Description

The present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet using a porous substrate (hereinafter referred to as pressure-sensitive adhesive tape), and more specifically, can be adhered to the surface of the target adherend without fail, and Provided is an adhesive tape that can be peeled cleanly when it is no longer needed.

Conventionally, as a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape that is applied to a surface to be adhered and peeled off at the end of the purpose, a pressure sensitive adhesive is generally applied to one side of a porous substrate and cut to a predetermined width. Tape is known. As such a porous substrate, generally beaten wood pulp, if necessary (for example, for improving strength and elongation), porous thin paper material mixed with this and synthetic short fibers, butyl rubber, natural rubber, A porous thin paper material impregnated with styrene / butadiene rubber, acrylic resin or the like is used (Patent Document 1).

However, when the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having the above-described configuration is used, a so-called wave phenomenon, curling, and twisting may occur when rewinding.
Such a phenomenon may or may not occur depending on the cutting width of the adhesive tape, storage conditions, use conditions, etc., but as a result, the quality varies and the reliability of the product is lacking. There was a problem that it was not possible to adhere and adhere to the surface of the body.
JP-A-2-151427

As a result of intensive studies to solve the above problems, the present inventors have used a porous substrate such as a paper material as a tape substrate and a solvent type as a pressure sensitive adhesive. Because of this, the difference in moisture content in the width direction of the tape after cutting is likely to occur, that is, the tape cutting surface is exposed, so the water absorption rate of the paper base is high, while the water absorption rate is low near the center. It has been found that since the moisture content in the width direction is different, the tape cut end is generated by water absorption.
Therefore, the present inventors can solve the above problems by using a water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive instead of a solvent-type pressure-sensitive adhesive and making the water content in the width direction of the porous substrate substantially uniform. I found out.

That is, the present invention is an adhesive tape using a porous substrate, wherein a water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive is provided on at least one surface of the substrate, and the moisture content in the width direction of the tape is substantially uniform. There is provided an adhesive tape using a porous substrate characterized by

The adhesive tape of the present invention has a stable moisture content in the width direction after cutting, so there is no dimensional change, and there is no occurrence of waves, curls, twists, etc. when unwinding, so that it is stable. Quality can be maintained. Therefore, it can be made to reliably follow and adhere to the surface of the target adherend. In particular, when used for coating masking, there is an effect that a good finish (parting line) can be obtained.

Examples of the porous substrate used in the present invention include paper materials made of fibrous materials such as kraft paper, crepe paper, and Japanese paper. For example, beaten wood pulp or one or more synthetic short fibers are used. A porous thin paper material (Japanese paper) obtained by mixing the above is preferred in terms of excellent strength and elongation. Examples of the material of the synthetic short fiber include polyvinyl alcohol (vinylon), polyamide (nylon), polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, polyacrylonitrile and the like.
The basis weight of the porous thin paper material is not particularly limited, but is usually 15 to 80 g / m 2 , preferably 25 to 50 g / m 2 .

In the present invention, particularly from the point that strength and elongation can be improved and appropriate rigidity can be imparted, the synthetic short fiber to be mixed is vinylon, and the mixing ratio is 5% or more, preferably 5 to 70%, It is preferable to use a porous thin paper material of 15 to 50%.

In the present invention, as described in JP-A-2-151427, for example, by impregnating a porous base material with rubber and / or synthetic resin, tearing or breaking can be prevented during peeling.
Examples of such rubber and synthetic resin include butyl rubber, natural rubber, styrene / butadiene rubber, and acrylate copolymer.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive provided on at least one surface of the porous base material is not particularly limited as long as it is a water dispersion type, and examples thereof include rubber-type emulsion type, dispersion-type pressure-sensitive adhesives and the like.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the present invention is coated with a water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive on at least one surface of the porous substrate, dried by a conventional method, wound up to a predetermined length, and then cut into a predetermined width. Is obtained.
The obtained adhesive tape after cutting is characterized in that the moisture content in the width direction is substantially uniform.
Here, the moisture content is K.I. It is a value measured by F method (Karl Fischer method).
In addition, the term “substantially uniform” means that it is uniform or includes a slight difference, and varies depending on conditions such as tape width, manufacturing conditions, storage conditions, storage locations, seasonal changes, cutting methods, etc. The difference in rate is 4% or less, preferably 3% or less, particularly preferably about 1 to 2%.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the present invention is not limited to its application, but since it does not generate a so-called undulation phenomenon during rewinding, it has excellent followability to the adherend, and is therefore used particularly during coating.
