Description

The present invention relates to a method for transporting a heavy vehicle in which a heavy vehicle such as a wheel loader or a wheeled hydraulic excavator is loaded on a transport vehicle such as a trailer-coupled vehicle.

Conventionally, for example, when a wheel loader is loaded on a trailer and transported, the height at the time of transportation (the total height when loaded) is set to the vehicle restriction ordinance (road) by replacing small wheels with regular tires mounted on the wheel loader. Law), road traffic law, road transport vehicle law, etc., so that the height limit value (3.8 m or less) is not exceeded, and the wheel loader is connected to the trailer without using the special vehicle traffic permit system. Transport methods that can be transported by car are in practical use. In this transportation method, since the wheel loader to which the small-diameter wheel is mounted cannot move over the step of the trailer by self-propelling, the loading / unloading operation of the wheel loader with respect to the trailer is performed using a hoist.

As related prior art, there is one proposed in Patent Document 1, for example. In Patent Document 1, by using a pressure relief valve that can be selectively operated, the tire pressure of the vehicle is selectively reduced to a predetermined value to improve the traction force of the tire, or the overall height of the vehicle can be reduced. There is a statement that it will be lowered.

However, in the conventional transportation method, the loading and unloading work of the wheel loader using the hoist is large and troublesome, and the transportation method is not established unless the hoisting equipment is prepared at the starting point and the destination respectively. There is a problem that the nature is low.

On the other hand, Patent Document 1 describes that the overall height of the vehicle is reduced by a pressure relief valve that can be selectively operated, but the height during transportation (the total height during loading) is defined by law. There is no description suggesting that this method is applied to a method of transporting heavy vehicles below the height limit value.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and is a simple and highly versatile transportation method for transporting heavy vehicles by setting the height during transportation to a height limit value or less stipulated by laws and regulations. A heavy vehicle transport method according to the fifth invention is
A method of transporting a heavy vehicle that loads and transports a heavy vehicle on a transport vehicle,
(A) a step of attaching a tire for transportation to the heavy vehicle;
(B) a step of loading the transport vehicle by self-propelling the heavy vehicle equipped with the transport tire;

(E) transporting the heavy vehicle to a destination by the transport vehicle;
(F) filling the transport tire with air, removing the support, and then removing the heavy vehicle from the transport vehicle by self-propelling; and (g) replacing the transport tire with a regular tire. It is characterized by this.

In the present invention, the heavy vehicle is loaded on the transportation vehicle by self-running, and the height of the heavy vehicle is reduced by reducing the height of the heavy vehicle by removing the air from the tire mounted on the heavy vehicle. The total height when loaded) shall not exceed the height limit value (3.8 m or less) stipulated by the Vehicle Restriction Ordinance (Road Act), Road Traffic Act, Road Transport Vehicle Act, etc. According to the present invention, a heavy vehicle can be transported by a transport vehicle without using a special vehicle passage permission system. Further, since the work using the hoist which is necessary in the conventional transportation method is not required, there is an advantage that it can be easily performed and is highly versatile.

Next, a specific embodiment of the method for transporting heavy vehicles according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. This embodiment is an example in which the present invention is applied to a wheel loader as a heavy vehicle.

FIGS. 1 to 3 are diagrams for explaining a method for transporting heavy vehicles according to an embodiment of the present invention.

In the transportation method of the present embodiment, the wheel loader 1 is connected to a trailer-coupled vehicle (hereinafter referred to simply as “trailer 2”) connected to a tractor (not shown) and a heavy goods transport semi-trailer 2 (hereinafter referred to as “trailer 2”). It corresponds to a “transport vehicle”.) And is transported by loading, and includes the following first to seventh steps.

First, as shown in FIG. 1 (a), a transport-only tire 4 is mounted in place of the regular tire 3 mounted on the wheel loader 1 at the departure point (first step). Next, as shown in FIGS. 2B and 2C, an inclined base 5 for assisting the getting on and off of the wheel loader 1 with respect to the trailer 2 is installed in the vicinity of the rear end of the trailer 2 and the transport-only tire 4 is mounted. The wheel loader 1 is loaded on the trailer 2 by self-propelling (second process). Here, the regular tire 3 is a pneumatic tire for a construction vehicle selected so as to meet working conditions. The transport tire 4 is a pneumatic tire used exclusively during transport, and the difference between the tire volume when the air is filled and the tire volume when the air is removed is set to be relatively large. It will be. The tire diameter of the transport-only tire 4 is set to be approximately the same as the tire diameter of the regular tire 3, and the wheel loader 1 to which the transport-only tire 4 is attached can easily get over the step of the trailer 2.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2A, for example, a sleeper 6 is used as a support for supporting the vehicle weight of the wheel loader 1 in place of the transport tire 4 when the transport tire 4 is evacuated. A total of four are installed on the trailer 2 so as to correspond to both side portions of each axle before and after the wheel loader 1 (third step). Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 5B, the air of the transport tire 4 is removed to lower the vehicle height of the wheel loader 1, and the sleeper 6 supports the weight of the wheel loader 1 (fourth step). ). In this way, the transportation height (the total height when loaded) H is set to a height restriction value (3.8 m or less) defined by the Vehicle Restriction Ordinance (Road Act), the Road Traffic Act, the Road Transport Vehicle Act and the like. The wheel loader 1 is fixed to the trailer 2 by a wire rope or a chain (not shown) in preparation for transportation to the destination.

The wheel loader 1 is transported to the destination by the trailer-coupled vehicle after the transportation height H is made to be not more than the height limit value stipulated by law in the fourth step (fifth step). At the destination, as shown in FIG. 3 (a), after filling the transport-only tire 4 with air and removing the sleepers 6, the slope 5 is used as shown in FIG. 3 (b). Then, the wheel loader 1 is lowered from the trailer 2 by self-propelling (sixth step). Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 5C, the regular tire 3 is attached instead of the transport-only tire 4 attached to the wheel loader 1 (seventh step).

As described above, in the present embodiment, the wheel loader 1 is loaded on the trailer-coupled vehicle by self-propelling, and then the air of the transport tire 4 attached to the wheel loader 1 is removed to remove the wheel loader. By reducing the vehicle height of 1, the transport height (total height when loaded) H is set to a height limit (3.) defined in the Vehicle Restriction Ordinance (Road Act), Road Traffic Act, Road Transport Vehicle Act, etc. 8m or less). According to the present embodiment, the wheel loader 1 can be transported by the trailer-connected vehicle without using the special vehicle passage permission system. Further, since the work using the hoist which is necessary in the conventional transportation method is not required, there is an advantage that it can be easily performed and is highly versatile.

In addition, in this embodiment, it replaces with the regular tire 3 with which the wheel loader 1 is mounted | worn in the 1st process shown by FIG. If the total height when loaded with air is less than the height limit value stipulated by law, carry out the second to sixth steps with the regular tire 3 still attached. Also good. In addition, when the transport-only tire 4 has a structure that can stably support the vehicle weight of the wheel loader 1 even in a state where air is removed, there may be an aspect in which the sleepers 6 are not used.
