Description

The present invention relates to an electrical component socket for mounting an electrical component, and more particularly to an electrical component socket in which a contact terminal is fixed to a side wall of a housing.

Conventionally, as an electrical component socket for storing an electrical component, a plurality of contact terminals are juxtaposed, and when the electrical component is mounted on a housing, the contact terminal is brought into contact with a contact portion on the bottom surface of the electrical component for electrical connection. Things are used. As such an electrical component socket, for example, there is one disclosed in Patent Document 1.
Japanese Patent No. 2604969

However, the conventional socket for electric parts has the following problems. The contact terminal is fixed by press-fitting an end part into an insertion part formed in the side wall of the housing. By this press-fitting, the side wall of the housing is pushed by the contact terminal and expands inward and outward. When the side wall of the housing is thick, the bulge of the side wall can be allowed by the wall thickness. However, when the side wall is thinned for downsizing of the housing, the bulge inside the side wall due to press-fitting becomes large. In some cases, electrical components cannot be inserted. For this reason, downsizing of the housing has been hindered.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and provides an electrical component socket capable of reliably inserting an electrical component into a housing even when the side wall is thinned, and reducing the size of the housing. With the goal.

In order to solve the above-described problems, an electrical component socket according to the present invention includes a box-shaped housing that is opened upward in which electrical components are mounted, and a plurality of contacts that are provided in the housing and that are connected to the electrical components. In the socket for electrical parts consisting of terminals,
The contact terminal has a fixing portion fixed to the side wall of the housing,
The side wall of the housing has an insertion part for press-fitting the fixing part of the contact terminal, and the insertion part has an opening for exposing the fixing part of the contact terminal to be press-fitted to the outside of the housing. It is configured as a feature.

The socket for electrical parts according to the present invention is characterized in that the opening is formed in a cutout shape on the outer surface of the side wall of the housing along the insertion portion.

Furthermore, the electrical component socket according to the present invention is characterized in that an upper end portion of the fixed portion of the contact terminal is disposed in the insertion portion and fixed to the side wall of the housing.

According to the electrical component socket of the present invention, the side wall of the housing has an insertion portion for press-fitting the fixing portion of the contact terminal, and the insertion portion is an opening for exposing the fixing portion of the press-fitted contact terminal to the outside of the housing. Since the opening is deformed so that the opening expands to the left and right due to the press-fitting of the fixed part, the entire side wall swells toward the outside of the housing, so even if the side wall is thinned, electrical components can be securely inserted into the housing. can do. Therefore, the housing can be reduced in size.

Further, according to the socket for electrical parts according to the present invention, the opening can be easily formed by forming the opening in a cutout shape on the outer surface of the side wall of the housing along the insertion portion.

Furthermore, according to the socket for electrical parts according to the present invention, the fixed portion of the contact terminal has the upper end portion disposed in the insertion portion and is fixed to the side wall of the housing, whereby the burr and the like provided on the upper end portion of the fixed portion are side walls. The appearance and safety can be improved.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an electrical component socket and electrical component 50 in the present embodiment, FIG. 2 is a plan view of the housing 1 in the present embodiment, and FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. As shown in each of these drawings, the electrical component socket in the present embodiment is provided in the housing 1 to which the electrical component 50 is mounted, and a plurality of housings 1, and includes the electrical component 50 and a circuit board (not shown). And a contact terminal 10 that can be electrically connected to each other. In addition, the cover member 40 is attached to the electrical component 50 from above while being attached to the housing 1.

The electrical component 50 mounted on the housing 1 is made by processing a semiconductor such as silicon of several millimeters square so that a large number of circuit elements function as an electronic circuit. In the present embodiment, the electrical component 50 is a camera module in which an optical component is further incorporated. However, the electrical component 50 is not limited to the camera module.

The electrical component 50 has a plurality of contact portions on the bottom surface. The electrical component 50 is mounted on the housing 1 and brought into contact with a contact portion (not shown) and the thin plate-like contact terminal 10, so that the circuit of the electrical component 50 is provided. Electrical connection to the substrate is possible. One of the side surfaces 51 of the electrical component 50 is formed with a protruding portion 56 that protrudes outward from the side surface 51 and is disposed in a guide portion of the housing 1 described later. Further, an engaged portion 57 that engages with a claw portion 46 of a cover member 40 described later is formed on the side surface 51 of the electrical component 50.

The housing 1 that houses the electrical component 50 is formed of an insulating material such as a resin and is formed in a box shape that is open at the top. The housing 1 is in a state in which the electrical component 50 is mounted by inserting and fitting the electrical component 50 from above. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a guide portion 30 is provided on one side of the side wall 2 of the housing 1 to place a protruding portion 56 formed on the side surface 51 of the electrical component 50. In addition, the other three surfaces other than the side wall 2 on which the guide portion 30 is formed have restricting portions 31 that interfere with the protruding portions 56 of the electrical components 50, and the upper end portion of the restricting portion 31 is the upper end of the side wall 2. It is formed continuously with the part.

As described above, the electric component 50 is mounted on the housing 1 only when the side surface 51 having the protruding portion 56 and the side wall 2 provided with the guide portion 30 are inserted in correspondence with each other, and in other directions, the restricting portion of the housing 1 is mounted. 31 and the protrusion 56 interfere with each other so that the housing 1 cannot be mounted. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the electric component 50 from being inserted into the housing 1 in the wrong direction.

Further, the housing 1 has a grounding member 60 on each side wall 2 as shown in FIG. The grounding member 60 conducts a metal cover member 40, which will be described later, to the circuit board, and protects the electrical component 50 together with the cover member 40 from static electricity and electrical noise. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the ground member 60 includes a fixing portion 61 that is fixed to the side wall of the housing 1 and a connection portion 62 that is bonded to the circuit board. The fixed portion 61 has a concave portion 63 that engages with the elastic piece 41 of the cover member 40 on the outer surface. The connecting portion 62 of the ground member 60 is formed in a U-shaped cross section, and the lower end portion is joined to the circuit board by soldering or the like.

The cover member 40 is mounted on the housing 1 to which the electrical component 50 is mounted after the energization inspection and the like are completed. As shown in FIG. 1, the cover member 40 covers the electrical component 50 from above and is detachable from the outer surface of the housing 1. The cover member 40 protects the electrical component 50 by being attached to the housing 1. An opening 45 is formed on the upper surface of the cover member 40 so that the optical component incorporated in the upper part of the electrical component 50 is exposed. A plurality of claw portions 46 that engage with engaged portions 57 formed on the side surface 51 of the electrical component 50 are formed at the edge of the opening 45. When the cover member 40 is attached to the housing 1, the electric component 50 is pressed from above by the claw portion 46, and the electric component 50 is prevented from coming out of the housing 1.

The cover member 40 has an elastic piece 41 on the side surface at a position corresponding to the grounding member 60 of the housing 1. The elastic piece 41 is provided with elasticity by bending a part of the side surface of the cover member 40 inward. Since the fixing portion 61 of the grounding member 60 has a concave portion 63 on the outer surface, when the cover member 40 is mounted on the housing 1, the elastic piece 41 engages with the concave portion 63 of the fixing portion 61 to cover the cover member 40 and the grounding member 60. , Which protects the electrical component 50 from static electricity and electrical noise, and makes it difficult for the cover member 40 to be detached from the housing 1.

As shown in FIG. 3, a plurality of contact terminals 10 provided in the housing 1 are formed from a conductive material such as metal, and the connection portion 11 formed at the tip thereof corresponds to the contact portion of the electrical component 50 and is a housing. 1 is arranged. The connection part 11 is formed with a substantially semicircular cross section at the top in order to ensure contact with the contact part. The contact terminal 10 includes a fixed portion 12 fixed in the side wall 2 of the housing 1 and an elastic portion 18 connected to the lower end portion of the fixed portion 12, and the connection portion 11 is formed at the tip of the elastic portion 18. The The fixing portion 12 of the contact terminal 10 is formed shorter than the height of the side wall 2 of the housing 1.

The side wall 2 of the housing 1 has an insertion portion 5 for press-fitting the fixing portion 12 of the contact terminal 10. The insertion part 5 is formed from the lower end of the side wall 2 to a predetermined position in the side wall 2, and fixes the contact terminal 10 by press-fitting the fixing part 12 of the contact terminal 10. Further, the insertion portion 5 is formed with an opening 6 in the outer side direction of the side wall 2. The opening 6 is formed in a cutout shape on the outer surface of the side wall 2 of the housing 1 and exposes the outer surface of the fixing portion 12 of the contact terminal 10 to be press-fitted outside the housing 1.

The insertion part 5 fixes the contact terminal 10 by press-fitting the fixing part 12 of the contact terminal 10. By this press-fitting, the side wall 2 of the housing 1 is pushed by the fixing portion 12 and swells inward and outward. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing a state in which the fixing portion 12 of the contact terminal 10 is press-fitted into the side wall 2 of the housing 1.

As shown in FIG. 4, an opening 6 is formed in the insertion portion 5 formed in the side wall 2 in the outer direction of the housing 1, and the side wall 2 is continuous without an opening provided on the inner surface 2 a side. For this reason, when the fixing portion 12 of the contact terminal 10 is press-fitted into the insertion portion 5, the opening 6 that opens to the outside of the housing 1 expands left and right. Since the side wall 2 of the housing 1 is provided with a plurality of contact terminals 10, 10, each opening 6 expands to the left and right, and the side wall 2 as a whole is deformed so as to swell toward the outside of the housing 1. That is, even if the contact terminal 10 is press-fitted, the side wall 2 does not swell in the inner direction of the housing 1. For this reason, even if the side wall 2 is thinned, the contact terminal 10 can be fixed to the side wall 2 without hindering the insertion of the electric component 50, so that the housing 1 can be downsized.

A contact terminal 10 is attached to each side wall 2 of the housing 1. FIG. 5 shows the attachment of the contact terminal 10, FIG. 5 (a) shows a state in which the contact terminal 10 is press-fitted into the side wall 2 of the housing 1, and FIG. 5 (b) shows the contact terminal 10 in the side wall 2. The press-fitted state is shown. As shown in FIG. 5A, in the present embodiment, the upper ends of the fixed portions 12 of the plurality of contact terminals 10, 10 arranged on one surface of the side wall 2 of the housing 1 are connected by a connecting piece 19. Then, a plurality of contact terminals 10 and 10 are press-fitted into the side wall 2 for each side wall 2 of the housing 1 as shown in FIG. Each contact terminal 10 is attached to the side wall 2 by bending and cutting the connecting piece 19. According to this method, many contact terminals 10 can be attached to the side wall 2 in a short time.

Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the length of the fixing portion 12 of the contact terminal 10 is shorter than the height of the side wall 2 of the housing 1, and the height of the insertion portion 5 is also matched to the length of the fixing portion 12. Formed. For this reason, the upper end portion of the fixing portion 12 is accommodated in the insertion portion 5 of the side wall 2, and burrs and the like due to the cutting of the connecting piece 19 are not exposed to the outside, and the appearance and safety can be improved. it can.

As mentioned above, although embodiment of this invention was described, application of this invention is not restricted to these embodiment, It can apply variously within the range of the technical idea. For example, the number of contact terminals 10 juxtaposed in the housing 1 is not limited to the present embodiment, and may be more or less. Further, the arrangement of the contact terminals 10 is not limited to the present embodiment, and can be changed corresponding to the arrangement of the contact portions of the electrical component 50.
