Description

The present invention relates to a muscle training device that advances music performance in response to a force application to a force exerciser, and more particularly, rehabilitation (hereinafter abbreviated as “rehabilitation”) in elderly people and injured persons who are recovering. The present invention relates to a strength training device devised so that strength training can be performed while enjoying the sensation of playing music when performing strength training as part of the training.

Conventionally, there is no dedicated strength training tool for those who train strength in a relatively weak range, such as elderly people and rehabilitation patients, but ordinary strength training tools generally used to train strong strength It is used for rehabilitation and so on. However, muscle training has many monotonous repetitive movements, and it is difficult to continue the rehabilitation movement unless it is fun and playful.

JP 2005-99565 A

The present invention has been made in view of the background as described above, and is mainly used by elderly people, rehabilitation patients, and the like who need strength training while simultaneously performing simple strength training while enjoying music performance. It aims to provide a training tool that can.

The muscle strength training device according to the present invention is deformed according to an external force applied by the user, gives a reaction force according to the deformation to the user, and detects the applied force when the deformation exceeds a predetermined degree. A force exerciser having force detection signal generating means that emits a signal and does not generate a force detection signal when not exceeding, and pitch data of each sound constituting the music to be played are arranged in time Performance data storage means for storing performance data corresponding to the progress of music, and the force detection signal are received, and each time the force detection signal is received, the performance data is sequentially read from the performance data storage means. In addition to outputting sound generation instruction data for sequentially instructing the pitches of musical tones to be generated, in this case, each time a new force detection signal is received, a new sound pitch is sequentially specified. Sound output instruction data output means for stopping the output of the sound generation instruction data indicating the pitch of the musical tone when reception of the force detection signal is interrupted, and the pitch specified by the sound generation instruction data A musical sound generation means for generating musical sounds is provided.

Furthermore, the force exerciser includes an exercise tool body formed by closing an elastic rod-like body in an annular shape, and a predetermined shape provided to surround the rod-like body from the outside in at least one annular portion of the exercise tool body. A handle having a length, a cylinder having a predetermined length provided so as to surround the rod-like body without contacting the rod-like body in the vicinity of the handle, an inner surface of the cylinder, and an outer surface of the rod-like body facing the inner surface Each of which is provided with a contact detection signal generating means for electrically detecting contact between the conductive pieces and generating a contact detection signal, and the conductive pieces according to deformation of the exercise tool body. Is configured to generate the force detection signal upon contact.

Furthermore, the force exertion tool is attached to both ends of the exercise tool main body formed of a string-like body having elasticity and capable of extending in the length direction by the force, and the string-like body of the exercise tool main body. Provided with a grip portion, and a switch operation detection signal generating means for providing a switch for detecting an applied force to the string-like body in the vicinity of the grip portion, and electrically detecting the operation of the switch to generate a switch operation detection signal. Thus, the force detection signal is generated when the switch is operated in accordance with the extension of the exercise tool body.

According to the present invention, in response to the user's strength training operation, a tone is generated while the user is applying force to the force exerciser. If you apply power to the song, the next musical tone is pronounced and the sounds that make up the song are played sequentially, so that you can train your muscles while enjoying the sensation that the user is playing the music yourself. Can do. In this case, since the tempo at which the musical sound is generated corresponds to the user's movement, there is an advantage that training can be performed at a speed corresponding to the degree of training of the user.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the overall configuration of the strength training device of the present invention. The strength training device according to the present invention is mainly configured to include a force exercise device 1 portion and a musical sound performance device 2 portion.

The portion of the applied exercise tool 1 is attached to an exercise tool body (to be described later) that deforms according to an external force applied by the user and applies a reaction force corresponding to the deformation to the user. A force detection signal is generated when the deformation of the main body exceeds a predetermined degree, and a force detection signal generator 11 that does not generate a force detection signal when the deformation of the main body is not exceeded, and the force detection signal connected thereto is wirelessly transmitted. The wireless transmission part 10 which transmits with a radio wave of a frequency is included. A specific embodiment of the exercise tool main body will be described later with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3.

The musical tone performance apparatus 2 includes a performance data storage unit 21 that stores pitch data in which pitch data of each sound constituting a musical piece to be played is arranged in time according to the progress of the musical piece, and The wireless reception unit 20 that receives the force detection signal transmitted wirelessly, and sequentially reads the pitch data from the performance data storage unit 21 each time the force detection signal is received, and sequentially selects the pitches of the musical sounds to be generated. A sound generation instruction data output unit 22 that outputs sound generation instruction data to be instructed, and in this case, every time a new force detection signal is received, sound generation instruction data for sequentially instructing the pitch of a new musical tone is output. When reception of the force detection signal is interrupted, the sound generation instruction data output means 22 for stopping the output of the sound generation instruction data for instructing the pitch of the musical sound, and the musical sound signal having the pitch specified by the sound generation instruction data are generated. A sound source 23 to an amplifier 24 which amplifies the tone signal from the sound source, and is configured by a speaker 25 for emitting the air of the amplified tone signal as a sound. The control circuit 26 is a circuit that controls the units 20 to 25 in accordance with the operation of the panel switch 27 by the user. The performance data storage unit 21 is sufficient to store only the pitch data of each sound constituting the music so that it can be read out in the progression order of the music. Therefore, the pitch data is used for the training tool of the present invention. Performance data may be created and stored side by side, but from MIDI performance data (including pitch data and other performance data in addition to pitch data) of existing music that is generally available The pitch data can be extracted, edited, and stored, or the performance data storage unit 21 stores MIDI performance data that includes data other than the pitch data, and generates sound generation instruction data. The output unit 22 may select and read only necessary pitch data.

In the illustrated embodiment described above, the signal transmission between the force exerciser 1 and the music performance device 2 is performed wirelessly for convenience of use.

FIG. 2 shows that the exercise tool main body of the force exercise tool 1 is formed as a compression exercise tool by connecting an elastic rod-like body 31 in a ring shape (preferably circular shape) so as to indicate an extended portion by a two-dot chain line 31a. The annular shape is deformed by an applied force. On the other hand, a handle 32 having a predetermined length is attached to at least one annular portion of the exercise tool body by surrounding the rod-shaped body 31 from the outside. A cylindrical body 33 having a predetermined length is provided so as to surround the rod-shaped body 31 so as not to directly contact the rod-shaped body 31 in the vicinity of 32, and conductive pieces 34a are provided on the inner surface of the cylindrical body 33 and the outer surface of the rod-shaped body 31 opposite thereto, respectively. 34b is provided, and a contact detection signal generation circuit (not shown) for generating a contact detection signal by electrically detecting contact between the conductive pieces is provided, and the conductive piece according to deformation of the exercise tool body same There by contact, and the contact detection signal generation circuit is configured to emit Loading detection signal described above. In use, the handle 32 of the annular body and the diametrically opposite side (a handle may be provided there) may be gripped by the left and right hands, and the annular body may be opened and closed in the air using the left and right hands. Or twist and do strength training. As a means for generating the force detection signal, instead of the combination of the conductive piece and the contact detection signal generation circuit shown in FIG. 2, a micro switch is driven by mechanical deformation to detect the closing of the switch. Thus, a circuit configuration for generating a force detection signal may be adopted.

FIG. 3 shows that the exercise tool body of the force exercise tool 1 is provided with a predetermined length so that the string-like body 41 that is elastic and can be extended in the length direction by the force is indicated by a two-dot chain line 41a. In contrast, a grip portion 42 is attached to both ends of the string-like body 41 of the exercise tool body, and a force applied to the string-like body 41 is applied in the vicinity of the grip portion 42 to the wire fixing plug. 43, a switch 46 for detecting via a wire 44 and a spring 45 is provided, and a switch operation detection signal generating circuit (not shown) for electrically detecting the operation of the switch 46 and generating a switch operation detection signal is provided. Thus, the switch 46 is actuated in response to the extension of the exercise tool main body, thereby generating a force detection signal. In use, the center portion 41b of the string-like body is stepped on with the foot, the respective grip portions 42 are gripped by the left and right hands, and the ends of the left and right arm elbows are alternately raised upward to perform strength training. . In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the switch 46 is provided in each of the left and right grips 42 to detect the applied force of each of the left and right hands. However, the switch 46 is provided in either one of the grips 42. Thus, it may be configured to detect only the applied force of one hand.

Next, the data processing process of the training tool of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 4a and 4b. The flow of FIG. 4a is a main routine, and the flow of FIG. 4b is an interrupt routine. When the apparatus is turned on, the training tool is initially set in step S1. Next, in step S2, the setting by the panel switch is read, and the operation mode of the training tool using the present invention is set. In the above description, as an operation mode of the present invention, a mode in which a musical tone of the next pitch is played for each new force detection signal in response to the force detection signal has been described, but the present invention is used. As a training tool, another performance mode other than this mode (for example, a performance mode in which an automatic performance based on automatic performance data and the tempo of the progress of the music follows the input time interval of the force detection signal) is also prepared. Since the diversity of muscle strength training is convenient and convenient, this flowchart illustrates a process that can cope with such another performance mode. In this case, the performance mode of the present invention described above is referred to as “mode 1”, and another performance mode is referred to as “mode 2”. Note that the circuit configuration for mode 2 can be separately provided, and a specific description thereof will be omitted here.

Next, the performance data of the music to be performed described above is stored in the performance data storage means for a plurality of music, and numbered in advance, and can be selected by inputting from the panel switch. Step S3 is the music selection step. When the performance start button is pressed, step S4 is determined to be YES (Y), and the process proceeds to step S5 below. If the selection by the panel switch is determined to be “mode 1”, the training tool of the present invention is The operation described above is performed. That is, every time a new force detection signal is received from the force exerciser, new pitch data is read out to instruct the tone of the tone to be emitted, and when the force detection signal disappears, the tone is Silence. In this case, the distinction between the new force detection signal and the same force detection signal is performed in the following manner. In other words, the reception of the force detection signal is periodically checked (for example, every 1 millisecond), and the first “with force detection signal” after detecting “no force detection signal” is the new force detection signal. Means the arrival of While only “with force detection signal” continues, pronunciation of the same musical tone continues. With this kind of movement, users who are muscularly trained will realize that the musical sound of that length is generated sequentially every time force is applied. You can do strength training with a sense like

Here, an interrupt routine that is not described above will be described. The interrupt routine is a process executed every time an interrupt occurs. Step S11 prompts the execution of processing in the corresponding main routine when there is an input in any of the switches. If the input is related to mode setting, the corresponding processing is executed in the subroutine of step S2. If the input is related to music selection, the corresponding processing is executed in the subroutine of step S3. If it is an input of a start button, it will progress to "Y" by judgment of step S4. While there is no input of the start button, the process proceeds to “N” in the determination of step S4 and continues to wait for the input of the start button. Step S12 is used for data processing in the subroutine of step S6 or S7 as an input of the force detection signal when there is a wireless input. Step S13 is a step of creating data used for following the tempo of automatic performance in step S7 described above.

In addition, since the structure which implement | achieves this invention is the computer process using CPU, the data collected in operation | use of this training tool can be utilized for various purposes, management of the training history according to a user, Various data displays such as display of the degree of progress of rehabilitation, estimation of exercise amount and calorie consumption, and scoring display in a game sense are possible.
