また、上記形態のようにボルトで連結するものに限らず、図5のようにフランジ2に基端を貫通させたフック棒15,15・・の先端を受けリング9や9aの透孔に掛止させ、基端側のナット16の締め込みでフランジ2を受口管部20へ押圧させる等の設計変更が可能である。この場合、逆に受けリング側にフック棒15を設けて先端をフランジ2に掛止させるようにしてもよい。
さらに、受けリングは、受口管部にくびれ部がない場合は奥側の小径部に対して装着しても差し支えない。このとき、小径部の外面が傾斜している場合は受けリングの内面を当該傾斜に合わせてテーパ状にするのが望ましい。
但し、ソフトシール弁の場合は図6に示すように受口管部20の外面に環状部27が設けられていることが多いので、この環状部27を利用してフック棒15を係止させるようにすれば、受けリングが不要となり、より作業が楽となる。

さらに、接続部としては上記接続管に限らず、例えばアダプタのフランジに設けたネジ孔として、仮設配水管を直接ねじ込み接続させる等、他の形態も採用できる。

前記受口管部よりも大径のフランジと、そのフランジの一方の面に設けられ、前記受口管部へ圧入可能で、且つ先端が前記ロックリングに達しない長さを有する差込筒と、前記フランジの他方の面に設けられ、前記差込筒内と連通して前記仮設配管を接続可能な接続部と、前記フランジを前記受口管部への押圧状態で固定する固定手段と、を備えたことを特徴とする配管接続用アダプタ。
