Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a paper cutting device and a paper cutting method that optimally control a stop position of a paper presser and a cutter blade when cutting a plurality of stacked paper sheets.
There are various cutting apparatuses for cutting a plurality of stacked sheets of paper at once, but they are generally large and large apparatuses. For example, the paper presser can be lowered and clamped so as not to misalign 1000 sheets or more of sheets, and can be cut by a cutter that descends from above. The paper presser and the cutter are hydraulically driven, and cut paper by exerting a force of several tons. Of course, there is a cutting device that uses a motor instead of a hydraulic drive system, but generally a motor of several hundred to several thousand W is used with an AC power supply.
Therefore, the conventional paper cutting device is large in size and weight, and therefore cannot be built in as an accessory device of an office machine. In addition, since the cutter stroke is fixed in the conventional cutting device, the same stroke is used regardless of whether the number of sheets to be stacked is large or small. When cutting a small number of sheets, the movement of the cutter is wasted. Therefore, the efficiency of the cutting work is reduced by that amount.
When cutting the paper by lowering the cutter from above, the paper scraps rub against the blade edge surface and static electricity is generated, and the cut paper scraps adhere to the blade tip and must be removed. In other words, since the paper dust cannot be completely dropped by the cutter descending from above, a method of forcibly removing it by sending wind or rubbing with a brush is employed. By providing such an auxiliary function for removing paper waste, the entire cutting apparatus becomes large, and it is far from the compact paper cutting apparatus required by the present invention.
By the way, the cutter blade is controlled so that its movement stop position is detected by a limit switch so that no uncut paper remains. However, the electrical control method using the limit switch is inevitable in operating error, and is also affected by the limit switch mounting error and the manufacturing error of the mounting parts. On the contrary, the cutter blade bites into the receiving surface of the paper presser deeper than necessary.
Thus, the conventional paper cutting apparatus has the above-described problems. The problem to be solved by the present invention is this problem. It is configured to be very compact and to be driven by a small motor with low power consumption, and to improve efficiency by shortening the cutting time and saving labor. Provided is a paper cutting apparatus configured to be able to And the stop position of the cutter blade after cutting is stabilized, it is controlled so that uncut cutting and excessive biting into the receiving surface can be prevented, and consequently the life of the cutter blade can be improved, and the paper pressing force is also optimized. A paper cutting device and a paper cutting method controlled as described above are provided.
The paper cutting device according to the present invention has a paper presser that holds a plurality of stacked papers so as not to be misaligned, and the cutter is attached below the paper presser and can be raised obliquely upward. A presser link mechanism is attached to the presser mechanism of the paper presser, the tip of the link is connected to a nut that is screwed to a screw that is juxtaposed with the paper presser, and the nut moves when the screw rotates. If you do, the presser foot can move up and down. For this purpose, the screw is rotated by a small motor. And it is controlled so that it stops when the pressing force for pressing a plurality of sheets stacked on the table reaches a predetermined magnitude and the load current of the motor gradually increases.
On the other hand, the cutter can cut the paper by sliding obliquely upward along the guide. For this purpose, a screw is provided in parallel with the cutter, and a nut is screwed into the screw. If the screw rotates, the nut moves, and in conjunction with the nut, the cutter can slide obliquely upward along a guide groove formed in the guide.
Generally, when a material to be cut is cut with a blade, the word “sharpness” is often used to express the cutting performance of the blade. This sharpness is judged by the magnitude of the force applied to the blade during cutting (cutting resistance), the quality of the cut surface whether or not the cut surface is damaged by cutting streaks, the durability of the blade, etc. .
Fa=Fb+Fc となる。
There are three factors of cutting resistance: geometrical factors (the shape of the blade), mechanical factors (such as the cutting method), and material factors (such as the material of the blade).
The mechanical factor is that the cutting resistance Fa is expressed by two element resistances.
Fa = Fb + Fc.
Fb: Deformation / destruction resistance of the material to be cut,
Fc: Friction resistance between the material to be cut and the cutting tool By the way, the cutting resistance of the cutting device that cuts the material to be cut (sheet bundle, laminated paper, metal foil, thin metal plate layer) piled up many sheets It is recognized that the material fluctuates irregularly due to a change in compression elasticity, which is a deformation amount of the material, and a change in frictional force. In order to drive such a cutting device with a drive motor or the like, it is necessary to set the driving force of the drive motor or the like based on the maximum cutting resistance and also set the rigidity of the cutting device itself based on the maximum cutting resistance. is there.
In the cutting apparatus of the present invention, a cutter that cuts a plurality of stacked sheets is cut while moving along an inclined guide groove so as to be inclined in the longitudinal direction of the cutter. Frequency vibration can be added, and the cutting resistance of the cutter can be stabilized and reduced.
The cutter of the cutting device according to the present invention includes a cutter blade and a holder, and has a structure in which the cutter blade is attached to the upper portion of the holder. And this cutter can slide diagonally upward along a guide in a horizontal state. In the present invention, a cutter stopper mechanism is provided. That is, it is possible to stop at a predetermined height position so that the laminated paper that is the material to be cut is not left uncut and the cutter blade does not bite into the receiving tree. The stopper is attached to the paper presser side.
Therefore, the cutter moves and the cutting of the paper is completed, and at the same time, the cutter stops moving by contacting the stopper. A large load acts on the drive motor that moves the cutter up and down by the contact portions formed on the flat surfaces on both sides of the cutter holder contacting the stopper, and the motor is detected by detecting an increase in the current value based on this load. A cutter operation control means is provided so as to stop the operation immediately. On the other hand, a cutter stop detection sensor can be provided so that when the cutter overruns as a safety device, the motor is stopped urgently.
When all the papers have been cut, the cutter motor starts reverse rotation and descends, and has a cutter standby position detection sensor so as to stop at a predetermined position and enter a standby state. Similarly, the paper presser motor rotates in the reverse direction, and the paper presser moves up to a predetermined position and enters a standby state. For this purpose, a paper press standby position detection sensor is installed. The presser foot rises slightly earlier than the cutter lowers, but when both the presser foot standby position detection sensor and the cutter standby position detection sensor are on, it is confirmed that the paper cutting device is in the standby state. Is done. The operation of the paper cutting device is controlled to start after confirming that it is in a standby state.
The paper presser is raised when the cutting of the paper is completed, and the next paper to be cut is set on the table. At this time, if the paper presser is raised to a predetermined standby position, time is wasted. Therefore, an intermediate standby position detection sensor is attached to be adjustable, and control is performed so that the intermediate presser position is raised and stopped. I can do it. In other words, the number of sheets placed on the table depends on the number of sheets of the paper holding mechanism so that it can be known from the inclination of the link of the sheet pressing mechanism or the position of the slider that is screwed into the nut screwed into the screw. An intermediate standby position is determined.
The paper cutting device according to the present invention is configured to clamp the stacked paper by a paper presser and cut it by a cutter that rises obliquely upward from below. Since the presser foot pressing mechanism is composed of a combination of screw and link, the stacked paper can be strongly clamped with a small motor, preventing the clamped paper from shifting. That is, a booster mechanism is configured by a combination of a screw and a link. Since the motor load current value that increases by clamping is detected and the motor is controlled to stop, the stacked sheets of paper are always clamped by the paper presser with a stable pressing force. The
On the other hand, the cutter employs a screw mechanism in which a nut is screwed onto a screw, and the cutter can be pushed diagonally upward along an inclined guide groove formed in the guide by the movement of the nut as the screw rotates. It is possible to cut by the motor. And since the paper can be cut one by one from the lower side, the cut paper scraps fall naturally and do not adhere to the blade edge of the cutter.
In addition, by detecting the inclination of the link of the paper presser or the position of the nut screwed into the screw, the thickness of the laminated paper placed on the table can be determined. As can be seen in advance, useless movement is unnecessary by adding a paper press intermediate standby position detection sensor corresponding to the number of sheets and controlling according to the number of sheets. In other words, the cutting work becomes more efficient because only the minimum required slides are required.
Furthermore, since the cutting device of the present invention has a cutter stopper function, there is no uncut portion, and conversely, excessive cutting of the cutter blade into the receiving surface is prevented. That is, by controlling the load current of the motor to increase and stop when the cutter abuts against the stopper, stable cutting is performed, and the life of the cutter is greatly improved without overloading the cutter blade. To do. Here, the stoppers are attached to both sides of the paper presser, and both sides of the cutter holder which is kept in a horizontal state and rises come into contact with the stopper and stop.
When the cutting is completed, the cutter is lowered and stopped at a predetermined position, and the paper presser is lifted and stopped at the predetermined position to enter a standby state. As described above, the paper cutting apparatus of the present invention has an operation control unit that stops the operation of the paper presser and the cutter at a predetermined position, and also includes a position detection unit that waits the paper presser and the cutter at the predetermined position. Therefore, the paper can be cut efficiently and safely, and the life of the paper cutting device can be improved.
1 to 3 show an embodiment of a paper cutting device according to the present invention. FIG. 1 is a front view, FIG. 2 is a left side enlarged view, and FIG. 3 is a right side enlarged view. In the figure,
The
In FIG. 1, the paper pressing frame 6 moves up and down by changing the inclination of both links 5a and 5b, but it does not move in the left-right direction because it is guided by the main body frame. A screw provided in a part of the shaft 24 is driven to rotate by the motor 10, and a belt and a plurality of gears are interposed therebetween as shown in FIG.
As described above, in the present invention, the paper presser that combines the gear mechanism and the link mechanism is employed, so that the
On the other hand, the
The
However, the
By the way, in this invention, the specific means for raising / lowering the
The horizontal slider 19 is guided by two parallel screws 22, 22, and the horizontal slider 19 can move horizontally by rotating both the screws 22, 22 at the same speed. The
FIG. 5 is a specific example showing the structure of the stopper 11. An L-shaped bracket 12 is attached to the paper holding frame 6 so that the

By the way, a cylindrical nut 27 is fixed to the bottom portion 14 of the paper retainer frame 6 so as to stand up. An

By the way, the sharpness of the cutter is better as the cutting resistance of the cutter and the paper is smaller. For cutting, the cutter is pushed in a direction perpendicular to the edge of the blade, and the cutter is pushed in with movement parallel to the edge of the edge. There is a “drawing”. The present invention employs the latter method that emphasizes “drawing”. Here, the tip angle (wedge angle) γ of the cutter, the speed of pushing in the direction perpendicular to the edge of the blade (pushing speed) V, the cutter The apparent cutter tip angle (effective wedge angle) β is expressed by the following equation according to the speed (horizontal speed) v at which the blade moves parallel to the blade edge.
tanβ=V/(V2+v2 )1/2・tanγ
tan β = V / (V 2 + v 2 ) 1/2 · tan γ
As can be seen from this equation, the cutting resistance varies depending on the paper quality and the apparent tip angle (effective wedge angle) β of the cutter, and there exists an optimum wedge angle β corresponding to the paper quality. The paper cutting apparatus according to the present invention controls the optimum pushing speed V and horizontal speed v based on the constraints such as practical dimensions and cutting time by being installed in an office machine in consideration of the above formula. A guide groove and a slider that fits into the guide groove are provided.
FIG. 7 is a flowchart showing the movement of the paper presser and cutter of the paper cutting apparatus of the present invention. A
Here, the value of the current flowing through the motor 10 in the no-load state in which the
By the way, the
On the other hand, the
Under the present circumstances, the electric current value when a cutter raises in a no-load state is measured. Then, as the
If the
If the paper is cut in this way, the motor 10 rotates reversely and rises, and the clamp is released. When the
