記録指示に応じて、映像信号及び音声信号のいずれか1つもしくはこれらの組み合わせを含む放送素材信号をビデオサーバに記録し、再生指示に応じて、ビデオサーバに記録された放送素材信号を再生出力する放送素材編集装置において、
複数の入出力系統の伝送経路を切り替える切替スイッチと、
前記切替スイッチの少なくとも一部の入力端子に接続され、前記映像信号を送出する第1の信号送出器と、
前記切替スイッチの前記第1の信号送出器が接続されない入力端子に接続され、前記音声信号を送出する第2の信号送出器と、
前記切替スイッチの少なくとも一部の出力端子に接続され、前記第1及び第2の信号送出器からそれぞれ出力される映像信号及び音声信号を組み合わせて、前記放送素材信号として前記ビデオサーバに出力する信号合成器と、
前記ビデオサーバへの記録指示に応じて、任意の映像信号及び任意の音声信号を前記信号合成器に出力するように前記第1及び第2の信号送出器、及び前記切替スイッチを制御する制御器とを具備したことを特徴とする放送素材編集装置。
