Description

The present invention relates to a ring-type binding tool used for binding a loose leaf or the like provided with a plurality of binding holes along one edge.

BACKGROUND ART A ring-type binding tool including a plurality of rings that can be opened and closed has been widely known. For example, it is frequently used as a binding tool for binding a sleeveless album, notebook, notebook, transparent film storage bag, and the like.

This ring-type binding tool is usually configured to open and close the ring by performing an operation of abutting or separating the free ends of a symmetric or asymmetrical semicircular ring piece.

As a method for opening and closing the ring, Patent Document 1 discloses a technique for opening and closing the ring by a sliding operation of a slide member. In this technique, one of two support members that respectively support the left and right ring pieces is slid to the side of the base member to change the ring between an open ring posture and a closed ring posture.

However, the method of sliding one support member of the ring piece to the side has a problem that the opening degree of the ring cannot be increased unless the sliding amount of the support member is increased. Although there is a method of sliding both ring pieces to the side of the base member, this method is affected by the problem that the width of the base member including the slide mechanism increases, the influence of the weight of the bound document, etc. There is a problem that the ring opening / closing operation cannot be performed smoothly.

As a technique considering such a problem, there is a technique described in Patent Document 2. In this technique, as shown in FIGS. 19 to 21, a slide member 113 is provided between the cover body 111 and the base 112 so as to be able to advance and retreat, and a ring member 115 that engages with the slide member 113 is provided on the base 112. It is arranged on both sides. The ring member 115 includes a shaft member 131 and a ring forming body (ring piece) 132 provided integrally therewith, and a closed loop is formed in a state where the tips of the ring pieces 132 on both sides are abutted.

The shaft member 131 is provided with a convex portion 133, and this convex portion 133 engages with a guide groove 128 provided on the side end surface of the slide member 113. As a result, when the slide member 113 is advanced and retracted, the ring pieces 132 can be rotated in a direction away from and approaching each other according to the shape of the guide groove 128.
JP-A-8-337088 JP 2001-10273 A

Since the ring-shaped binding tool 110 described in Patent Document 2 has a configuration in which the slide member 113 is disposed at the center in the width direction of the base 112, the shaft member 131 that is a support member of each ring piece 132 is formed in an elongated shaft shape. is doing. As a result, the torsional rigidity of the shaft member 131 is fragile, the force for holding the ring in a closed loop is weak (the ring is easily bent), and there is a problem that the document is easily dropped from the ring piece 132. Further, as shown in FIG. 16, since the ring piece 132 and the protrusion 133 are offset, the shaft member 131 portion between the two tends to be twisted, and this is another factor that promotes the bending of the ring. It has become.

Further, in this ring-type binding tool 110, in order to open the ring, it is necessary to operate the operation unit 21 of the slide member 113 so as to be pulled out with a finger. In this operation, there is a problem that an extra space S for catching a finger after avoiding a bound document is required, and the dead space is correspondingly increased. This problem becomes an important problem when applied to a binding tool that cannot take a large dead space such as a system notebook.

Further, the guide groove 128 has a shape having horizontal portions 28A and 28C at both ends thereof and an inclined portion 28B therebetween. Therefore, if the inclined portion 28B is gently inclined, the smooth operability of the slide member 113 can be secured, but there is a problem that the stroke of the slide member 113 becomes long. On the other hand, if the inclined portion 28B is steeply inclined, the stroke of the slide member 113 can be reduced, but there is a problem that the operability of the slide member 113 is lowered (hardened).

Furthermore, the ring opening / closing mechanism of the ring-type binding tool 110 is a mechanism that converts the movement of the slide member 113 in the axial direction into an opening / closing movement of the ring. Therefore, in order to realize a smooth movement of the ring opening / closing mechanism, it is necessary to select a material with good slidability and to finely adjust the shape of the guide groove 128 and the protrusion 133, so that the design and manufacture are not easy. Another problem is that it is difficult to ensure quality stability.

Further, in the configuration in which the ring member 115 is rotated by the guide groove 128 and the protrusion 133 in this way, the guide groove 128 needs to be provided on the side surface of the slide member 113, so that the mold becomes complicated and the manufacturing cost is high. There is a problem.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to enable a smooth opening / closing operation of a ring with a relatively simple configuration, and to improve design and manufacturability, structural strength and quality stability, and cost reduction. The object is to provide a ring-type binding tool that can be used.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention employs the following means.
That is, the ring-type binding tool according to the present invention is provided with a case-shaped base portion having a bottom plate portion and a top plate portion, and a contact or separation between the free ends of the one side ring piece and the other side ring piece. A plurality of rings that change into a closed ring posture or an open ring posture, a first support member that is arranged in parallel in the base portion and supports the base end of the one side ring piece, and a second that supports the base end of the other side ring piece. A support member, an operation member provided so as to be able to reciprocate along the longitudinal direction of the base portion, and provided between the first support member, the second support member and the operation member, and each ring when the operation member reciprocates. And a switching mechanism for inclining the first support member and the second support member about the axis of the base portion so that the first support member and the second support member can be changed between a closed ring posture and an open ring posture. Are arranged side by side in the width direction of These in which the operation member between the first support member and the second support member and the top plate has a configuration in which it is located.

According to the present invention, each ring can be changed between a closed ring posture and an open ring posture by operating an operation member that can reciprocate along the longitudinal direction of the base portion. At that time, since the ring is opened and closed by inclining the two support members around the axis of the base portion by the switching mechanism, it is possible to adopt a double-open configuration in which the ring piece rotates. That is, the opening degree of the ring, which is the maximum separation distance between the free ends of the ring pieces, can be increased. As a result, the binding tool is easy to use and has excellent workability. And since it is set as the double opening form which a ring piece rotates, smooth opening and closing operation of a ring is realizable with simple structure.

In particular, since the first support member and the second support member are arranged side by side in the width direction of the base portion and the operation member is arranged thereon, a member structure that effectively uses the width dimension of the base portion. It can be. That is, as the two support members, it is possible to dispose, for example, a plate-shaped member having excellent torsional rigidity, instead of a simple bar shape as in the prior art. As a result, the structural strength of both support members can be increased, the bending in the direction in which the ring opens can be reduced, and documents can be prevented from dropping off.

In the present invention, each of the first support member and the second support member includes an elongated plate-like portion and a columnar portion that is located in the center in the width direction of the plate-like portion and extends in the axial direction of the plate-like portion. It is desirable. When comprised in this way, the rigidity of support member itself can further be improved with a plate-shaped part and a cylindrical part. Further, the presence of the cylindrical portion allows the support member to easily rotate around its axis.

In the present invention, the switching mechanism includes a convex portion provided on the lower surface of the operation member, a concave portion provided in the first support member and the second support member, and a ring that connects the first support member and the second support member. A spring that biases in the direction of the open ring posture, and when the operating member is moved to either one, the convex portion is fitted in the concave portion, and each ring is changed from the closed ring posture to the open ring posture, and It is desirable to do. When comprised in this way, a ring can be smoothly changed to an open ring attitude | position with the urging | biasing force of a spring only by pressing an operation member to one side. In addition, the switching mechanism can be configured with a simple configuration including the concave and convex portions and the spring. Thereby, it is possible to provide a switching mechanism that is easy to design and manufacture including a mold and that can easily ensure quality stability.

Further, the switching mechanism is configured such that when the operating member is moved to the other side, the convex portion comes out of the concave portion and presses the surfaces of the first support member and the second support member to change each ring from the open ring posture to the closed ring posture. It is desirable to have a configuration that changes. When comprised in this way, a ring can be changed to a closed ring attitude | position only by pushing operation member to the other.

Further, it is desirable that the convex portion of the switching mechanism is provided at a position corresponding to the vicinity of the base end portion of each ring piece supported by the first support member and the second support member, respectively. If comprised in this way, since the convex part of a switching mechanism will press the position corresponding to the base end part vicinity of each ring piece, when pressing the surface of a 1st support member and a 2nd support member, It can be set as the structure which does not give a twist phenomenon. Therefore, also from this point, it is possible to enhance the function of preventing the document from falling off by reducing the deflection in the direction in which the ring opens.

In the present invention, the base portion includes an accommodating portion for arranging the first support member and the second support member in parallel along the longitudinal direction of the base portion, and a one-side ring piece supported by the first support member. It is desirable to have a configuration having an opening for projecting the other-side ring piece supported by the second support member onto the base portion. In this way, when the plurality of one-side ring pieces and other-side ring pieces are configured to protrude from the opening portion of the base portion onto the base portion, the appearance is improved and movable parts such as a support member and a switching mechanism are provided. It becomes possible to protect it by storing it in the base part.

In the present invention, the base portion includes a lower case having a substantially rectangular shape having a bottom plate portion and a side plate portion and having an open upper surface, and an upper case covering the lower case, and includes a first support member and a second support member. It is desirable that the operation member is disposed between the member and the upper case, and that both ends of the operation member protrude from both ends of the base portion. By configuring the base portion with the lower case and the upper case, for example, the lower case can be attached to the spine first. As a result, it is possible to perform an assembling operation for attaching the remaining members including the upper case to the lower case later. Further, by projecting both ends of the operation member from both ends of the base portion, the operation member can be reciprocated only by a pressing operation with excellent operability, and the usability can be improved accordingly. In addition, a space for hooking a finger is not required as in the prior art, and an extra dead space can be eliminated.

According to the ring-type binding tool of the present invention, the ring can be smoothly opened and closed with a relatively simple configuration, and the design and manufacturability are improved, the structural strength and the quality stability are improved, and the cost is reduced. As a result, an excellent effect can be obtained.

Further, as shown in FIG. 7, a plurality of insertion holes 2 a such as a flat-blade screwdriver are formed on the side surface of the base portion 2 at the boundary between the lower case 21 and the upper case 22. The insertion hole 2a is used when the upper case 22 is separated from the lower case 21 during disassembly or the like.

Each ring 3 includes a one-side ring piece 31 and an other-side ring piece 32. The one-side ring piece 31 is supported by the first support member 4, and the other-side ring piece 32 is supported by the second support member 5. In this embodiment, each ring piece and the support member are also made of synthetic resin like the base portion 2. Accordingly, each one-side ring piece 31 and the first support member 4, and each other-side ring piece 32 and the second support member 5 are integrally molded with resin. Of course, the ring piece may be separately formed and fixed to the support member by adhesion.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the two support members 4 and 5 have a substantially bilaterally symmetric shape including the ring pieces, and are arranged in parallel in the base portion 2. The lengths of both the support members 4 and 5 are formed to be approximately the same as the inner dimension of the base portion 2, and consideration is given to avoid relative displacement in the axial direction of the base portion 2. Both support members 4 and 5 can also be formed in an elongated plate shape as a whole. However, the support members 4 and 5 of this embodiment have cylindrical portions 42 and 52 that are located in the center in the width direction of the plate-like portions 41 and 51 and extend in the shape of bars in their own axial directions.

The reason why the cylindrical portions 42 and 52 are provided is that both the support members 4 and 5 are rotated around their own axes so that they can easily be inclined to the left and right (sides). However, the projecting pieces 43 and 53 are provided on the opposing plate-like portions 41 and 51 so that the both support members 4 and 5 can rotate by being linked left and right within the base portion 2. A plurality of these projecting pieces are provided at intervals in the length direction of the plate-like portion.

The operation member 6 is disposed between the first support member 4 and the second support member 5 and the upper case 22, and both ends 61 and 62 thereof protrude from both ends of the base portion 2. Both ends 61 and 62 are formed in an end plate shape having a size covering the end surface of the base portion 2 and are used as an operation unit that is pressed with fingers or the like. As shown in FIG. 5, the gap between both ends 61 and 62 is formed as a long portion 63 having a thin groove shape when viewed from the bottom surface, and a convex portion 71 constituting a part of the switching mechanism 7 is formed on the bottom surface of the long portion. A plurality (six) of 63 are provided at intervals in the length direction. These convex portions 71 are associated with each other so as to be located directly below each ring 3.

That is, each convex portion 71 is provided at a position corresponding to the vicinity of the base end portion of each of the ring pieces 31 and 32 supported by the first support member 4 and the second support member 5, respectively. This is because when each convex portion 71 presses the surface of the first support member and the second support member, the position corresponding to the vicinity of the base end portion of each ring piece is pressed, giving a twisting phenomenon to both support members. This is because there is no configuration.

The convex portion 71 is formed in a wedge shape in cross section as shown in FIG. That is, a tapered surface is formed on one side of the movement direction (arrow B direction) of the operation member 6 so as to be tapered. And the recessed part 72 in which these convex parts 71 fit is formed in the 1st supporting member 4 and the 2nd supporting member 5, respectively.

The switching mechanism 7 is provided between the first support member 4 and the second support member 5 and the operation member 6 so that each ring 3 can change between a closed ring posture and an open ring posture when the operation member 6 reciprocates. The first support member 4 and the second support member 5 are set to rotate (tilt) by a predetermined angle around the axis of the base portion 2.

That is, the switching mechanism 7 includes a convex portion 71 provided on the lower surface of the operation member 6, a concave portion 72 provided on the first support member 4 and the second support member 5, and the first support member 4 and the second support member. A spring 73 (not shown) that urges the member 5 in a direction in which the ring 3 assumes an open ring posture is provided. Then, when the operating member 6 is moved in one direction (in the direction of arrow A), the convex portion 71 is fitted into the concave portion 72, and each ring 3 is changed from the closed ring posture to the open ring posture.

Further, when the operating member 6 is moved in the other direction (arrow B direction), the switching mechanism 7 causes the convex portion 71 to come out of the concave portion 72 and press the surfaces of the first support member 4 and the second support member 5. Each ring 3 is configured to change from an open ring posture to a closed ring posture (see FIG. 10).

In order to smoothly realize the opening / closing function of the ring 3, the recess 72 has a slit shape and is provided in a form facing the opposing plate-like portions 41, 51 of both the support members 4, 5. Furthermore, the size of each concave portion 72 is set so that the first support member 4 and the second support member 5 can smoothly rotate in a state where the convex portion 71 is fitted therein.

Further, as shown in FIG. 10, the convex portion 71 has a wedge-shaped cross section and is formed to have a tapered surface on one side. On the other hand, the inner surface of the concave portion 72 that contacts the tapered surface of the convex portion 71 is also formed on the tapered surface. Thereby, the convex part 71 comes out of the concave part 72, and the action | operation (actually the action which pushes down the plate-shaped parts 41 and 51) which climbs on the plate-shaped parts 41 and 51 which both the supporting members 4 and 5 oppose is smooth. It is considered to be. Each ring 3 is changed to a closed ring posture by pushing down the plate-like portions 41 and 51 to which the convex portion 71 opposes and turning both the supporting members 4 and 5 inward.

The spring 73 constituting a part of the switching mechanism 7 is arranged between the first support member 4 and the second support member 5 and the lower case 21. Various springs can be applied as the spring 73. However, in the case of a coil spring, two springs 73 are disposed between the lower surface of the opposed plate-like portions 41 and 51 and the lower case 21, respectively. . For example, when a leaf spring is used, one may be disposed between the boundary portion between the opposed plate-like portions 41 and 51 and the lower case 21.

According to this embodiment, each ring 3 can be changed into a closed ring posture and an open ring posture by operating the operation member 6 that can reciprocate. At this time, since the ring 3 is opened and closed by inclining the two support members 4 and 5 around the axis of the base portion 2 by the switching mechanism 7, a double-opening configuration in which the ring pieces 31 and 32 rotate is adopted. Can do. That is, the opening degree of the ring which is the maximum separation distance (see FIG. 2) between the free ends 31a and 32a of the ring pieces 31 and 32 can be increased. As a result, the binding tool is easy to use and has excellent workability. Moreover, since the ring pieces 31 and 32 are rotated in a double-open manner, a smooth opening / closing operation of the ring can be realized with a simple configuration.

Further, since the first support member 4 and the second support member 5 are arranged side by side in the width direction of the base portion 2 and the operation member 6 is arranged thereon, a member that effectively uses the width dimension of the base portion 6. It can be a structure. Thereby, the structural strength of both the support members 4 and 5 can be increased, the bending in the direction in which the ring is opened can be reduced, and the document can be prevented from dropping off.

The first support member 4 and the second support member 5 include elongated plate-like portions 41 and 51 and cylindrical portions 42 and 52 that are located in the center in the width direction of the plate-like portions and extend in the axial direction of the plate-like portions. By having each structure, the rigidity of the support member itself can be further increased by the plate-like portion and the columnar portion, and the support members 4 and 5 are rotated around the axis due to the presence of the columnar portions 42 and 52. It can be set as the structure which is easy to do.

The switching mechanism 7 includes a convex portion 71 provided on the operation member, a concave portion 72 provided on the two support members, and a spring 73 that biases the ring 3 in a direction in which the ring 3 is in the open ring posture. Is moved in the direction of the arrow A, the convex portion 71 is fitted into the concave portion 72, and each ring 3 is changed from the closed ring posture to the open ring posture. Accordingly, the ring 3 can be smoothly changed to the open ring posture by the urging force of the spring 73 by simply pressing the operating member to one side. In addition, the switching mechanism 7 can be configured with a simple configuration including the concave portion 72, the convex portion 71, and the spring 73. Furthermore, the switching mechanism 7 can change the ring 3 to the closed ring posture by simply pressing the operation member 6 in the other direction (arrow B direction).

In addition, since the one-side ring piece 31 and the other-side ring piece 32 are configured to protrude from the opening portion of the base portion 2 onto the base portion 2, the appearance is improved as in the illustrated example, and the support member 4, The movable parts such as 5 and the switching mechanism 7 can be housed in the base portion 2 for protection.

Further, by configuring the base portion 2 with the lower case 21 and the upper case 22, for example, the lower case 21 can be attached to the spine cover 101 first. As a result, it is possible to perform an assembling operation for attaching the remaining members including the upper case 22 to the lower case 21 later. Further, by projecting both ends of the operation member 6 from both ends of the base portion 2, the operation member 6 can be reciprocated only by a pressing operation with excellent operability, and the usability can be improved accordingly. .

14 to 18 show another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, an example is shown in which an attachment / detachment mechanism is provided that can attach the lower case 21 of the ring-type binding tool 1 to a back cover, a notebook, or the like by a simple operation. In this embodiment, constituent members that are basically the same as those of the previous embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals and description thereof is simplified.

The ring-type binding tool 1 of this embodiment also includes a back member 10 to which the lower case 21 is detachably attached. The back member 10 is in the shape of an elongated plate similar to that shown in FIG. 13, and a cylindrical projection 11 is provided at the center of the surface. Further, a plurality of (four) protrusions 12 with heads for preventing the removal are provided on the surface of the back member 10 at intervals in the length direction of the back member 10 (see FIG. 15).

As shown in the plan view of FIG. 16, the long hole 2a through which the cylindrical projection 11 of the back member 10 penetrates and the projections 12 with the heads are engaged with the bottom plate portion 211 of the lower case 21 in a penetrating state. An engagement hole 2b is provided. The long hole 2 a is formed long in the longitudinal direction of the lower case 21. Each engagement hole 2b with which each head-attached protrusion 12 engages has a slightly larger circular hole 2c through which the head of the protrusion with head 12 passes, and extends in the longitudinal direction of the lower case 21 from the circular hole 2c. 2d.

The horizontal hole 2d is formed with a narrow width, and the shaft portion of the projection with a head is formed so as to be able to enter the horizontal hole 2d. Therefore, after the lower case 21 and the back member 10 are overlapped with each other so that each head-attached projection 12 enters the circular hole 2c of the corresponding engagement hole 2b, both of them can be slid in the longitudinal direction. Are engaged (coupled) and slid in the opposite direction so that the engagement between them can be released.

At the center of the top plate 221 of the upper case 22, a through hole 22 a for the locking pin 13 with a head is provided. By inserting the locking pin 13 with the head from the through hole 22a, the tip end portion can be inserted into the cylindrical projection 11 (forcibly fitted) and fixed. Thereby, consideration is given so that the base portion 2 and the back member 10 can be prevented from sliding in the longitudinal direction of each other.

For example, when the ring-type binding tool 1 is mounted on a notebook, the back member 10 is fixed to the notebook. Although there are various fixing methods, for example, the cylindrical projection 11 and the projections 12 with the heads are only exposed from the holes provided in the back material accommodating portion in the state accommodated in the bag-like back member accommodating portion provided on the notebook side. (Not shown). Therefore, the back member 10 is a fixed side, and the other part, that is, the ring-type binding tool 1 excluding the back member 10 is a mounting side. Of course, the back member 10 can also be arranged on the front side of the spine.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 17, the long slot 6a for a slide is provided also in the longitudinal direction center part of the operation member 6. As shown in FIG. This is necessary for inserting the cylindrical protrusion 11 in the thickness direction of the base portion 2 into the base portion 2 constituted by the lower case 21 and the upper case 22. The reason why the long hole extending in the length direction of the operation member 6 is to prevent the slide operation of the operation member 6 from being affected.

Further, as shown in FIG. 18, the plate-like member 41 of the support member 4 is also provided with a flat semicircular cutout 41 a for preventing the cylindrical protrusion 11 from affecting the function of the support member 4. It has been. Although not particularly illustrated, the planar semicircular cutout is similarly provided in the plate-like member 51 of the support member 5.
