使用電力量を計量する電力量計の通信用端子から出力される計量データを外部に伝送する電力量計用通信装置であって、
前記電力量計で計量された計量データを外部に伝送する伝送信号入出力部及びこの伝送信号入出力部に電源を供給する電源部を収納するケースと、
前記ケース内に設けられ、前記電力量計の通信用端子と前記ケースに収納された前記伝送信号入出力部とを接続するための通信端子と、
前記ケース内に設けられ、前記電力量計の配電線用端子と前記ケースに収納された前記電源部とを接続するための電源端子と、
前記ケースを前記電力量計のカバー端子部に固定するための固定部材と、
を備え、
この固定部材により前記ケースが前記電力量計のカバー端子部に固定されたとき、前記通信端子が前記電力量計の通信用端子に接続され、前記電源端子が前記電力量計の配電線用端子に接続されることを特徴とする電力量計用通信装置。
