the parking lot and separated from the vehicle will be described. The
In the evening, when the work is finished and the
Even when the
Even in the standby state as described above, the pre-alarm recording is activated by detecting the collision of another vehicle or the window glass being broken by the
They may also park or pass through other people's parking lots that use the same recording and transfer system during operation. In this case, data transfer is not started because connection is normally impossible due to network settings or server search fails. Even if these settings are coincident and communication with the image storage server is started, authentication information is exchanged to authenticate each other so that the
As described above, in this monitoring recorder, recording is started, stopped, transfer started, stopped, and the recorded image on the monitoring recorder is automatically deleted. Monitoring becomes possible.
