Description

The present invention relates to a washing / drying machine, and more particularly, to a vertical (vortex type) washing / drying machine having a bottomed cylindrical washing tub.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, laundry dryers that integrate a washing machine and a clothes dryer to automatically wash and dry clothes have been spreading. Conventionally, such a washing and drying machine has been mainly a drum type, but recently, various types of washing and drying machines are commercially available even in a so-called spiral type. Hereinafter, a washing dryer having a spiral type in which a bottomed cylindrical washing tub is rotatably arranged around a vertical or inclined axis will be described.

In such a washing and drying machine, in addition to various means for performing normal washing, a hot air supply means for sending high-temperature air into the washing tub is necessary for drying. In the washing and drying machine described in Patent Document 1, water supply means such as a hot air supply means, a water supply valve, and a bath water pump are arranged on the upper cover of the outer box and behind the laundry input port.

However, in practice, when such various means as described above are to be stored in the upper cover behind the laundry inlet, the arrangement tends to be complicated. In particular, the length of the water supply pipe routed by the water supply means occupies a useless space, resulting in a problem that the overall space is increased and the size of the outer shape is increased.

In the washing and drying machine as described above, as described in Patent Document 2, the hot air supply means includes a fan for blowing air and a heater for heating air, and the fan is an intake port provided on the rear surface of the upper cover. It is configured to inhale outside air.

Usually, the washing / drying machine is installed with its rear surface close to the wall surface of the washroom or the like. However, in the conventional washing / drying machine configuration, the gap between the rear surface and the rear wall surface is not sufficiently secured. If it exists, there is a possibility that the amount of outside air taken in by the fan decreases and the drying performance deteriorates.

The present invention has been made to solve these problems, and the main object of the present invention is to appropriately dispose water supply means, hot air supply means, etc. in the upper cover mounted on the top of the outer box. And it is providing the washing-drying machine which can suppress the size of the external shape itself by suppressing the size of the space.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a washing and drying machine capable of maintaining a high drying performance by securing sufficient intake air even when the gap between the rear surface of the outer box and the rear wall surface is narrow. Is to provide.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a first invention comprises an outer box having a laundry input port opened and closed by an upper lid on an upper surface, an outer tub disposed in the outer box, and the outer tub. In a washing / drying machine comprising a washing tub also serving as a bottomed cylindrical drying tub provided rotatably inside,
In the upper surface plate constituting the outer box, at the rear of the laundry input port, there is at least an internal portion for storing the softening finish, and the softening finish is charged as water is supplied into the washing tub. The water injection port portion that can be used is arranged in the center, and either one of the left and right sides is provided with hot air supply means for supplying hot air into the outer tub when drying, A water supply valve for supplying water to the water inlet and a bath water pump are arranged side by side.

In the washer / dryer according to the first aspect of the present invention, when viewed from above, the water inlet is provided in the center of the rear portion of the upper surface plate so as to extend in the front-rear direction, and the bath water is substantially orthogonal to the water inlet. A pump and a water supply valve are provided side by side. Both the water supply valve and the bath water pump have a water conduit that supplies water to the water inlet, but according to the above configuration, both the water conduit of the water valve and the water conduit of the bath water pump are short. Since it is connected to the water inlet by the route, the space required for the water conduit can be suppressed. Thereby, the space of the rear part of the upper surface plate can be effectively used, and necessary members can be accommodated in a small space. Therefore, the overall size of the washing and drying machine can be suppressed.

In the washer / dryer according to the first invention, a water level sensor for detecting the level of water stored in the washing tub is further disposed below the water supply valve disposed on the top plate. can do.

According to this configuration, by storing the water level sensor using the difference in height between the water supply valve and the bath water pump, the space at the rear of the top plate can be used more effectively.

In the washing / drying machine according to the first invention, preferably, the rear surface of the rear decorative cover that covers the rear upper surface of the upper plate is shaped to be inclined forward from the center toward both sides, and the hot air supply means It is preferable that an intake port for taking in outside air is provided on the inclined surface.

According to this configuration, even if the distance between the rearmost part of the outer shape of the washing and drying machine and the rear wall surface is narrow, the distance between the air inlet and the wall surface of the hot air supply means is increased toward the side surface. Since it becomes wider, a sufficient space for sucking outside air from the intake port is secured. Thereby, the intake amount can be increased to achieve high drying performance.

In the washer / dryer according to the first aspect of the present invention, the bath water pump is provided in front of the water supply valve, and bath water reaching the bath water pump is provided on the upper surface of the rear decorative cover that covers the rear upper surface of the upper plate. It can be set as the structure which provided the water supply hose connection port leading to the said water supply valve in the back in front of the hose connection port.

According to this configuration, since the water supply hose from the water tap which is hardly removed except when the washing / drying machine is moved is attached to the rear decorative cover on the rear side of the bath water hose, the bath with relatively many opportunities for insertion / removal The water supply hose is less likely to get in the way when inserting and removing the water hose. Moreover, since it is close to the user side, it is easy to insert and remove the bath water hose.

Further, as one aspect of the washing and drying machine according to the first invention, the water injection port portion is provided with a tray for storing the softening finish so that it can be pulled out freely, and immediately below the opening through which water with the softening finish flows. In addition, a water supply duct for supplying water to the washing tub from the water inlet may be arranged in the vertical direction.

According to this configuration, the water with the softening finish falls directly from the opening of the tray and then falls in the water supply duct and falls into the washing tub. Therefore, it is difficult for the soft finishing agent to adhere to the wall surface of the water injection port portion that interiors the tray, and the soft finishing agent stored in the tray can be reliably put into the washing tub by the user at an appropriate time. Thereby, the effect of a softening finish can be fully exhibited.

In addition, a second invention made to solve the above-described problems is an outer box having a laundry input port opened and closed by an upper lid on an upper surface, an outer tub disposed inside the outer box, A washing tub also serving as a bottomed cylindrical drying tub provided rotatably in the tub, and an upper surface plate constituting the outer box and disposed behind the laundry input port, and the outer portion during drying In a washing and drying machine comprising hot air supply means for supplying hot air into the tank,
The rear face of the rear decorative cover that covers the rear upper surface of the upper face plate is shaped to be inclined forward as it goes from the center to both sides, and an intake port for taking in outside air into the warm air supply means is provided on the inclined face. It is said.

Even in the washer / dryer according to the second aspect of the present invention, as described above, even if the distance between the rearmost part of the outer shape of the washer / dryer and the rear wall surface is narrow, the outside air can be sucked from the intake port. A sufficient space is secured between the walls. Thereby, the intake amount can be increased to achieve high drying performance.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of a washing and drying machine according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 is an external perspective view of the washing and drying machine according to the present embodiment, FIG. 2 is an external top view of the washing and drying machine of the present embodiment, and FIG. 3 is a plan view showing a state in which the rear decorative cover and the upper lid of FIG. 4 is a plan view showing a state in which the front decorative cover and the upper cover of FIG. 2 are removed, FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the top plate of FIG. 4 viewed from the rear, and FIG. 6 is a rear cosmetic cover removed from FIG. FIG. 7 is a schematic side sectional view showing the internal configuration of the washing / drying machine of this embodiment.

As shown in FIG. 1, the outer box 1 forming the outer shape of the washing and drying machine has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped box shape as a whole, a pedestal part 2 having legs formed at the four corners of the bottom surface, both side surfaces and the front surface. A front side plate 3 having a U-shaped cross-section formed integrally, a top plate 4 mounted so as to close the top opening of the front side plate 3, and a rear plate 5 covering the rear side of the front side plate 3. Including.

The top plate 4 is divided into three in the front-rear direction, that is, a front section 4a, a center section 4b, and a rear section 4c. A laundry input port 6 is provided in the central section 4b. In order to open and close, an upper lid 7 which can be folded in two and rotated about a horizontal axis in the lateral direction is attached. On the other hand, the front section 4a and the rear section 4c of the upper surface plate 4 are respectively formed with recesses 8 and 9 for storing predetermined parts, and the operation panel is provided on the upper surface of the recess 8 of the front section 4a. The printed front decorative cover 10 is covered, and the upper and rear surfaces of the recess 9 in the rear section 4 c are covered with the rear decorative cover 11.

A water supply hose connection port 12 for connecting a water supply hose that is recessed one step and is directly connected to a faucet faucet is provided in the center of the rear part of the rear decorative cover 11, and a bath water absorption hose connection is provided in front of it. A mouth 13 is provided. To the left of the water supply hose connection port 12 is a dehumidified water drain port 14 for connecting a dehumidified water discharge hose of the clothes dryer when another clothes dryer is installed in the upper space of the laundry dryer by the installation stand. Is provided.

Generally, the water supply hose connected to the water tap is hardly connected because it remains connected to the water supply hose connection port 12 except when the washing / drying machine is moved, but the bath water absorption hose uses bath water. Since it is often inserted only in the case, there are many opportunities for insertion and removal compared to the water supply hose. In this washer / dryer, the bath water absorption hose connection port 13 is arranged in front of the water supply hose connection port 12, so that the water supply hose is not obstructive when the bath water absorption hose is inserted and removed, and the user can easily Because it is close to, it can be easily inserted and removed.

As shown in FIG. 7, a bottomed cylindrical outer tub 20 is suspended inside the outer box 1 by a plurality of springs (not shown) so as to be swingable appropriately. A bottomed cylindrical laundry dewatering tub 21 also serving as a drying tub is rotatably supported around a main shaft 22. A pulsator 23 for agitating the laundry is disposed at the inner bottom of the laundry dewatering tank 21, and the pulsator 23 is rotatable by a drive shaft 24 inserted into the main shaft 22. A main motor 25 for direct drive and a power transmission mechanism 26 including a power switching clutch 261, a speed reduction mechanism, a band brake, and the like are installed below the bottom surface of the outer tub 20.

The clutch 261 releases the connection between the main shaft 22 and the drive shaft 24 so that only the pulsator 23 is rotated in the washing operation and the rinsing operation by the operation of the torque motor 27, and the washing and dewatering tank 21 and the pulsator in the dehydration operation and the drying operation. Mechanical switching is performed so that the main shaft 22 and the drive shaft 24 are connected to rotate the motor 23 together. When the connection between the main shaft 22 and the drive shaft 24 is released, the rotation of the main shaft 22 is restrained by a band brake (not shown). Therefore, the washing / dehydrating tub 21 does not rotate and only the pulsator 23 can rotate.

A drain opening 30 is formed at the bottom of the outer tub 20, and one end of a drain pipe 31 is connected to the drain opening 30. The drain pipe 31 is opened and closed by a drain valve 32. The other end of the drainage pipe 31 is connected to an external drainage groove through a standing drainage hose (not shown). The opening / closing operation of the drain valve 32 is linked to the operation of the torque motor 27 in the same manner as the connection switching operation of the clutch 261. That is, by driving the torque motor 27, the drainage valve 32 is opened when the washing and dewatering tub 21 and the pulsator 23 are connected to rotate integrally by the clutch 261, and the washing and dewatering tub 21 and the pulsator are opened by the clutch 261. When the connection with 23 is released so that only the pulsator 23 rotates, the drain valve 32 is closed.

An upper surface opening of the outer tub 20 is covered with an outer tub cover 34 having an inner lid 35 that can be freely opened and closed. When the inner lid 35 is closed, the outer tub 20 is substantially sealed. The outer tub cover 34 has two ducts arranged side by side, that is, a water supply duct 36 for supplying water into the washing / dehydrating tub 21 and a high-temperature air for introducing hot air into the washing / dehydrating tub 21 during drying operation. A hot air duct 37 is connected. Further, an exhaust hole 38 for exhaust is formed in the inner lid 35. Both the ducts 36 and 37 have a bellows shape, and even if the outer tub 20 swings, the pipes can be bent appropriately.

A balance ring 40 is attached to the upper edge portion of the washing / dehydrating tub 21 to suppress a large swing vibration during high-speed rotation, and the inner circumferential surface of the washing / dehydrating tub 21 is vertically extended from the bottom to the bottom of the balance ring 40. A circulation channel 41 is formed, and a vertically long lint filter 43 is detachably provided in a vertically elongated water discharge opening 42 facing inward of the washing and dewatering tank 21. When the pulsator 23 is rotationally driven in a state where appropriate water is stored in the outer tub 20, water between the bottom surface of the outer tub 20 and the bottom surface of the washing / dehydrating tub 21 is pumped by the back blades on the lower surface of the pulsator 23. Is sucked into the washing / dehydrating tub 21 through a water passage hole 44 formed in the bottom of the washing / dehydrating tub 21, pushed out to the side, and fed into the lower end opening of the circulation water channel 41. Then, water is pushed up into the circulation water channel 41 and discharged from the water discharge opening 42 into the washing and dewatering tank 21. At this time, dust such as yarn waste mixed in the water is collected by the lint filter 43.

On the other hand, a detergent charging duct 45 extends vertically from the bottom of the laundry dewatering tank 21 on the inner wall surface of the laundry dewatering tank 21 facing the circulation water channel 41 with the pulsator 23 interposed therebetween. The detergent inlet 46 at the upper end of the detergent inlet duct 45 can be freely opened and closed by a detergent inlet cover 47 that is opened by turning around the substantially horizontal axis so as to fall into the laundry dewatering tub 21. Prior to the washing operation, the user opens the detergent inlet cover 47, accommodates the detergent on the inner surface, and closes the cover 47. Then, the detergent falls in the detergent charging duct 45 and falls to the bottom of the laundry dewatering tank 21. After that, when water is poured into the washing and dewatering tank 21 and the pulsator 23 is rotationally driven, the detergent is passed along with the water fed into the detergent charging duct 45 by the pumping action of the back blades of the pulsator 23 as described above. It is supplied from the hole 48 into the washing and dewatering tank 21.

One of the features of the washing / drying machine is a component arrangement structure inside the rear section 4c of the top plate 4. 8 and 9 are a cross-sectional view taken along the line A-A 'and a cross-sectional view taken along the line B-B' in FIG. As shown in FIG. 4, the shape of the rear section 4 c formed on the upper surface plate 4 is a central flat portion 11 a in which the center on the rear surface protrudes rearward, and an inclined portion that inclines forward toward the side surface on both sides thereof. In addition, the flat end portion 11c is substantially parallel to the central flat portion 11a from both ends of the inclined portion 11b to the outside. As a result, the depth of the rear section 4c is wider at the center than on both sides thereof, and the space of the recess 9 of the rear section 4c for storing parts is increased accordingly. In addition, as shown in FIG. 4, the column P of the installation stand (stand) when installing the clothes dryer in the upper space of the washing and drying machine passes behind the flat portions 11c on both sides. Thus, the space behind the end flat portion 11c is effectively used.

As an overall arrangement of the components in the recess 9, a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shaped water inlet 50 provided in the front-rear direction is provided substantially at the center (in this example, at a position slightly shifted from the center to the right). The warm air supply unit 60 as the warm air supply means in the present invention is arranged on the left side. On the other hand, a bath water pump 70 having a thin shape in the depth direction is disposed on the right side of the water inlet 50, and a water supply valve 71 is arranged behind the water supply valve 71. A water level sensor 72 for detecting the water level stored in the water 21 is disposed. Although not shown, an air trap is formed at the bottom of the outer tub 20, and the other end of the air hose connected to the air trap is connected to the water level sensor 72.

The water supply valve 71 is a dual valve, and two outlets provided on the left side surface of the water supply valve 71 are directly connected to the water inlet 50. The water supply valve 71 causes the water supplied to the water supply hose connection port 12 to flow in either a first flow path or a second flow path, which will be described later, of the water injection port 50 in accordance with a control signal from the outside, or Block the flow. The bath water pump 70 uses the water flowing in through the priming water supply pipe 701 as priming water, sucks water from the outside through the bath water suction hose connection port 13, and discharges water to the water inlet 50 through the bath water supply pipe 702.

10 is a perspective view of a state in which the top cover of the water inlet is removed, FIG. 11 is a top view of the state in which the top cover of the water inlet is removed, and FIG. 12 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line CC ′ in FIG. 13 is a cross-sectional view taken along line DD ′ in FIG.

As shown in FIG. 10, the water injection port portion 50 is fitted to the case 51 having a rectangular parallelepiped shape with an open front surface and an upper surface, a tray 52 detachably attached to the case 51, and an upper surface opening of the case 51. 51 includes a lid portion 53 that forms a water channel and an upper surface cover 54 that covers the upper surface thereof. Each of these is an integrally molded product of synthetic resin.

The lid 53 has a first water supply port 101 and a second water supply port 102 that are directly connected to the outflow port of the water supply valve 71 as described above at the rear upper part of the right side surface, and the inside communicates with the first water supply port 101 by a standing wall. The first water passage 103, the second water passage 104 communicating with the second water supply port 102, and the third water passage 105 communicating with the bath water water supply port provided on the upper surface cover 54 are partitioned. . Openings 106, 108, and 110 are formed at the ends of the first, second, and third water passages 103, 104, and 105, respectively, and water falls downward through the openings 106, 108, and 110, respectively.

In addition, since the lid 53 is one step lower on the rear side than on the front side, the first and second water passages 103 and 104 are both deep inside the water supply ports 101 and 102. And the water flow holes 107 and 109 are formed in the bottom face of this part. Therefore, the water remaining in the water passages 103 and 104 when the water supply valve 71 is closed gathers in this deep portion and falls downward through the water passage holes 107 and 109. Therefore, water does not remain in the water passages 103 and 104 for a long time, and adhesion of dirt such as scale can be reduced. In addition, the water passage hole 109 in the second water passage 104 is large, so that water also falls downward from the water passage hole 109 in parallel with the opening 108 having a relatively small size. Thereby, even when the water pressure supplied to the second water passage 103 is high, the water can flow smoothly without overflowing.

In the tray 52, a softening agent storage portion 521 for storing a softening agent that is a liquid is formed. A cylindrical body 522 having an opening at the center is formed in the soft finish accommodating portion 521, and a covered cylindrical cap 523 is attached thereto. In a state where the tray 52 is properly accommodated in the case 51, the water that has dropped from the opening 108 of the second water passage 104 flows into the softening agent accommodating portion 521, and the softening agent contained therein is absorbed into the water. Melt. When the water level in the softening agent storage portion 521 rises and exceeds the upper end of the cylindrical body 522, the water with the softening agent begins to flow down. Since the gap between the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 522 and the inner peripheral surface of the cap 523 is narrow, once the water begins to flow down, the water continues to flow out until the water in the softening agent storage portion 521 is almost eliminated by siphon action. Thereby, when water is supplied to the second water supply port 102 by the water supply valve 71, the entire amount of the softening agent stored in the softening agent storage portion 521 can be surely discharged.

A large circular opening 511 connected to the upper end of the water supply duct 36 is formed on the lower surface of the case 51. In a state where the tray 52 is completely stored in the case 51, the central opening (the range of the diameter indicated by d1 in FIG. 12) of the cylindrical body 522 of the tray 52 is the opening 511 ( The diameter falls within the range indicated by d2 in FIG. That is, as described above, the water flowing out from the softening agent accommodating portion 521 passes directly through the opening 511 and falls directly into the water supply duct 36 and enters the outer tub 20 and the washing / dehydrating tub 21. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the highly viscous soft finish from adhering to the inner wall surfaces of the case 51, the water supply duct 36, and the like, and almost the entire amount can be reliably put into the washing / dehydrating tub 21.

In the structure of the water supply unit including the water injection port 50, the bath water pump 70, and the water supply valve 71, generally, water is supplied from the water supply valve 71 to the water supply port 50 when supplying water for washing or rinsing other than the final rinse. Flows into the first water passage 103 and falls through the opening 106. Further, the water supplied to the water inlet 50 by the operation of the bath water pump 70 flows into the third water passage 105 and falls through the opening 110. That is, at the time of water supply, water flows in the water inlet 50 without passing through the tray 52 and is supplied into the washing and dewatering tank 21 through the water supply duct 36. On the other hand, at the time of final rinsing, water from the water supply valve 71 to the water inlet 50 flows into the second water passage 104, and part of it falls through the opening 108. Therefore, the water flows through the tray 52 and the water is supplied into the washing / dehydrating tub 21 through the water supply duct 36 with the softening finish contained in the tray 52. Thereby, for example, when the final rinse water is supplied, automatic application of the softening finish to the washing / dehydrating tub 21 is achieved.

A hot air supply unit 60 that supplies hot air into the outer tub 20 during a drying operation stores a fan 61 that is rotationally driven by a fan motor 62, a heater 63 that heats the outside air sucked by the fan 61, and these. A casing 64. When the fan 61 is rotationally driven, outside air is sucked from an intake port 65 provided on the rear surface. An intake filter 66 that is detachable on the rear surface of the rear decorative cover 11 is provided outside the intake port 65. Dust or the like floating in the outside air is removed by the intake filter 66. Here, a PTC heater (semiconductor heater) having a self-temperature control function is used as the heater 63.

More specifically, the fan motor 62 is driven and a heating current is supplied to the heater 63 during a drying operation using hot air. When the fan 61 is driven to rotate, the fan 61 sucks air from its front side, that is, the rear side of the washing / drying machine, and pumps it to the side. That is, the outside air sucked through the intake filter 66 enters the casing 64 through the intake port 65 and is sent to the side in the casing 64 (see FIGS. 8 and 9). If a heating current is supplied to the heater 63 at this time, the air sent by the fan 61 is heated by the heater 63, exits the casing 64 through the opening on the front side, is bent downward in an L shape, and warm air It goes down in the duct 37 and is discharged into the outer tub 20. The hot air exchanges heat with the wet laundry accommodated in the laundry dewatering tub 21 to dry the laundry, and the moist air flows out of the outer tub 20 through the exhaust hole 38 of the outer tub cover 34. Then, the air is discharged out of the machine through the ventilation holes formed in the back surface of the outer box 1 and other gaps.

FIG. 14 is a perspective view showing attachment and detachment of the intake filter. As shown in FIG. 14, the intake filter 66 can be easily attached to and detached from the back surface of the rear decorative cover 11 in the vertical direction. As described above, the back surface of the rear decorative cover 11 is a central flat portion 11a that protrudes rearward in the center in the left-right direction in accordance with the shape of the upper surface plate 4, and both sides thereof are at an angle θ with respect to the central flat portion 11a. However, the suction filter 66, that is, the air inlet to the outside of the machine is provided in the inclined portion 11b. Thus, even when the rear surface of the outer case 1 of the present washing / drying machine is installed very close to the upright wall surface of the room where the present washing / drying machine is installed, it is surely omitted between the intake filter 66 and the upright wall surface. A triangular prism-shaped gap is formed. Therefore, when the outside air is sucked by the fan 61 as described above, the flow path resistance can be reduced, and a sufficient amount of intake air can be ensured and good drying can be performed.
